quip earns mixed reviews: it looks refined and travels well, but its brushing performance trails true electric rivals. Reviews praise quip’s sleek, lightweight design, mirror-mounted travel cover, timed 30‑second pulses, and hassle-free refill heads (often with batteries). Many criticize weak vibrations that act more as a timer than a cleaner, bristles that feel too stiff or wear quickly, fragile heads and motors, hard-to-remove parts, and occasional mold or gunk buildup—some dentists urge switching to oscillating or higher-powered brushes.

  • Quip's oral care products offer a refreshing take on simplicity and functionality. The electric toothbrush, with its sleek design and timed pulses, makes brushing a breeze. The replaceable brush heads and automatic refill service enhance convenience. While the toothpaste's minty freshness is invigorating, the emphasis on minimalism might not suit everyone. Quip succeeds in transforming routine oral care into an elegant experience, proving that good design and effective functionality can coexist in the realm of dental hygiene.

  • I had tried the toothbrush but felt that it could never clean my teeth well enough. Like I felt like after I brushed my teeth, I should brush them again right after. I found the bristles to be too soft to really “clean”.

  • Solid product for a relatively inexpensive toothbrush. I've owned both the plastic and metal versions of this toothbrush and I don't have any real complaints other than there are probably better options on the market at this price range. I do like the portability of the toothbrush - it comes with a case/lid that has an adhesive that you can stick on things (more likely than not a mirror) and take that with you as a brush protector. I'd say it's probably best served as an on-the-go toothbrush for vacations than as a daily driver.

  • Quip provides an electric toothbrush that is travel-friendly. I like how they have the option for automated subscription for toothbrush heads. I just didn’t find the electric toothbrush to clean as well as other brands.

  • My first Quip toothbrush broke after a couple of months - the seal connecting from the top to the bottom where you can replace the battery wasn't tight enough to keep water out. I bought another one, and that one broke too, with the same issue. When I told my dentist that I used Quip, she told me that it's a brand she tells people to avoid.

  • The Quip toothbrush is the breath of fresh air my dental routine needed. Simple, sleek, and effective. What sets Quip apart is its minimalist design. The slim, portable build makes it a travel-friendly companion, and the subtle vibrations provide a gentle yet thorough clean. The timed pulses ensure I brush for the dentist-recommended two minutes, a small but significant feature that promotes better oral hygiene. The soft bristles are gentle on gums yet manage to leave my teeth feeling squeaky clean after each use. But what really got me hooked was the subscription service. The convenience of receiving replacement brush heads and battery refills right on time eliminates the hassle of remembering when to switch them out. Quip has made oral care hassle-free and stylish. It's a no-fuss toothbrush that delivers a refreshing clean, making me look forward to brushing twice a day!

  • Quip toothbrushes are just... ok. I had a quip before I switched to sonicare. I think the intensity of the sonicare better - I feel like it gets my teeth cleaner. But if the vibration in your mouth is a sensory issue for you, then quip could be a good choice. I didn't like the automatic shipments of new heads. I like being able to keep a bunch of them on hand and change as I see fit, usually more frequently than the 3 month recommendation.

  • Decent electric toothbrush. And the subscription service is efficient and reasonably priced. I did find that after awhile the new brush head would have a harder time being replaced, and would not stay on as securely as I would have liked.

  • I really love how this product line looks, but I have issues with the longevity of them. My toothbrush stopped working after about 3 months of use.

  • Beautiful toothbrush, but not a huge fan. The electric part of the toothbrush barely has any vibration. Feels more of a manual toothbrush to me with batteries. However, it is a great sustainable option for a travel toothbrush.

  • The quip brush was a great intro to me “adulting” into the electric toothbrush era. So easy to travel with, fantastic colors, and really easy to find replaceable heads. I am not a subscription person so I do find the price of the head replacements at brick and mortar stores daunting. The biggest thing that made me break up with my quip is my dentist saying my gums looked rough from my toothbrush. When I switched to one of the recommended electric toothbrushes, my gums were fine. If quip were to update, I may come back to the brand.

  • Nice to get new brushes/floss/paste in the mail regularly. I have ADHD so this is nice to always have these tiny things on autoship. As for the quality - my first one stopped working within a month or so. They sent me a new one and it works fine. I don't know if it brushes any better than a manual brush...but i do like the way they store.

  • I feel like these don’t clean as well as a manual toothbrush. Feels very gimmicky. My teeth feel gross after using it. Way too expensive for something that feels like nothing more than a novelty.

  • I found quip electric toothbrushes to be massively underpowered. If you are coming from a standard toothbrush I could see it being an improvement but comparing it to other leading electric toothbrushes like OralB it barely does anything. I do like that the batteries and toothbrush heads are replaceable. I also found the tooth paste to be a bit chalky, something that reminds me more of a natural brand toothpaste. Some might not find that as an issue but if you are coming from a crest or scope style brand it will probably leave you wanting more

  • Overall I’m a fan! I don’t use the app anymore, it was having some Bluetooth trouble, but I like the toothbrush. I also somehow accidentally ordered a high stock of tooth brush heads, batteries and toothpaste, so I’m working my way through those.

  • I initially tried the Quip toothbrush, attracted by its sleek design and the convenience of a subscription service. However, after using it for a while, I found that it didn't meet my expectations. I felt that the cleaning power was not as effective as I needed, especially for reaching those hard-to-clean areas. The vibrations felt too gentle, and I didn't get the thorough clean I was looking for. Consequently, I switched to an Oral-B electric toothbrush, which has been a game-changer for my oral hygiene. The difference in plaque removal and overall cleanliness was immediately noticeable. The Oral-B brush provides a more vigorous cleaning action, which leaves my teeth feeling significantly cleaner. Its various brush head options and customizable settings also allow for a more tailored brushing experience. For me, Oral-B has proven to be the superior choice for maintaining my dental health.

  • I appreciate the inclusion of the mirror in the packaging, that's extremely helpful having everything you need in the packaging itself. The picking tool works ok for just one spot, but the pick does not hold the floss very tightly. The floss slips out very easily in tight spots or when using it in more than one spot.

  • I really like my quip toothbrush, but find the replacement heads to be a bit expensive for what they are. The design is sleek and its super functional, but I struggle with the cost to replace the head unfortunately.

  • Adorei a pasta de dente, super funcionou comigo.

  • I have the metal versions of these for my kids. I don't think I'm giving up my sonicare for them anytime soon, but the handy subscription means that they get a new battery and brush head on a regular basis. And my youngest loves the watermelon toothpaste.
