Reviews mention

  • Vibrant, flavorful profiles
  • Crisp, refreshing carbonation
  • Appealing, playful packaging
  • Versatile, mocktail-friendly drink
  • Noticeable stevia aftertaste
  • Inconsistent flavor execution
  • Occasionally low carbonation
  • Polarizing cola and root beer

Poppi earns largely positive reviews as a satisfying soda alternative that tastes close to the real thing—standouts include Raspberry Rose, Strawberry Lemon, Orange, Ginger Lime, Doc Pop, Classic Cola, and Cherry Limeade—while many praise the light, crisp fizz and perceived gut-friendly prebiotic/ACV benefits. Reviews also flag weaknesses: a noticeable stevia or “diet” aftertaste in some flavors, variability by flavor (cola/root beer polarizing), occasional flatness or low carbonation, and that several drinkers don’t feel meaningful gut effects.

  • Doc Pop is my fav! It's a way better version of Dr. Pepper and doesn't have all of the sugar and caffeine that regular soda has. I gave up soda a while ago, but occasionally will allow a Poppi. It is a great treat!

  • I love poppi! I've had almost all of their flavors and it makes me so happy. I always feel so much better and less bloated when I drink poppi everyday and I love that it helps me get a dose of apple cider vingear and all the health benefits

  • So far I’ve only tried the Cherry Limeaid flavor. It’s okay as a low sugar soda option. I don’t like stevia but I didn’t find the stevia taste overpowering. I would order this flavor again for around the winter holidays. It’s kind of festive in packaging and taste.

  • I don't like the flavors offered very much. I prefer Olipop and their classic soda flavors much more than the ones that Poppi offers. To me, Poppi is more like sparkling water. That being said, I like the brand's mission.

  • Unfortunately, I am slightly allergic to apples, so I cannot drink a lot of Poppi. But I absolutely loved their lemon-lime flavor and think it is such a tasty alternative to sodas.

  • It tastes like soda, but seems a bit healthier. Much more flavor/sweetness than what you would get from a Seltzer. They variety of flavors is nice, too. I usually keep a couple of these in my fridge at all times!

  • This is a nice and refreshing. I have been cutting down on soda but Poppi’s are a nice treat when I’m craving a soda. I like all of the flavors I’ve tried so far and they aren’t hard to find at many retailers.

  • I eat a lot of foods and drink beverages with natural probiotics, and was excited to add Poppi to my diet. While they tasted great, they definitely created some digestive issues for me that I don't normally experience with other priobiotics. I stopped drinking them after a week, and gave away the rest of them.

  • I really wanted to like this but I’ve found that I just really dislike fake or alternative sweeteners across the board. I’d rather have real sugar than fake sweet (or a tart drink instead of soda in general)

  • Poppi is a refreshing and flavorful prebiotic soda that’s great for gut health. The taste is light and not overly sweet, with unique flavors like Raspberry Rose and Strawberry Lemon. It’s a healthier alternative to traditional sodas, but the apple cider vinegar base can be a bit strong for some. Overall, it’s a fun, fizzy drink with added health benefits!

  • Poppi is the perfect alternative to sugary sodas! With its prebiotic ingredients, it’s not only refreshing but also great for your gut health. The flavors, like Raspberry Rose and Apple Cider Vinegar, are unique and tasty without being overly sweet. I love that it gives me the fizzy satisfaction of soda but without the sugar crash afterward. It’s a win for both my taste buds and my digestive system—highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy a healthier, more flavorful beverage! 🌿💧

  • tbh none of the flavors taste good to me! I really wanted to like it & I've tried so many different flavors, but idk I just couldn't get behind it. cute packaging tho

  • I'm not much of a soda drinker, but Poppi converted me. I don't like how sweet conventional sodas are and I don't like the taste of the fake sweetened ones. I love kombucha, but Poppi has the same prebiotic elements without being as tart-tasting for when you're not in the mood. The flavors are unique and delicious. My favorite is the raspberry rose. You can't find that combination anywhere else. It's addictive!

  • Poppi is an amazing healthy prebiotic soda. I have been drinking it for months now and it is the new soda/seltzer for me. I recommend this product to everyone I know!

Received a free product from Poppi
  • I love Poppi! Especially the new flavors they've been releasing. I love getting prebiotics and having a healthier "fun" drink. My one complaint is I wish they had less stevia. I wouldn't mind if they were a little less sweet if it meant it didn't have the stevia aftertaste.

  • I love the taste and variety of the products and it is eyecatchy on market self so always easy to find it

    Friends with Poppi
  • ADDICTED. I know there have been comments on this one, but the taste is awesome. I love every flavor. I mostly love them because there are more fun flavors than the standard "soda" flavors.

  • Poppi is fine. It succeeds in being a "healthier" soda alternative. I am skeptical of the quantity needed to be consumed to truly positively affect one's gut biome though. Prebiotics and probiotics are supposed to work together, but Poppi is allegedly just the former. It is a good-tasting beverage though, which is why it's still worthy of 4 to 4.5 stars out of five. Not five because their marketing/claims are tough to believe.

  • I’ve enjoyed every flavor of Poppi I’ve tried! The price is a little higher than a normal can of carbonated drink, but this is GOOD for you! I know my gut could use it😅

  • This is my favorite brand of “healthier” sodas. I think the cherry limeade flavor is my favorite, but all the flavors are really good. The raspberry rose flavor tastes like a jolly rancher to me, in a good way.
