Stanley earns strong reviews for keeping drinks cold for hours, generous capacities like the 40 oz Quencher, and ergonomic touches such as a sturdy handle, tapered base, and easy-to-clean parts, so the brand works for daily hydration. Reviews also flag real drawbacks: many tumblers leak or spill when tipped, larger sizes feel heavy and bulky, shiny finishes can chip, and insulation performance varies, with some finding it only “okay” and comparable to competitors.

Can't live without my Stanley now that I have one. Hands down best brand to keep beverages cold for hours and hours on end. I have started drinking water every day with my Stanley cup . My daughter bought it for me for Christmas as I was not convinced anyone should pay that much for drinkware. I was wrong. I will buy another one if necessary. Love, love, love mine. Very durable, high quality, perfect handle for carrying, sturdy straw, spillproof lid, and easy to clean. Even in over 100 degree weather my water stays ice cold. Now that is impressive!!!

I love my stanley! I fill mine up at night and keep it by my bed, that way I get ahead of my hydration first thing in the morning. My tumbler makes drinking water fun, theres something about the light weight and size of the straw thats just perfect.

Honestly I think Stanley makes good quality products, however I question if the quality of the cups are worth the extra money. I think when it comes to the brand you are paying more for the logo and the "look" than anything. Like many other water bottle and drink cup trends, I think the Stanley one will die out and something new will take its place. For that reason if you are just looking for a quality water bottle or cup to drink out of I would suggest you save your money and purchase a cheeper brand that is just as good of quality. Or do some digging and find one on sale or clearance.

It's actually so worth the price, and I've never had an issue with spilling. Plus, I love that I have a unique color/pattern that no one else has and it gets tons of compliments.

If you have any sort of online presence whatsoever, you're probably sick of hearing about Stanley cups, and, if I'm being honest, the discourse seems a bit unnecessary for what is, at the end of the day, a glorified tumbler cup. The color varieties are cute, but, at 40 bucks (or more) a pop, these are a hard pass. They fall over too easily, leak too easily, and don't keep your water cold for the lengths they claim. Stanley cups are also entirely inconvenient to transport anywhere, unless you want to purchase one of the many accoutrements available from third-party sellers.

I have never enjoyed drinking water, this water bottle comes everywhere with me because of how cute she is. I now drink so much more water and have been so much more hydrated.

I love love love my Stanley! I have the 40 oz Quencher and my mom loved it so much she bought one too! It really really keeps your drink cold (I have not tried it hot). I am bad at drinking water but this helps me drink more water throughout the day!

I love my Stanely thermos, it's 1.1qt and it keeps my coffee hot for the entire day (and still prettty warm the second day). I use this everyday at work it fit's almost an entire pot of coffee. It's solid, can handle falls (unlike the ones with glass inside), and seals nicely to keep your hot coffee hot. Not sure if it keeps cold, cold but I imagine the same theory works. More affordable than that "other brand"!

I love my Stanley, it hold just the right amount of liquid & is very aesthetically pleasing but it’s a nightmare to travel with!

I love my Stanley, I definitely prefer the 30 oz option. I’m obsessed and now have 3! It’s not spill proof but I do like it more than a yeti it’s lighter to handle.

I love my Stanley cup so much. I had one before the popularity but just bought a new light pink one. It gets the job done and keeps my water ice cold.

I have the 40 oz Stanley tumbler and I love it. It’s a little pricey but it has a lifetime warranty! It keeps my drinks cold (or hot, depending on what I’ve got in there) and the handle is everything! My only gripe with it is the lid. I’ve seen other brands with more spill resistant lids so I know it can be done. Otherwise, I’m very happy with my comically large cup.

I work night shifts where I spend long hours either shuttered away in a laboratory with specimens or on the floor with patients collecting the samples. These extended hours make it difficult to say hydrated. By getting a Stanley cup, which is 40 oz of sustainable aluminium, I can keep water fresh and cold within easy reach, allowing me to stay well hydrated. I love that Stanley Cups come in all sorts of designs and sizes to fit everyone's needs. I got the 40 oz quencher.

Great product it is expensive though

As someone who works long hours (often without much time for breaks), my Stanley Quencher 40oz tumbler has been a total game changer. I use it every day at work and honestly, I don’t know how I managed without it before. The 40oz size is perfect—I don’t have to constantly refill it or make extra trips to the water fountain during my shift. It keeps my water cold all day, no matter how busy or hot it gets. Seriously, I’ve left ice in it overnight and it’s still there in the morning. One of the things I really appreciate is the updated leak-free top. I used to worry about spills if it tipped over in the car or at my desk, but not anymore. It’s reliable, easy to carry, and fits in most cup holders despite its large size. Overall, if you’re someone who needs to stay hydrated throughout a long day (especially in healthcare or on your feet constantly), I highly recommend the Stanley Quencher. It’s worth the hype—and the investment.
Really love my Stanley! Easy to travel with and work at a desk with. Has held up well and really versatile.
My hydroflask leaked & ruined my macbook, so I switched over to the Stanley line & so far I am very happy with it. I also love that this now fits in my cup holder in my car rather than sloshing all over like the hydroflask.
I hate how perfect it is. My sister sent it to me in rose quartz and I feel like I am turning into a suburban mom with every sip. It really has changed my life. I once fancied myself a cool NY mom, but not anymore. Now I have a Stanley Cup. AND I LOVE IT. I drink so much water.
I was absolutely influenced to buy my first Stanley ( yes there is now more than 1 in my house.) I got caught up and went from store to store after drops to get them as gifts. I have the older model 40 oz and the new model 30oz. I bring the newer model everywhere and it does get me to drink more water. To be honest, although there were improvements, it’s a bummer that they are not spill proof. If it gets knocked over there will be water everywhere.
I got the 40oz Flow State as a work perk. Having it on my desk does really help my efforts to drink enough water. It's nice that it keeps drinks cold, though that's not really a requirement for me (I don't mind a room temp water situation!) and I like that all pieces can easily go in the dishwasher. BUT i'm a little confused on the hype - it's pretty darn heavy to carry around so I avoid traveling out of my house with it, especially since its not really leakproof if the straw is in. I typically like to carry a decent amount of water when i'm headed to the gym so this would've been an ideal size but gets ruled out because of those drawbacks, too.
