Reviews mention

  • Distinctive asian-inspired flavors
  • Natural fruit-forward taste
  • Clean low-sugar formulation
  • Versatile cocktail mixer
  • Inconsistent flavor intensity
  • Occasionally overly tart profile
  • Variable carbonation balance
  • Polarizing pomelo and mango

Sanzo earns positive reviews for refreshing, Asian-inspired sparkling waters that taste clean and often true to fruit—standouts include Lychee, Calamansi, and Yuzu—so yes, the brand works as a flavorful, low-sugar alternative. Reviews also flag inconsistencies: several flavors read muted or overly tart/sour, carbonation can feel either too soft or too aggressive, and pomelo/mango divide opinion, making the lineup hit-or-miss for some.

  • i picked up a can of sanzo at whole foods. i enjoyed the lychee flavor, but definitely preferred the calamansi. it does lack a bit in flavor, and i wish it was a bit more bubbly. a fun concept though, and i do hope they come out with more flavors.

  • I'm not a huge fan - i love sparkling water, and juice, and this is an inbetween that doesnt quite scratch any itch.

  • Tried the lychee flavor at an event, and it was good! Not too strong/sweet where it tastes like you're drinking something super artificial. If I'm out somewhere and see this as a drink option, I'll get it! But I probably wouldn't go out of my way to buy this while getting regular groceries.

  • Love the Ginger Flavor, Lyche and Yazu Flavor. Love how “not sweet” it and the flavor is just right. Definitely purchase at least once a week.

  • I love these. The fruit flavors are intense and I've never had any other lychee flavored sparkling waters more delicious than Sanzo's.

  • This is one of my favorite sparkling water brands (second only to Spindrift). I think the flavors are delicious — I've tried the Mango and the Lychee — and I think the cans are beautiful, too.

I would buy them more often if the pricing was just a bit more competitive.

  • I love this brand as a zero added sugar sparkling water option. I appreciate the variety of fruit flavors in which it is available. The bubble structure is strong enough to feel, yet not too aggressive.

  • I'd consider this drink a spindrift equivalent. The flavors are subtle and there's a slight natural sweetness to the sparkling water. This is the only brand with lychee flavor, which is my favorite one.

  • Nice fruity flavor for sparkling water I prefer my drinks sweeter so I add stevia but I loved the mango flavor. It tasted fruity and all natural which I appreciated great for any sparkling water lover.

  • I like this drink as a healthy alternative to pop. I drink it throughout the day. I like that it has 0 g of added sugar, and I feel refreshed after drinking a can of it. I like them multiple flavors of it too.

  • I was excited to try the sanzo sparkling waters because they offer more unique flavors options than other brands. I thought this was going to be sweet but it’s just the carbonated water with the added flavor no added sugars. Personally I added stevia to enjoy it. Depending on the flavor it either has fruit purée or juice. This lychee one had purée. If you enjoy non sweet sparkling waters I recommend this brand, I was not a fan 100% solid product just not for me.

  • Sparkling water with interesting flavors. I like the calamansi flavor. It is good that it has no added sugar.

  • love these asian-inspired sparkling water flavors! My two favs are yuzu and lychee!

  • I like Sanzo. There's nothing to dislike about it. There's zero sugar and real fruit. But yeah the flavored sparkling water market is crowded. Does Sanzo stand out? Its ok. It's really hard to compare them all.

  • The yuzu with ginger flavor is really interesting, a nice balance of tartness with a little bite. Would love to see some other unique sparkling water flavors from them.

  • Like Spindrift, these sparkling waters include a little bit of actual fruit juice or puree for flavor, instead of just "natural flavor". They taste very fresh, and the flavor options are unique. They're pricy for me but still an innovative drink option.

  • I absolutely love lychee and was excited to find a drink that was made of lychee. It was so great. I love that it has real fruit juice in it. So many great varieties to try.

  • This sparkling water has very unique flavors, but are also very tasty. My favorite is the lychee flavor. It is not artificial.

  • I like the mango and calamansi flavors but all the others are just okay. There is nothing super original now that the market is flooded with sparkling water brands. It is okay,
