  • This is my second time buying Rosy houseplant soil - and my plants seem to like it! They seem to always perk up a bit after adding ins some new soil. One of my favorite features of the smaller size bag I bought previously was the resealable top - so I was sad to see that the bigger bag was NOT resealable. I don't have an outdoor potting area so I would love that feature on all bag sizes to help keep things clean and tidy for indoor storage! I also purchased the cactus & succulent soil for the first time - I'm eager to see if it helps my cactuses brave the colder temps and less daylight!

  • I’m shocked by the less than a week, dramatic change our peace lily made! Through research, we learned she was not draining the water and it was just sitting at the bottom of the planter; even though we had drain holes and rocks, we feared root rot. Insert ROSY AROID SOIL TO THE RESCUE! This soil specifically helps with drainage and literally changed our houseplant almost overnight! The before and after photos speak for themselves and now I am hooked as a Rosy Soil customer. The first photo is Saturday and the next one is Monday, the droop is completely gone! Look at how tall and proud she is now!

  • Rosy Soil's big selling point is that their Houseplant Soil is peat-free, which I appreciate from an environmental standpoint. It’s clear they’ve put thought into creating a mix that’s both sustainable and good for your plants. The branding is clean and thoughtful. Somehow, like flour bags, dirt is always covering the outside of soil packaging, so the unboxing was not the most pleasant, but perhaps reimagining the packaging of granulated goods is best saved for another day. At the end of the day, it’s still dirt—good dirt, not exactly "dirt" cheap, but is a nice way to help the earth in and out of your home.

  • I didn’t know it was possible to feel this way about soil, but this soil is gorgeous 😍 my plants were in desperate need of nutrients and fresh soil. I got the bundle that included house plant soil, aroid soil, and plant food. While I love plants I’m not an expert and wasn’t sure between the house plant and aroid which would be best for my plants and because the bag descriptions overlapped a bit I decided to mix them for some plants. You can definitely see the difference between the two types so maybe a bit more help/guidance for us novices would be good. Can’t wait to see my plants thrive!!! 🌿🌱🍃

  • I love what this company is doing! Peat free nourishing soul for your house plants. No more yellow fungus growing just after repotting a plant. I have the whole range of soils - aroid is my most used but I also love having the special soil for my succulents and orchids- finally they get some fresh attention!

  • I had a plant shop recommend Rosy Soil to me a couple years ago, and I've used it ever since. I really like that it is carbon negative and pet-friendly. My plants have all stayed healthy and have made good growth progress.

  • I’m very much a beginner plant parent, and while I imagine taking care of plants is easier than caring for something that can move, it doesn’t mean there isn’t a lot to learn. Aside from watering (which my Leaflets help me with) I don’t really know what makes a good soil that helps my plants thrive. I decided to check out Rosy Soil because it seemed like a new brand and I liked their packaging. The soil inside was super dark and almost moist, unlike any other soil I’ve used before for my houseplants. The instructions on the package were very clear and helpful when it came to potting my new plant. This was my biggest plant yet and it was a bummer I had to use basically a bag and a half to pot the plant (the bags of soil are quite small). This soil is definitely on the more expensive side so it felt like a big investment right after purchasing a plant. But I did want my plant to survive! And survive it did. Out of all of my plants, the one using Rosy Soil almost never has to be watered. The plant is quite a bit bigger than the others and maybe this species doesn’t need to be watered as much, but there is a big difference that I feel is in part due to the Rosy Soil. With all that said I love this soil and I am going to soon use it to repot an existing plant I have in the hopes that I don’t have to water it as much!

  • This soil is very rich and dark. I just re-potted 4 plants so I'm excited to see how they grow but so far they are doing well. They don't need as much water and when I do water, you can tell it isn't just going straight through, instead it infiltrates and all soil gets wet. It is a dark soil so wear gloves or do it outside because it smears easily!

  • Huge fan of Rosy soil - they don't use peat moss which is SOOO much better for the environment and all my plants love it. The product is a little finer and darker than some of the other competitors but I really love the outcome. And free shipping if you buy two! Feels like a. good deal.

  • A far better alternative to the store bought big brand bags of soil, which I've found always have a gnat infestation or a fungus.. But my plants love rosy soil (I have many different types) and they seem to be doing very well! Shipping was quick and customer service was very friendly reaching out to see if I had any questions or issues with the product, Will be repurchasing.

  • This soil is excellent it is chock full of all the necessary nutrients for seed starting it contains no metals and the germination rate is excellent. I started my Gerber Daisies because they’re slow growers and the germination rate was superb. When I read the ingredients in other seed starting soils they tell you not to inhale the dust and to wear gloves when handling it (Black Gold). What the heck are these seed starting soils made of to warn you in that way? Anyway I’m sticking with Rosy’s Seed Starting formula. I was going to switch due to the fact that Rosy’s is a little chunky for seeds but I remedied that minor glitch and just run it over a fine mesh strainer. Rosy’s is top notch in my book!!!

  • An easy step in making a difference in the fight against climate change- and my plants love it!

  • You can tell that the soil is high quality as soon as you handle it. Great absorption and the plants are loving it so far!
