  • I love this canned matcha latte! It’s not disturbingly sweet like most matcha lattes, it’s actually drinkable and delicious! It not having any sugar is even better!! I don’t feel guilty about drinking it. As someone who has been drinking matcha lattes for years this one in my new favorite by a landslide! I’ve never tried any of their other flavors because i like this one too much!

  • I found the Taika Matcha Latte almost immediately in the refrigerated section. The bright green outside of the can greatly stood out. The can is skinny, which I really appreciate. The beverage itself was delicious. The taste of matcha was perfectly balanced and the macadamia milk was an added delicious flavor.

  • I tried the black coffee in a can, unsweetened, and with no milk or cream. I was thrown off a little bit by the salt. I do really appreciate that they offer a variety that has no added sugar and is dairy free.

  • I normally don’t like a Matcha, but this has a very smooth taste. I wish it did have more protein. It only has 2 g of protein. It is made with macadamia milk so it is super smooth it has about 60 g of caffeine. And only one net carb, very healthy and very good

  • Honestly pretty good! This one was the mocha flavor, I feel like if you’re into mocha this would be perfect for you! Not to sweet nor bitter just right. Personally added half and half + a teaspoon of creamer to just make it more to my liking in coffee. Love that it’s Zero sugar too!

  • Edit: Taika sent me a new box very quickly! The product came in good condition and it was super yummy. It reminds me of green tea, but sparkling. Unfortunately, my package came ruined because the cans were punctured in transit. Company might want to think of better packaging.

  • I purchased the Matcha Latte and the Mocha Latte. Initially I made a huge mistake of not shaking the beverage before drinking so my first experience with the Matcha Latte was bitter LOL I was halfway through and looking at the can when I realized I didn't shake it... oops! I ended up pouring the rest of the drink into a mug and stirring it to "mix." It wasn't the same, but better than nothing! Fortunately, I had a second can of the Matcha Latte; so after properly shaking that one, I had a more pleasant experience the following day. It wasn't too sweet or bitter and you can still taste the matcha-ness without being overwhelmed with syrups and artificial sugars. It was a decent pick-me-up for the middle of a workday. As for the Mocha Latte, it was also decent though I taste a lot more cocoa than latte... yes, I know MOCHA so I should expect some sort of cocoa, but to me this tasted overwhelmingly like a healthier chocolate milk. It was still tasty though because who says no to cocoa chocolate and coffee? haha And although the drinks have a blend of adaptogens in their recipe, they are still tasty! They had done a great job of making a more mindful beverage without compromising on the taste and quality. I have not experienced any jitters or caffeine rushes with these drinks so far, but I will say when I had the Mocha Latte I was still able to fall asleep and not feel wired for the rest of the day or drained the following day. Will I purchase again? Perhaps as I am interested in the other flavors!

  • I have tried many canned and bottled coffee but Taika is by far one of my favorites, now!!! I purchased the Macadamia Latte which is delightful :p Super smooth, not thick, which is something that I loved and makes it most enjoyable to drink in one sitting. Other coffees take me a while to drink because they are too sweet and thick....not Taika, it is perfect. Not to mention it has Ashwagandha, Theanine and of course caffeine! Win Win & Winnnnn

  • I was pleasantly surprised by this drink! It definitely hits any matcha craving I may have, and convenient that it is in a can as well. It is also both sweet and creamy, just as the packaging says. I'd buy again!

  • I'm not usually a canned coffee drinker as I prefer to brew my own, but this one pleasantly surprised me. I've tried the mocha (purchased) and the oat milk (free) and have enjoyed both flavors. I particularly love the inclusion of adaptogens as someone that is always trying to find more ways to incorporate adaptogens and supplements into my routine

  • As a creative, this was labeled “creative fuel”, so they got me there. I was pleasantly surprised by the macadamia nut latte. It was smooth and creamy with a nice nutty taste to it. I did see a bit of white chunks, so I suggest shaking vigorously before opening. I can’t speak much to the adaptogens and its energy-effective claims, as it has 100 mg of caffeine in it. But I was definitely not jittery (I am caffeine sensitive).

  • I got the matcha latte flavor and the texture is really creamy. I enjoyed the taste, but it doesn’t have a very strong matcha flavor, mainly the macadamia milk which I still enjoyed. I usually drink tea over coffee so didn’t feel a significant difference with the adaptogens, but it’s something I would try again since I can’t get my homemade matcha lattes to have as creamy as a texture as this one.

  • I was surprised, but this tea is amazing. I bought matcha flavor, and it very tasty. It’s balanced, not over tasty, right it should be. Also I liked it because of no sugar or any sweeteners added.

  • Finally found these at Whole Foods. I opted to try the Matcha Latte. As a design student, I love the packaging and branding! However, at first taste, it was bitter though I don't know which ingredient caused this bitter taste. The color was like a greenish brown. I don't think I would buy this again.

  • Overall, their matcha tastes good. I also like the serving size, finally a little drink that gives energy, but doesn’t leave you feeling like you ate a full meal. I didn’t appreciate the sweetness, which is not surprising given that this little can has 10g of erythritol. Personally I don’t need every thing I eat or drink taste like a dessert. It’s also quite high in saturated fats, so I would put Taika in the treats category, not something I’d consume regularly.

  • I received one can of Taika for free via Thingdrop (macadamia latte). I tried it chilled with a friend and we really enjoyed it. The taste is pleasant (which we weren't expecting upon seeing that it's sugar-free), very milky and sweet. Definitely the same category of drink as a Starbucks Macchiato. I liked the strong macadamia flavor. Unfortunately I can't speak to how it compares with normal coffee (the adaptogen / productivity angle), I don't know how to measure that, although anecdotally I did feel energetic after drinking it (though not as much as I would after coffee) and didn't get a harsh caffeine crash like I would after a coffee. I would buy this with my own money instead of the Starbucks Macchiato, which is usually my go-to.

  • It's a great drink! I've been an avid Guayaki Yerba Mate drinker for years. I frequently try other mate products, but they rarely hit the note I want. Flavor is off, generally. Mateverse has a great flavor, packaging that's different and fun (from Eric Hu, I believe, frequent heavy-hitter), and just enough caffeine for an afternoon booster. I'd probably want more caffeine for a morning pick-me-up, but for a mid-to-late afternoon coffee/tea break, this hits the spot. Good stuff.

Get stocked in delis and grocery stores in NYC! I don't like to purchase beverages on the internet when I can get a version of what I want by walking a couple hundred feet out my door. Otherwise, another product in the line with something like 120mg of caffeine would be great.

  • I am absolutely loving Taika! As someone who enjoys coffee but wants something more than just the usual cup, Taika is a game changer. The smooth, rich flavor and the added functional ingredients like adaptogens and nootropics really set it apart from regular coffee

  • I tried the Macadamia Latte. It was yummy to pour over ice. I loved the smoothness of the cold brew and the flavor of the macadamia milk. My only complaint is that it is a little gritty. I wo!

  • This product was pretty good, but I don't see it making it's way into my daily rounds. I didn't experience any of the touted benefits (the laundry list may take time but I didn't feel any expected caffeine boost either). The taste was pretty good and even though they don't use normal sugars, I couldn't really taste the sweeteners that usually make up these "No Sugar Added" products. It is smooth and creamy as described and hit the spot on the beach.
