Saltair earns strong reviews for sensorial body care that generally works—body washes lather silkily without stripping, lotions and body butters hydrate well, and the Santal Bloom deodorant is effective for many—while drawing mixed feedback on scent longevity and certain fragrances. Reviews praise luxurious aluminum packaging and sustainable touches, but note inconsistent deodorant performance for heavy sweaters, occasional packaging/pump issues, a sticky or faulty lip oil for some, and fragrances like Driftwood or Pink Beach reading synthetic or too light.

The description for the Santal Bloom Body Wash was one of the more appealing scents on the site, and while it does smell good/as described overall, there is definitely something about it that makes it smell cheaper than more luxurious (and obviously, more pricey) brands like Aesop or Le Labo. That being said, it is much cheaper than those other brands, but there are also body washes at the same price point (Dr. Bronner) that don't necessarily seem "cheap". The body wash does feel nourishing and leaves the skin feeling soft. That being said, this was only one of the scents, and there may be others that smell much better. I wish the company had a better return policy (at the customer's expense) since there isn't a way to figure out which scents you might like the best.

I really enjoy the smell of this product and the thick container it comes in. I will say, they overfill their items in a way I had to be super careful with the applicator (good problem!). The scent is great as I hoped and I was able to still notice it after a few hours

I would give this brand 5 stars if I didn't have to have it shipped to me, but since I live in Hawaii, I had it shipped and that's where they lose the star--although shipping is GREAT! It's fast and very communicative! My only issue with this product is that some of the bottles didn't make it without leaking, and since the package is only packed down using brown paper, I had a sticky, goopy box... but at least it smelled good! So be aware, if you are ordering to a far away location, contents may arrive a little leaky. Anyway, aside from the mishap, I love Saltair. I find that the body wash smells lovely, but the scent also stays. Not like you're going to be bombarded with scent and then it leaves as soon as you leave the shower. I also appreciate the pump when the bottle gets down to about 10% left. Then it's a little hard to get out the remainder, but hey, maybe it makes showering more fun. The suds facts is also great because it's not excessive, but while I know suds are not necessary, I like to have them. Between the Santal and Seascape sent I purchased, I have enjoyed both tremendously. I purchased the Cleanse and Hydrate bundle with the Santal scent and it has really made my skin feel so nice and clean. I use the hyaluronic acid to help with moisture, mostly after travel, and it feels just really nice after that post flight shower. It dries quickly, but I will say that I do often do a second layer of moisturizer if I am especially dry. All in all, I really enjoy Saltair. I used to buy it from a big box store, but since I no longer support said store, I will continue to purchase from Saltair directly... hoping they address the issue of the product leaking during shipping.

I absolutely love their lotion and body washes. The scents are elevated. The lotion is very nourishing and is absorbed quickly without a greasy feel. They do all this while maintaining an affordable price point. Win Win in my book and I will definitely continue to purchase.

This body wash is amazing and smells incredible. However the deodorant doesn’t work that well but I still would buy the body wash again and again. The smell is heavenly and it makes my whole bathroom smell amazing. I like some of the other scents too besides the Santal one.

My sister originally got this for me as a gift and I’ve repurchased it multiple times since. This body wash makes me look forward to my shower every time. The pump packaging makes it so easy to use and the serum texture is so innovative and I totally love the feel of it - I find it lathers really well and makes me feel super clean, but it also keeps my skin moisturized. And the scents are AMAZING - I especially love the pulp and sandal ones.

I tried the Saltair Santal Bloom 5% AHA serum deodorant and really like it. The scent is cozy but fresh, and even though it takes a bit to dry, it doesn’t leave any residue on my clothes. It feels effective without being sticky or heavy, and I appreciate the serum format. This is the only product I’ve tried from Saltair so far, but I’m definitely curious to explore more from the brand.

I’ve been on the hunt for a full body care routine that feels both indulgent and practical, and Saltair really caught my eye. I loved the idea of trying multiple products together and seeing how they work as a complete ritual—from cleansing to moisturizing. Below are the products I tried in this round from the company. Hydrate + Revive Duo & KP Body Smoother: I picked up these products together as part of building a more intentional body care routine. I deal with a few ongoing skin concerns — KP that I’ve had forever, plus hyperpigmentation on my legs from last season’s bug bites. My skin also tends to hold onto marks way longer than I’d like, so consistency is key for me. I wanted products that would exfoliate, hydrate, and help improve overall texture without irritating my skin. So far, this combo has been working well together. KP Body Smoother Exfoliating Milk: I’ve had KP for as long as I can remember, so regular exfoliation is non-negotiable if I want to keep it under control. I saw great reviews on this product and was really excited to add it into my routine. I’ve only been using it for a few weeks, so this is still an early review, but it’s been non-irritating for me, which is always my biggest concern with exfoliating products. It absorbs nicely and doesn’t leave my skin feeling stripped or uncomfortable. I’m excited to see how it performs over time and will definitely update once I’ve used it longer. HA Body Hydrator – Hyaluronic Acid Body Serum: This has been my go-to morning step after showering. It’s lightweight, easy to apply, and not messy or sticky. I’ve noticed my skin feels noticeably more hydrated overall, which helps everything else in my routine work better. It layers well and hasn’t caused any irritation for me at all. Retinol Revive Overnight Body Lotion: At night, I’ve been using this to help target texture and lingering marks, especially on my legs. I was cautious at first since retinol can sometimes be irritating, but I’ve had zero issues so far. My skin feels smooth and comfortable by morning, and I’m staying as consistent as possible to see how it helps with fading hyperpigmentation over time. Overall Thoughts: I’m really happy with this routine so far. No irritation, more hydrated skin, and everything works well together without overwhelming my skin. It’s still early, but I’m optimistic and looking forward to seeing continued results as I stay consistent. More updates to come — TBC. Driftwood Vault Set Review: I bought the Driftwood Vault Set because it felt like such a great value and an easy way to try a full body care routine. The set includes the Driftwood Body Wash, Serum Deodorant, Body Oil, and Multi-Lipid Body Butter. I did a blind buy based on the scent description and was really excited to try it, but unfortunately the fragrance ended up being too strong for me. I have asthma and am sensitive to certain scents, and after trying the body butter, it triggered my asthma, so I didn’t feel comfortable continuing with the rest of the products. I was definitely bummed because it really is a great set, but I decided not to return it and instead gifted it to a friend who loves the scent. While this particular scent wasn’t a match for me, I love the idea of this set and am excited to try a different scent from the brand next time.

I haven't had a solid body wash in a while and wanted to up my post shower self care routine so I jumped at the Thingtesting opportunity for this. First - the body wash feels great, smells great, and has worked well to gently wash off all of the markers my kids mark me up with. I love using the body hydrator right out of the shower. It is so easy to use - goes on easily unlike lotion - makes my skin feel so soft. I haven't tested the overnight retinol yet but I plan to - and I'm sure I won't be disappointed based on the two other products.

I love the body wash and body oil. They're both great however I don't know if they're game changing for my skin or anything special but they're nice and I love the branding. The body oil specifically feels very luxurious.

I decided to try an array of products from Saltair and have been pleasantly surprised. The Santal Bloom deodorant smells heavenly, and lasts as advertised. The overnight lotion is deeply hydrating. I like to put it on in the morning versus night. The body oil is 5/10 for me. It has a mineral oil scent that I don’t like. Overall, I would reorder anything in the Santal Bloom scent.

Great results, scent was a miss (for me). The Saltair shampoo and conditioner actually made my hair look great — smooth, healthy, and polished. I didn’t love the Santal Bloom scent, though; on me it read a little too much like an air freshener. That said, the packaging is really upscale. I used it in a friend’s guest bathroom and it instantly made the space feel spa-like. I’d definitely try other scents.

Saltair has been a favorite of mine for years. The exotic pulp scent is my favorite for the spring and summer. The wash is cleansing without being drying. I took a break in 2025 to try more expensive brands and honestly you’re getting the same quality for 1/3 of the price at Saltair.

I really enjoy the overall scent level for Saltair. There is a great amount of fragrance that is not overwhelming but also stays on your body. The deodorant is super light weight but very much does its job which is lovely especially when it is warmer. Also the body oil absorbs so well into the skin.

Afraid to try non-traditional deodorant because of past experience but this deodorant was surprisingly good. Scent is not strong, glides on smoothly and it works. So far only tried the bloom scent. It works great for daily wear, and I have worn it for a morning jog. Just wish it was a little cheaper.

I've been trying out the products I got for about a week now and have some mixed feelings about everything I bought. Scent wise: I had seen a lot of hype around the seascape scent, but when I received it, I felt like the scent wasn't anything special and it just smells like soap to me. I honestly don't really smell a difference between black tide and seascape. Salt water vanilla however is lovely! I don't usually buy a gourmand or heavy vanilla scent, but I've been trying to lean into to more recently and I really like the way these smell. I think it's the salt water aspect that I like because it makes it not too sweet and feels comforting. The product themselves: Serum deodorant- I love it! I like using it right after I shower in the evening and I feel good the next day for the most part. I've been reapplying before a workout and feel like I don't smell at all afterwards. It is pretty sticky after applying and I don't love the way that feels, but once it's dried down, it feels like nothing. Body wash- I haven't felt too much of a difference with the body washes being more hydrating than other similar brands, so I feel neutral about them. I do like the texture though. Not too gooey. Body butter- I LOVE the body butter! I haven't tried too many body butters, but the texture to me is so unique. It's thick, but bouncy and light. This is the first time I've gotten a body butter and thought it really was like butter. It glides on super smooth and is easy to rub in without a lot of effort. Body oil- This is my first time ever using a body oil so I don't really have anything to compare it to, but I've been really loving it in conjunction with the body butter. I feel like my skin has been so smooth and soft lately. Lip oil balm- This one I was really disappointed with. I got the cacao color and I feel like it sits on my lips like melted chocolate. The formula is a lot thicker than I expected and I don't love how it applies. I love brown lip shades, but this really doesn't blend well into my lips. Maybe it would be better for someone with a darker skin tone? I think I should have dried toasted instead. I would definitely buy the serum deodorant, body butter, and body oil again and skip the rest.

This is an amazing product and worth the money. The smell of the shower gels are amazing and they do not dry your skin out. They get a really great lather and my family loves showering with it. Definitely purchase.

I have used Saltair for years but only recently tried out the multi-lipid body butter, and it’s become an instant favorite. It is very hydrating and while the scents are fragrant they are not overpowering. I will definitely be adding this into my regular routine.

Saltair's Serum Deodorant in Santal Bloom really caught my eye during a casual stroll down the deodorant aisle, I’ve been searching for a natural option that works and is gentle on my sensitive skin. The scent? Absolutely heavenly. It has this soft, elegant vibe that’s hard not to love. Effectiveness-wise, I’m a bit torn. It does fine for everyday wear, but after using it consistently, my skin started to feel a little irritated. I’ve started saving it for more low-key or lazy days. For my sweaty/athletic girls, gays, and theys, this might not hold up through a full-on workout. But if you want a lighter, casual deodorant with a luxe scent, this might be your new go-to.

The skylark perfume by saltair is 10/10. The scent is light but pleasant and long lasting. It reminds me of summer, the beach and nostalgia from family trips growing up! In an effort to use clean beauty products I landed on this.
