  • Separation in some formulas

Supergoop! wins strong reviews for making daily SPF genuinely wearable and effective, with Unseen Sunscreen praised as weightless, invisible, and makeup‑primer smooth, and Glow Screen loved for its luminous tint; however, many reviews flag greasiness, pilling, breakouts, and mixed protection on long, hot days. Reviewers applaud no white cast, diverse textures, kid‑friendly PLAY, and on‑the‑go formats, while citing weaknesses like chemical scent, occasional separation, limited shade range in tints, and a consistently high price for small sizes.

  • The best all-around sunscreen brand. The sprays are a personal favorite. It's light and non-sticky and absorbs beautifully. Fun fact: you can buy it from the FSA Store with your FSA dollars.

  • Really great products. They look good and feel great on the skin. However, it’s expensive for very little product.

Decrease the price, increase the product sizes

  • I love supergoop products! They are great for my sensitive skin.

    Feedback

The price point is pretty prohibitive. I can only buy this brand when I get a discount. I also wish they would workshop their mineral formulations to be less reactive to sensitive skin and with less white cast.

  • I'm actually excited to wear sunscreen for once. As someone who hates the feeling of heavy product on their face, I often opted to keep my face out of the sun than to apply a heavy , pore-clogging sunscreen. Supergoop changed the game for me - the unseen screen is now part of my daily routine, and it is so weightless I barely notice it (not to mention, doesn't have that overwhelming sunscreen smell).

    Feedback

The price point is high, but the product goes a long way so I try to overlook for the most part. I haven't gone back for the body spray because of price point, it goes too fast for $21 / can.

  • I love Supergoop! it is easy to apply, smells great, comes through with SPF protection.

I think their face sunscreen is the best product they have. I very rarely find huge differences in body sunscreen to justify price, but with their face sunscreens they have great options for base layers under makeup, as makeup, over makeup or for the beach

  • I’ve tried both the Every. Single. Face. sunscreen and the (Re)setting Mist. I love the mist but would pass on the sunscreen if buying again. The face mist is so convenient, and I absolutely love that I can quickly refresh my SPF in the middle of the day without disturbing my makeup. The lotion was a bit disappointing—I thought the finish was a bit greasy, and I don’t find myself reaching for it as my every day. I’ll use it when I spend a lot of time outside and don’t need to worry about my appearance as much, but for my everyday SPF, I still reach for my tried and true Korean sunscreens.

  • Supergoop makes quality SPF fun. Although the price point is higher compared to drugstore alternatives, their formulas are top-quality. They educate on the importance of SPF and it’s different forms (mineral, chemical, water resistant, etc.). Sunscreen is now more enjoyable to apply with Supergoop.

Genuinely, nothing needs improvement. The pricepoint is high, but that’s part of what makes Supergoop a luxury and desirable brand.

  • Supergoop sunscreens feel great on my skin!

Tends to burn my eyes unfortunately. Also sooo expensive.

  • Love the big pump-size version of this - we keep it by the back door and it's such a good reminder to apply now that I'm living in sunny LA!

  • GLOWING. That's what I said when I saw a friend looking positively radiant at a music festival. Come to find out she was wearing the Glowscreen, so I instantly ordered it. It's super gentle, great on my sensitive skin, but honestly feels like makeup because of the subtle glow it adds. Such a treat to wear!

  • Here to talk about the Unseen Sunscreen because it is my holy grail! I always buy it two at a time. I have fairly oily skin, which obviously gets worse in the heat/humidity of summer. This is the only SPF product that doesn't feel heavy for daily wear and it works amazing under makeup as well. 10/10!

Bigger container and also maybe not a tube? Would love something with a pump for the product.

  • I use the everyday lotion and it slaps. Super smooth, no white-cast and I don't get burned. Trader Joes has a dup that's pretty similar but doesn't work quite as well, but it much better bang for your buck.

  • Unseen Sunscreen is the BEST sunscreen I’ve ever put on my face. Leaves a lovely velvety texture, no white cast, and works very well. Saved my face on many a beach trip or Palm Springs vacation.

Very pricey! The one downside is I wish it was a bit less expensive.

  • I've used a few different Supergoop products, and they've all been great for me. I like how they go on like body lotion which makes it an easy choice to put on during the day, even if I'm not at the beach or going to exercise outdoors, because I have tattoos and sun protection is necessary all the time anyway. The Play lip balm is fine, but I get a funny taste likely due to the SPF in the product. It is a bit pricey, but I haven't found anything else as good quality.

  • I've been using Supergoop for years and have always found them to make great products. I love using the Play sunscreen when I'll be going out in the sun for a few hours and it always provides great protection for my body and face. I also love that I can get it in a large size with a pump which is very convenient.

  • This and Coola have become staples of our household. With two young kids, having quality sunscreen that doesn't wash off easily is a necessity. A lot of mineral-based sunscreens tend to be sticky and super thick, which makes putting them on a squirming 16-month old or say, an energetic 5 year old, a little tricky. Supergoop feels more like a moisturizer, thick but not overly so, and very easy to put on. We have a giant pump on the table next to the front door, and it's a quick and easy process to get both kids covered. Pro-tip, if you have an HSA, you can probably use your HSA to pay for most of the Supergoop products (not an expert, but called my healthcare provider to confirm this).

My big complaint about Supergoop is the smell. It's a little strong at first, and a tad chemical-like. The initial odor fades quickly enough, but there tends to be a bit of a lingering smell on my hands, even after washing them. Smell is totally subjective, but for me, that's one of the reasons that we having fully converted to a Supergoop only household.

  • Love the products, love the texture.

    Feedback

the sunscreen does make my eyes water though. Like sometimes to the point where I can't see. (I also heard it's carcinogenic)

  • I love Supergoop SO MUCH. They have so many products, all of which are covered under my FSA and all of which work like a charm. They have such innovative things, like a setting spray that also reapplies sunscreen. SO SMART.

  • I highly recommend Supergoop unseen sunscreen for all of my melanated friends. It is a chemical sunscreen which means there’s no white cast! It also works great under makeup, making any look a bit more dewy. It feels great on the skin and is non-comedogenic.

    Feedback

The scent is a bit odd, but easy to get over

  • I love Supergoop! The product of theirs that I use most consistently is the Unseen Sunscreen SPF 40. It's my daily go-to, and I apply it to my face every morning. I can barely feel that it's there, and I've never burnt while wearing it.
