Reviews mention

  • Velvety, invisible finish
  • Makeup-friendly primer texture
  • Inclusive, no white cast
  • Lightweight, elegant formulas
  • Occasional oily residue
  • Chemical scent or eye sting
  • Tinted shade range limitations
  • Packaging clogs or separation

Supergoop! earns largely positive reviews for wearable, no–white-cast SPF formulas that double as makeup primers—Unseen Sunscreen and Glow Screen frequently impress for smooth, lightweight application and everyday protection—yet some reviewers report greasiness, pilling, breakouts, or separation and question efficacy versus cheaper dupes. Reviews highlight inclusive, matte-to-glowy finishes, easy reapplication formats (sprays, sticks, powders), and family-friendly PLAY, while noting product-inherent drawbacks like oily feel, chemical scent or eye sting, heavy shine from Glow products, limited shade range in tints, and occasional packaging clogs or leaks.

  • I have tried their sunscreen and lip balm. love both and will definitely repurchase.

  • I use their Play body spray and their Glowscreen (daily!) on my face.

    Feedback

Some of the sprayers on the Refresh products don't work.

  • I use the Unseen Sunscreen daily and I love it. It goes on super smoothly and LOVE that it’s clear and I don’t have to deal with the mineral white glow.

    Feedback

I’d love to see them come out with less plastic-based packaging

  • I liked the idea of supergoop, as well as the feel when it went on my face, but my skin was a lot oilier throughout the day when I would use it.

    Feedback

    A less clogging sunscreen.

  • Without a doubt some of the best products on the market. I love the Play suncreen for our family, as well as the face sticks. The Glow Screen is ELITE.

Love that you can buy many places and it feels exclusive but not prohibitive!

  • I'm a repeat customer and am now on my 4th tube of Supergoop Mattescreen. It doesn't break me out, is clean and doesn't leave a white sheen due to the slight pigmentation. The pigmentation doesn't provide any coverage but that's fine with me since I usually use a light concealer on top of my sunscreen.

  • Great product - I wear it everyday under my makeup. Offers great sun protection and doesn’t cause breakouts.

  • Always good, always high quality.

Supergoop is the best sunscreen hands down.

  • Love their Play sunscreen and their Baby sunscreen. We have big bottles of the Play sunscreen by our doors for easy access and always have their Baby sunscreen stick and spray in our diaper bag. I personally like the Glow Stick and Oil in the summer time, and their hair powder but did not love the smell or feel of their mineral sunscreens.

The Unseen Sunscreen feels strange (first greasy film-like then dry?) and is not mineral, which doesn't provide as much coverage. An earlier version of the superscreen spf 40 moisturizer had this very strong chemical-like smell to it that really put it off and it isn't mineral either. Good to see new shades were created for the mineral CC screen but have read mixed reviews. Would like to give it try, maybe if there was a small travel size version available.

  • the go-to sunscreen for our family, especially the spray, the clean angle is super important for the kids, the products are easy to use, not too greasy, smell great... even the mineral sunscreen is pretty good

  • Love the thickness and focus on SPF every day.

Wish it looked more masculine - it's got GOOP in the name - but not off putting.

  • I have the Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen and it's pretty great. It's the first sunscreen that got me to wear it daily. It's perfect under makeup or without makeup at all. It's expensive, but I still use it on my 7 year old daughter's face in the summer because she hates normal sunscreen and this neither smells like or feels like normal sunscreen.

It's a small size and it's expensive, but I'm willing to pay for a quality product. I REALLY wish it wasn't in a plastic bottle with a plastic cap - especially in such a small container size.

  • Unseen sunscreen for the win! Other products are hit or miss for me as some don't settle well on my skin. Still would recommend based on product offering, price, and ingredients!

  • There's something comforting about using an SPF that works and you know is good for the environment. Supergoop does both of those things. It's not heavy on the skin and totally shades you from the sun.

Is the spray really reef safe? I wasn't convinced with the language on the packaging.

  • Supergoop! has the best SPF. Their Unseen Sunscreen and Glow Screen are modern classics. They feel light, leave a wonderful sheen to the skin, and lay perfectly under makeup. Their body sunscreens are also amazing!

  • I love this brands mission, and they're obviously worked to really perfect one thing, but i do find it quite hit and miss. I have 3 of their products and only really love one whichh is the everyday sunscreen. I find the daily dose (vitamin c + SPF) super greasy and the matte one too thick.

  • Glow Screen is fantastic, would 1000% recommend as someone with fair skin who has to wear SPF every day. It's a nice alternative to foundation - very light coverage with a nice feel, smell, and application experience.

  • I dont think I've ever looked a skincare product more. I love the unseen sunscreen for everyday use and especially for when I'm working out outside. I also like to use it as a primer!

I would love them to release a full makeup line so that there is spf in everything
