Reviews mention

  • Elegant recyclable aluminum packaging
  • Hydrating serum body wash formulas
  • Sophisticated, complex fragrance profiles
  • Gentle, eczema-friendly cleansing performance
  • Inconsistent deodorant odor control
  • Occasionally synthetic-leaning fragrances
  • Stripping, low-lather shampoos reported
  • Fussy, dent-prone pump packaging

Saltair earns largely positive reviews for effective, hydrating body care—especially the serum body washes and multi‑lipid body butter—while its sophisticated scents like Santal Bloom, Exotic Pulp, and Black Tide delight many. Reviews also flag drawbacks: some fragrances skew light or synthetic, deodorant performance varies and can feel sticky, haircare can be stripping or under-lathering, and aluminum or pump packaging dents, leaks, or dispenses poorly.

  • I love the body wash and body oil. They're both great however I don't know if they're game changing for my skin or anything special but they're nice and I love the branding. The body oil specifically feels very luxurious.

  • I decided to try an array of products from Saltair and have been pleasantly surprised. The Santal Bloom deodorant smells heavenly, and lasts as advertised. The overnight lotion is deeply hydrating. I like to put it on in the morning versus night. The body oil is 5/10 for me. It has a mineral oil scent that I don’t like. Overall, I would reorder anything in the Santal Bloom scent.

  • Great results, scent was a miss (for me). The Saltair shampoo and conditioner actually made my hair look great — smooth, healthy, and polished. I didn’t love the Santal Bloom scent, though; on me it read a little too much like an air freshener. That said, the packaging is really upscale. I used it in a friend’s guest bathroom and it instantly made the space feel spa-like. I’d definitely try other scents.

  • This body wash is amazing and smells incredible. However the deodorant doesn’t work that well but I still would buy the body wash again and again. The smell is heavenly and it makes my whole bathroom smell amazing. I like some of the other scents too besides the Santal one.

  • I like the texture of this product. It's a little bit watery but that makes it easy to apply and spread around quickly. It soaks in well too and has no scent. I find the bottle to be a little small for a body lotion and the squeeze package is not ideal for application. I'd prefer if it had a pump or something similar for easier use.

  • I really like the texture of this serum. It's smooth and easy to apply and I don't feel like I'm torching through the entire bottle in only a few uses. A little goes a long way. The packaging is also really pretty and looks nice on my shelf. Like other reviews say, it does have a bit of a funky smell but I've found that the scent fades quickly and is easily covered up by a better scented moisturizer.

  • Saltair has been a favorite of mine for years. The exotic pulp scent is my favorite for the spring and summer. The wash is cleansing without being drying. I took a break in 2025 to try more expensive brands and honestly you’re getting the same quality for 1/3 of the price at Saltair.

  • i have a bunch of things from saltair and all of them feel indulgent. creamy, sudsy, divine scents. besides having great (+ easy to use!) packaging, everything is super affordable. so luxurious it could all be triple the price. the mini lotions are one of my fav to store in places around the house!

  • I really enjoy the overall scent level for Saltair. There is a great amount of fragrance that is not overwhelming but also stays on your body. The deodorant is super light weight but very much does its job which is lovely especially when it is warmer. Also the body oil absorbs so well into the skin.

  • Afraid to try non-traditional deodorant because of past experience but this deodorant was surprisingly good. Scent is not strong, glides on smoothly and it works. So far only tried the bloom scent. It works great for daily wear, and I have worn it for a morning jog. Just wish it was a little cheaper.

  • I've been trying out the products I got for about a week now and have some mixed feelings about everything I bought. Scent wise: I had seen a lot of hype around the seascape scent, but when I received it, I felt like the scent wasn't anything special and it just smells like soap to me. I honestly don't really smell a difference between black tide and seascape. Salt water vanilla however is lovely! I don't usually buy a gourmand or heavy vanilla scent, but I've been trying to lean into to more recently and I really like the way these smell. I think it's the salt water aspect that I like because it makes it not too sweet and feels comforting. The product themselves: Serum deodorant- I love it! I like using it right after I shower in the evening and I feel good the next day for the most part. I've been reapplying before a workout and feel like I don't smell at all afterwards. It is pretty sticky after applying and I don't love the way that feels, but once it's dried down, it feels like nothing. Body wash- I haven't felt too much of a difference with the body washes being more hydrating than other similar brands, so I feel neutral about them. I do like the texture though. Not too gooey. Body butter- I LOVE the body butter! I haven't tried too many body butters, but the texture to me is so unique. It's thick, but bouncy and light. This is the first time I've gotten a body butter and thought it really was like butter. It glides on super smooth and is easy to rub in without a lot of effort. Body oil- This is my first time ever using a body oil so I don't really have anything to compare it to, but I've been really loving it in conjunction with the body butter. I feel like my skin has been so smooth and soft lately. Lip oil balm- This one I was really disappointed with. I got the cacao color and I feel like it sits on my lips like melted chocolate. The formula is a lot thicker than I expected and I don't love how it applies. I love brown lip shades, but this really doesn't blend well into my lips. Maybe it would be better for someone with a darker skin tone? I think I should have dried toasted instead. I would definitely buy the serum deodorant, body butter, and body oil again and skip the rest.

  • This is an amazing product and worth the money. The smell of the shower gels are amazing and they do not dry your skin out. They get a really great lather and my family loves showering with it. Definitely purchase.

  • I have used Saltair's shampoo and conditioner before and really liked it for the price and the more sustainable aluminum packaging. Sustainability doesn't seem to be one of their core values anymore, which is a little disappointing, so my review for the new products I've tried is really based on efficacy, as the packaging and experience is at this point no different from any other personal care brand. I ordered the serum deodorant in driftwood vanilla to see if I'd like it as much as Necessaire's much pricier but identical product. Unfortunately, I feel like it doesn't do much. The scent is nice, but it doesn't last. I fear it was a waste. I had also added the lip oil balm to my order and surprisingly this is way more of a standout than the deodorant! It has a cloying vanilla cake scent and taste that's not my favorite, but the effect and texture on the lips is completely unique and totally stands out in a market where there are truly a gajillion identical products. So... if you're going to roll the dice on Saltair, I'd try the shower products or the lip oil balm!

  • I seriously cant rave enough about Saltairs products, I love them all, my favorite is the the golden hour! Smells so great. I own several sets, body butter, lotion body wash. The body butter is so thick and hydrating. The scents are just the right amount of scent. Not to strong but stays with you. Id love ❤️ to work with Saltair someday.

  • My sister originally got this for me as a gift and I’ve repurchased it multiple times since. This body wash makes me look forward to my shower every time. The pump packaging makes it so easy to use and the serum texture is so innovative and I totally love the feel of it - I find it lathers really well and makes me feel super clean, but it also keeps my skin moisturized. And the scents are AMAZING - I especially love the pulp and sandal ones.

  • I tried the Saltair Santal Bloom 5% AHA serum deodorant and really like it. The scent is cozy but fresh, and even though it takes a bit to dry, it doesn’t leave any residue on my clothes. It feels effective without being sticky or heavy, and I appreciate the serum format. This is the only product I’ve tried from Saltair so far, but I’m definitely curious to explore more from the brand.

  • Saltair's Serum Deodorant in Santal Bloom really caught my eye during a casual stroll down the deodorant aisle, I’ve been searching for a natural option that works and is gentle on my sensitive skin. The scent? Absolutely heavenly. It has this soft, elegant vibe that’s hard not to love. Effectiveness-wise, I’m a bit torn. It does fine for everyday wear, but after using it consistently, my skin started to feel a little irritated. I’ve started saving it for more low-key or lazy days. For my sweaty/athletic girls, gays, and theys, this might not hold up through a full-on workout. But if you want a lighter, casual deodorant with a luxe scent, this might be your new go-to.

  • This body butter is everything to me! It is so nourishing but still lightweight and doesn’t leave a greasy residue. The salt water vanilla scent is delicious and lasts so long! Applies so easily and absorbs into the skin quickly

  • I have used Saltair for years but only recently tried out the multi-lipid body butter, and it’s become an instant favorite. It is very hydrating and while the scents are fragrant they are not overpowering. I will definitely be adding this into my regular routine.

  • The skylark perfume by saltair is 10/10. The scent is light but pleasant and long lasting. It reminds me of summer, the beach and nostalgia from family trips growing up! In an effort to use clean beauty products I landed on this.
