quip earns mixed reviews: it looks refined and travels well, but its brushing performance trails true electric rivals. Reviews praise quip’s sleek, lightweight design, mirror-mounted travel cover, timed 30‑second pulses, and hassle-free refill heads (often with batteries). Many criticize weak vibrations that act more as a timer than a cleaner, bristles that feel too stiff or wear quickly, fragile heads and motors, hard-to-remove parts, and occasional mold or gunk buildup—some dentists urge switching to oscillating or higher-powered brushes.

  • I have been using my quip for years and like the design. Before using quip I had only used a manual toothbrush so I still in my head use it as electric but also combine those motions with the ones of a manual toothbrush. The concept of online ordering is very convenient and as I have used the company they have become more sustainable and creative. They have come out with new products and adapted to their customers.

  • I love my toothbrush! the timer is a game changer, I definitely was not brushing my teeth for a while two minutes before but I have noticed such a difference. it's so nice to not have to worry about when to change my battery or toothbrush, I just get a new one in the mail!

  • The connection between the battery base and the brush is weak and over time bends and eventually breaks due to the brushing motion. Only lasts a few months, poor design.

  • I got sucked into buying products from this brand by the millennial-friendly packaging ... and my teeth suffered! The toothbrush simply does not do a good job and is nothing like the Sonicare I use now instead. My dentist even noticed a difference and asked what I was using to brush my teeth, then told me he does NOT recommend Quip and to get a Sonicare. I was intrigued by the eco-friendliness and ease of the refillable floss handle so I picked one up. It was incredibly hard to use and broke before I was even able to successfully floss one tooth. I'm honestly shocked that product made it through quality control and got onto shelves in the first place.

  • I think quip gets a few things right. I love their toothpaste and mouthwash (will repurchase), however the toothbrush is a bit to be desired. I’ve had to buy multiple because they’ve stopped working. Don’t buy the toothbrush but perhaps the rest of their products are worth a shot!

  • I have a battery powered Quip toothbrush. The power button can be difficult to press. I wish it was a little more powerful but overall it’s a great travel toothbrush.

  • I loved using this brush as it’s a great alternative to regular toothbrushes, however I had a really hard time with replacing the head of the brush which made it a little frustrating for me. However, it is a good toothbrush that cleans your teeth well.

  • Recently purchased the smart brush to encourage super consistent and worthwhile brushing. Love that it connects to my phone for tracking and is rechargeable. Reusable floss pick is amazing, so much less wasteful. Does try to stick you with a subscription, but cancellations seem easy.

  • Quip is a great option for affordable electric toothbrushes, and the size is perfect for travel!

  • Overall like this product. I wish it was easier/cheaper to buy the refill heads in bulk.

  • I think quip is a great starting point for those who are new to electric brushes. i've heard that these are not as helpful as the higher end ones, because these only vibrate and don't have a rotating brush head. However, I found these useful as the buy-in cost is pretty low, and the profile is slim and easy to pack for travel. It's also great that it doesn't need a charging stand and just takes batteries. I used one for about a year before it ended up breaking down, and contacted customer service for a replacement. Since I purchased through amazon, it was difficult to get a response so I gave up and ended up upgrading to an Oral B electric toothbrush.

  • I think the concept of quip is really great. I appreciate how small the size is compared to other electric toothbrushes and the ease of traveling with it. The subscription was nice as it forced me to replace the head, but in the end i found it didn't clean as well as other electric toothbrushes, left plaque behind and it just has a lot of plastic that adds to the landfill with packaging and the heads. I'm switching this to be my travel toothbrush as its more compact and I also don't know how to dispose of it safely.

  • Not great quality compared to other electric toothbrush brands. Keeps braking.

  • I think it’s a great toothbrush that looks great. I love the timed session to remind you to move areas of your mouth

  • Quip toothbrush is a game-changer for your daily routine. Sleek design, timed vibrations, and hassle-free refills make it a no-brainer. It's the perfect combo of style and functionality to level up your oral care game

  • I love Quip! The kit comes with a holder for your new electric toothbrush that sticks to the bathroom. mirror for easy convenience. The toothbrush itself has one setting with the perfect amount of vibration for gentle cleansing. I got a Quip kit for Christmas last year, The brand sells new heads for your toothbrush so you can easily replace them every 3-6 months as recommended. Would Highly recommend!
