Reviews mention

  • Elegant, modern aesthetic cookware
  • Thoughtful, integrated design features
  • Easy, low-effort cleaning
  • Versatile, multiuse functionality
  • Inconsistent nonstick coating longevity
  • Stain-prone, chip-prone exterior
  • Uncomfortably hot, bulky handles
  • Poor high-heat searing performance

Our Place earns polarized reviews: the Always Pan and Perfect Pot look stunning, clean easily, and the integrated spatula rest, steamer baskets, and thoughtful lid-strainer design impress, but durability falters—nonstick coatings often degrade within months, exteriors stain and chip, handles run hot, and high heat ruins performance. Reviews affirm the brand can work well with careful, low-to-medium heat use and gentle cleaning, yet many cooks report uneven longevity and prefer stainless or cast iron for lasting sear and reliability.

  • I have about $500 worth of Our Place products in my kitchen, I love this cookware for being so adorable, but oh my god, they will deteriorate if you actually use them. The pan that I have is so disgustingly black and charred on the bottom, and I have burned my hand on the handle many times. For the price point - I would not repurchase any of these things.

  • We have had the OurPlace pan for 3 years and it's still good as new, I love the pop of colour it gives to our kitchen, it's so easy to clean and it's a great size. We also have 8 of the water glasses in multi color and constantly get asked where we got them whenever we host. The website is easy to use and the brand is one I'm stoked to support and encourage friends to do the same!

  • when i first got my ourplace i was IN LOVE. a few months later my husband used it to make chicken and ruined the bottle of the pan from the heat. i didn’t have this issue prior but after that every sellable feature (aesthetic, non stick) was ruined. he replaced it and I found similar degradation occurred in less than 6 months. highly disappointing

  • Thought the Always Pan was overhyped, but turns out I’m just a hater. Other than some natural staining from use, this pan is easy to keep clean and a versatile tool to have in your collection.

  • The Our Place pan is aesthetically pleasing and innovative in concept. However, it falls short on quality. After a few uses, the non-stick coating started chipping and the bottom discolored from heat. Despite its good looks and multi-use design, the pan could use better durability and improved materials.

  • While obviously aesthetically beautiful, this pan falls short in terms of overall functionality. For some background context, I've had my original pan for a couple years now, and recently acquired the "cast iron" pan. The pans itself need to be babied a lot to preserve their functionality - recommended to be handwashed for longevity, always put on low to medium heat, etc. The "cast iron" definitely isn't going to be anywhere near the quality of Le Crueset or even Lodge. I do like the various add ons that make the pan more functional, such as the bamboo basket, the steamer, the place to rest the spoon while cooking, etc, but the pan itself has definitely not preserved it's non-stickiness as much as other comparable pans, like Caraway.

  • Unfortunately the colour that arrived was not the same as the colour in their photos. I couldn't replace my order due to some out of stock items so I ended up having to do a return. Customer service was lovely though.

  • Full disclosure I got the always pan at the thrift for $10.

Overall it’s versatile and I like that it comes with a lid. Would I pay $135 for this? I just don’t know.

  • Perfect gift for a registry. It gives luxury, aesthetic, and overall high-quality products. A great addition to a kitchen, and love the color selection!

  • Lol I feel like we all got psyop'd into buying this pan. It was good for a solid 4 months and just went downhill from there. The brand does have a great look and feel though.

  • Love the color, the pan doesn't hold up even if you take care of it.

The material inside becomes damaged easily.

  • I love their customer service, very friendly and solutions driven on any issue I’ve had in the past. I have the pan, bamboo steamer, and the ceramic plates. The non stick pan was initially great, but overtime it lost its non stick, but is still fine when I use more oil. I’ve been very careful with washing and heat temperature so it’s a little disappointing with the non stick. However it’s still a great pan and I love the accessories

  • This is my FAVORITE pan! I now can't live without it. I use fewer oils to cook, and it cleans up nicely. I have had mine for about 2.5 years already and it's still great! I am hoping to get the new Tangine pan that they just announced.

I wish they would offer a discount on the other products/pieces they have when you are purchasing the pan. I would likely purchase more. Advice for people looking at this brand- you will not regret your purchase as long as you use it the way it was intended. Do not put PAM on it - it will ruin it. I had a friend of mine do that to hers and the nonstick is now sticky. The instructions tell you NOT to do this.

  • For the cost and hype, I expected a higher-quality product. Sadly, my Always pan underdelivered - the non-stick coating started chipping within the first 2 months of use, and this can't be used in the oven. I was hoping this would last me for a lot longer. Looks cute though.

  • After seeing the Always pan all over social media, I finally caved and purchased one on sale. While it looked nice on my stovetop, I was disappointed to discover that the non-stick coating lasted only a few months despite me following the company's instructions when cooking & cleaning it. After <8 months, I had to add so much cooking oil to even prevent an egg from sticking which defeated the purpose of the pan. I didn't think it was worth the price or the hype, despite looking nice. I have not tried other products from the brand.

Non-stick coating should last longer or the price should come down

  • I've had the always pan and some of their dishware for over a year and love it! I use the pan almost every day and have had no issues with the non-stick or it getting burnt around the sides. However, I am careful to only use on medium/low heat!

    Feedback

    A little heavy.

  • Love love love my Always pan. It is the perfect size for most things and the notch for the spatula should be standard feature on every pot ever. The nonstick of course has worsened with time but it still remains one of my favorite pans to use. Definitely get the bamboo steaming baskets as an add on.

    Feedback

Adding more utensils with a hole that can rest on the handle: whisk, spoon, etc.

  • I love these pans and I will die on that hill! I've seen some negative reviews of them, but I think it's important to note the limitations of this pan before buying. It can't go in the over (really only cast iron pans can), and it should not go in the dishwasher (do people actually put their pans/pots in the dishwasher...?). However I have had 2 Always pans for a year and a half now, and the Perfect Pot for 7 months and I adore them all. They are truly non-stick, sometimes I don't even use an oil! They're beautiful, well made and their customer service is UNMATCHED. It IS worth the money!

  • I initially liked to cook with it but I realized the pans nonstick quality quickly diminished. I was using the pan according to the instructions the entire time and my food still stuck. The pan is aesthetically pleasing. It is quite functional with the steamer basket. As someone who cooks at least 5 days out the week I tend to choose my other pans compared to my Always Pan.

  • I got an Our Place pan as a Christmas gift from my friend and it is,,not the best pan I will say. Aesthetically, I only like the color. Design-wise, terrible design that it marks off for aesthetics. This pan heats up FAST and it gets HOT, the lid of this pan will get extremely hot and you only have that little knob to put it down. It is also very hollow, so it makes a loud noise when you put it down on the counter (similar to dropping an empty aluminum waterbottle on the ground). It is HEAVY, hot and heavy? It's a design disaster. The non-stick coating does not work well and this is mostly a pan for ~very light stir frying~ or boiling water and making ramen~ Do not try to cook a steak on this as the pan surface will stick to everything.

Better nonstick lining, better lid, more lightweight, color should not compromise quality.
