Shark earns strong reviews for effective, thoughtfully designed tools—from quiet, maneuverable fans and durable, easy-to-clean vacuums to versatile hair stylers that speed dry time and boost shine—yet weaknesses surface around loud hair tool noise, curl hold, and a few usability quirks. Reviews of Shark indicate the brand is good overall, with standout steam mops that sanitize across surfaces and clever waste-separating cleaners, but some products feel bulky, require frequent pad changes, or deliver underpowered first fan settings.

Bought the TurboBlade for summer—and its exactly what I wanted. Setup was minimal to none, with a great mechanism that allows you to move the fan around without much effort + still air the room. It's fairly quiet too—so perfect to keep in smaller spaces.

I have had multiple Bissell Little Green machines, and this Shark is so much better. My biggest frustration with the Little Green was that I could never truly clean it afterward because the parts did not come apart at all. Cleaning up dog messes is bad enough without ending up with a machine that also feels dirty. This Shark is much easier to maintain because the parts actually come apart and can be cleaned properly. I have used it on my sofa and carpets for dog messes, and it has done a great job. It is one of those products that makes an annoying job feel a lot more manageable.

I love this mask! The cryo eye pads are my favorite part. It's a hands free mask allowing me to wear it while getting dressed for work. I've been using it everyday for a week and I have noticed a difference

All the things you don't love about cleaning mess and stains they thought of! Clumps and solids are put in a separate container so they don't go through the hose, which I love. It has several attachments for getting hair as well! I'm really impressed.

This mop is amazing! The rotating steam pads make cleaning so much easier and my floors look spotless every time. I love that it sanitizes without any harsh chemicals and is super easy to use. The pads are washable, which is such a bonus, and the quality feels really durable. Definitely one of my favorite cleaning tools!

I bought the FlexStyle Air Styling System to be a less-expensive option to my Dyson Airwrap when travelling. It looks and feels less luxe than the Dyson, and it’s certainly louder than the Dyson. I like the round brush attachment - I think it grips my hair better, but the curl barrels are not it. And it’s annoying to have to pop them on and off to change curl direction - my Dyson curl barrel is just one attachment that can swap directions with a flick of the wrist. But it’s better than counting on the hair dryer in the hotel bathroom.

With 4 kids and 2 wild cats who love to leave me presents this Shark SteamSpot steam mop has been a miracle for my house. With baby crawling and walking everywhere, this was super easy to get started and use right away. I love how lightweight overall the steam mop is. XL removable water tank that fills 16.9 fl oz of water (or 500ml). I love that its chemical free and just use water! Comes with 2 washable pads that doesn't get ruined after several washes. Very simple to stick them on and steam away the dirty floor. I've tried this on varies of floors, from tiles to hardwood to laminate. Works excellent on all! Too bad it doesn't steam the carpets hah. This steam mop has 3 modes for steaming, I tend to use maximum level and it does a fantastic job. I love how it lasts to cover my entire kitchen, living room and laundry room plus halls before I need to add more water! That's a lot, with the fact I have a spacious home with lots of space. If you press the handle, it releases more steam for extra spot on cleaning! I can't believe I didn't have this steam mop sooner! All those vacuums I've ever owned didn't do it's justice comparing to this product. Love steaming as it kills those germs. One way I'd improve this product is having the cord being a retractable cord for easier to manage cord. The cord itself is long and there are hooks to wrap it around when cleaning or putting it away but I think a retractable cord would be a better design.

This fan is great! I love that it can be battery powered so it can easy be transported outside. The misting is great for outside too. The tabletop and stand combo is genius! It’s the perfect addition to help the insane Texas heat! The biggest negatives: 1. The first setting is useless. You don’t feel anything. 2. Fan won’t turn on with the remote first. It’s like in an idle mode or something until you turn it, then the fan and remote works fine. I would still definitely recommend it though! Works great!

I’m pretty sure I love the shark air wrap way more than the Dyson! My husband bought this for me for my birthday and it quickly became my favorite gift. I mean look at the body it gives my hair!!!

Just used it. So far, it’s very quiet compared to other vacuums, apparently it’s self-cleaning, and I was impressed by how the only plastic in the box besides the vacuum itself was the guard for the electrical plug.

I have the shark air flex style and it has changed my life. It dries my hair super fast and now its so much easier. The attachments are very useful, so with the same hair dryer I can make different styles.

I purchased a vacuum from them that worked well, but ultimately I needed a stronger one since my dog's hair was not picked up.
I own a Shark Vacuum and a the hair styler... I am obsessed with both. The vacuum works very well and is absolutely worth the money. I'm certain it's a dyson dupe for a fraction of the price. As for the hair styler, I am very glad I never purchased the dyson. I've used both and I genuinely find Shark's to be the better option. Also, for the price? It's a no brainer.
All my products are a shark, especially my vacuums. The most recent one I bought was the robot vacuum and I love that. I just wish I didn’t have to switch out the cleaning pads as often but it’s still pretty good product and good quality
Huge fan of Shark! We have the robot vacuum, the stick vacuum that empties into its own base, the handheld pet vacuum, and I got my MIL the blow dryer. Every product has been effective and held up for multiple years. I love the designs and the attention to detail.

FLEXSTYLE I've been using the Shark Flexstyle for a little over a year, and I'm still really liking it. Confession: I have never used the Dyson Airwrap, so I have no ability to compare the two. I use this device primarily as a heated round-brush. My hair is so smooth and shiny afterward, and I really think it has helped the health of my hair. I have very very fine naturally blonde hair, so it gets damaged really easily. I love it so much for the round brush feature. With the Curler attachments, it's a little more complicated. My hair will curl up for about 20 minutes with defined curls, and then the curls fall out (even with product to try to hold it). However, I have learned that my hair will be left with really soft curves - kind of like styled bed-head, so I'm not opposed to it, I just had to get used to the fact that the Flexstyle is never going to give me curl curls. Pros: -Love that it is one unit for multiple uses (although I don't use it as a straight hair dryer much) -Great for damage remedy and gentle styling -Love how my hair feels and looks after I use it Cons: -This thing is SO LOUD! Like seriously it is the loudest styling device I have EVER USED IN MY LIFE. I have legitimately considered using earplugs when I use it because, when I am working on sections near my ears, I worry about how loud it is... lol -Takes a long time to curl. In order to get those above-mentioned waves, I have to hold each section for about 35 sections a piece (15 seconds with heat, 20 seconds with cold air), so it takes about double the time just using a curling wand would. -It is kind of large and clunky to travel with. I originally got it with the travel case, but that thing is huge in itself so, not ideal for packing lightly. -As I'm sure everyone knows if you've looked into it, it's expensive. I bought mine on a black friday deal which made the price point a bit more bearable. Overall, would recommend :)
From using their hair styler to their vacuums, I think shark deleviers a sleek and performative products for a fraction of the price. Though their we sure could use some love.

I just purchased the Shark FlexStyle (with the FrizzFighter Finishing Tool and other attachments). I'm completely obsessed. I'm not very good at doing hair, so I watched a few tutorial videos that Shark made prior to using it for the first time, and I think that helped tremendously. It didn't take that long to get the hang of- maybe 3-4 minutes. What I especially appreciate is the dry time- this will cut my drying and styling time down from 30 minutes to 15. The other thing I love is how well it fights frizz while adding volume, which is a unique combination, and isn't always easy to achieve. I can't stop staring at my hair because I feel like I just came from the salon. I've used Shark products before with good results, so when they came out with a hair dryer I was over the moon. And they definitely didn't disappoint. What a value too- the technology and quality, for the price can't be beat. I highly recommend it- and for someone who has traditionally looked at doing hair as a chore, I am elated to say I can't wait to do my hair tomorrow!
