OLAPLEX earns polarized reviews: it visibly strengthens and revives bleached or damaged hair—No. 3 Hair Perfector, No. 6 Bond Smoother, No. 7 Bonding Oil, and the 4P Purple Shampoo are frequent standouts—yet many users report dryness, heaviness, or even increased shedding and brittleness if overused. The brand is praised for salon-clean scent, rich lather, and fast toning, but criticized for inconsistent results across hair types and small, hard-to-dispense bottles.

Hands down one of my favorite brands as a stylist. This brand has saved my hair many of times and my clients. I love the smell, packaging and overall performance of this brand. The purple shampoo is out of this world and so is there no. 3 bond mask. Amazing brand and amazing products! Highly recommend

Absolutely love this product !!! My hair has never been healthier, smoother and softer. It’s is definitely worth the money. A little goes a long way. I will never change Olaplex for another hair product. Have most the set.

Lucky me I have been dying my hair from grey to black for over a decade. Ive also tried blonde more times then id like to admit. With all this my hair has not had the healthiest life. My hairstylist always used olaplex to save whatever health it had. In recent years Ive purchased the products and they have helped me keep shiny healthy hair. No3 Hear perfector and No. 9 serum are my two favorite.

Some of the products aren't the safest for our bodies so I limit the amount I use. I wish some of the chemicals were safer.

I recently tried Olaplex No. 6, and it's fantastic! It makes my hair feel so smooth and manageable. A little goes a long way, and it really helps reduce frizz. Plus, it has a nice, subtle scent. Highly recommend for anyone looking to improve their hair's health and appearance!

I’ve been using Olaplex products the past 3 years and they really do help strengthen the bonds within the hair fibers to make hair healthier and stronger. I regularly color/highlight my hair and also use heat styling tools which are both harmful to my hair. When used together, the No. 0 intensive bond building hair treatment and the No. 3 hair perfector are powerhouses for being able to repair and strengthen my damaged hair.

I have short, natural hair that I chose to bleach. It became brittle and dry, using this conditioner save my hair. It's now thriving and manageable. Would definitely recommend! This is the perfect conditioner for a person that uses heating tools daily. Protects hair and doesn’t require additional sprays and serums for hair on top of this. Use daily with shampoo. Lasts a long time!

This is the absolute best clarifying shampoo that I have ever used, it removes all the buildup from your hair and leaves your hair feeling clean, not weighed down. I have very thick hair and the amount I use is no larger than a quarter. I use this once or twice a week so the bottle lasts forever!

I had super damaged and dry hair before I started using OLAPLEX, I have the bond shampoo and the conditioner which made my hair super super soft with a silky clean finish. I also have the purple enhancing toning shampoo which works miracles as my hair is coloured and it makes my hair look fresh out of the salon!! Amazing products worth the money!!

If you are looking for a high-quality, leave-in hair oil that can repair, protect, and hydrate your hair, I highly recommend Olaplex Bonding Oil. It is especially well-suited for those with dry, damaged, or color-treated hair.

Loved this for my damaged hair! After using the shampoo, conditioner and bond my gair looks so much healthier than ever 💕 I totally recommend

My go-to to reduce brassiness, revive my hair, and combat split ends! While it’s on the pricier side, I have found it is worth every dollar. Honorable mention to the N3 Hair Perfector, perfect for fixing my hair up after beach days!

The only product that I have bought so far from Olaplex is the No. 7 Bonding Oil and I honestly think it’s an ok product. I’ve had better oils in my hair that actually feel like it smooths my hair out but when I but this oil in I feel my hair isn’t that much different maybe only slightly. I may need to keep trying it and use it continuously to see if it actually works but I’ve had some really good hair oils that do wonders compared to this.

Olapex is absolute worth the price & the hype. I use the N°4C, N°5/ N°8 during all wash my days. Absolute faves. N°4C is a clarifier, so I use that once a month, °5 to deep condition when I'm lazy & °8 is when my hair is crying for help 😆 Lolol, I love Olapex, you've found a loyal customer in me! ( below is a wash & go video where I also used Olapex!)

I’m a brunette and have been dying my hair blonde for 10 years. I’m convinced that No. 3 is responsible for my healthy platinum hair.

I could talk about Olaplex all day! My hair has NEVER felt better despite the constant bleach and toners. The purple shampoo keeps it bright (providing you don't leave it on for too long!) and the conditioner keeps it soft. I truly believe it's worth the price too as you only need a tiny amount!

I love the No 1-3! I’m a hairstylist, so I use No.1 & 2 in my salon. I recommend it to my curl clients with color, lightened hair and/or fine strands for extra strengthening support. As for the other products… I’m not a fan. It feels very heavy even though a little goes a long way.

Love everything I have tried so far. The No 3 is amazing for repairing my color treated hair. The No 4C is great for clarifying my scalp after wearing my hair in protective styles like box braids for 2 months straight. It helps detox the scalp from excess product build up and dry scalp. I especially love the new No 4D Dry Shampoo. I didn't even think dry shampoo would be good for me but it actually really helps refresh my braids after the gym in between washes.

I have tried almost all of the products from Olaplex and have varied opinions on them. I think Olaplex overall is a solid brand. If you don't want to do the research for hair care products and use entirely Olaplex, I think that is totally fine. I have however found better brands for Shampoo and Conditioner that I personally prefer and are more cost effective. The one product that I do recommend from Olaplex is the N3 Bond Repair. I learned from Abbey Yung's TikTok (trichologist in training) that this a holy grail product and I do agree. Abbey emailed Olaplex directly to confirm how to use and they did email back different instructions than is on the back of the package, which is frustrating. The steps are 1. Shampoo 2. Apply N3 on damp hair and let sit for 30-45 minutes (that's when it reaches peak effectiveness) 3. Shampoo and Conditioner like normal. Again, frustrating they emailed this information but didn't put it on the bottle, but the before and after pictures of people who use this are very good.

This saved my hair. I have bleached my hair and it felt fried, like straw. But after a few treatments of No 3, it is healthy and bouncy as ever. I am a customer for life.

Olaplex has given me my hair back! I suffered from a lot of breakage from coloring and was recommended Olaplex through my sylist (shampoo, conditioner, purple shampoo and the hair perfector). One year later, my hair is finally growing out without breakage and seems SO much healthier. I will not be switching to anything else anytime soon and want to try out more products!
