  • love this oil, which opened me up to the brand overall. high-quality and seem to really make a difference in my hair health. you only need a few shakes of the oil to apply to lengths of damp hair, so it lasts a while.

  • I have tried so many hair oils over the past 10 years. I have tons of favorites tons of hits and tons of misses and I would say that this hair oil falls in between a lot of categories. If you have oily fine hair similar to myself this oil is just super light. It’s lightweight goes on and dries very quickly so that’s nice but I don’t notice the bonding properties that are supposed to happen with it. It’s supposed to reduce frizz and flyaways, and Is a heat protector up to 450°. You would have to use a ton of this oil for it to be a real heat protector so I don’t count it for that and I don’t notice a ton of reduced frizz.

  • I really love this oil; already repurchased it several times and will continue doing so. It leaves my hair with a beautiful shine, feeling nourished and not heavy like other hair oils. A little goes a long way. Smells super pleasant, not overpowering at all. Only downside is that it leaks sometimes when traveling, so I always put it in extra paper towels and zip locks.

  • I got this in a hair health kit from Sephora and was shocked at how small the bottle was. Once I started using it, I realized it was small but mighty and would last forever. Great smell and really tames down the hair.

  • I’m in love with this! Ever since I found it, I can’t imagine my hair routine without it. It makes my hair incredibly soft and silky. I’ve tried other products after finishing it, but nothing even comes close. Truly a must-have!

  • The Olaplex No.7 Bonding Oil has been a holy grail for my hair—lightweight, glossy, and never greasy. It smooths frizz, adds shine, and makes my ends feel instantly healthier. I love how it layers without buildup and works beautifully on damp or dry hair. That said, I’ve recently learned about past concerns over ingredients like lilial, a fragrance compound once linked to hormone disruption. While Olaplex has since removed it from their formulas, it’s something I stay mindful of when choosing long-term staples. Still, performance-wise, this oil is hard to beat.

  • I didn’t realize how much I’d love this little bottle (olaplex bonding oil) until I started using it. Yeah, it’s tiny, but you seriously need the smallest drop each time, so it lasts forever. I’ve used it well over 10 times and it barely looks touched. It makes my hair feel insanely smooth, takes away frizz, and I like knowing it’s actually protecting my hair too. So far, really impressed, definitely worth it.

  • I have used the hair mask and hair oil and I've found that they work really well. Especially the hair oil! I've purchased multiple bottles and have recommended it to a bunch of my friends. It works great esp since I have a dry scalp.

  • I have very thick, coarse hair that is just wavy enough to look frizzy if not blow dried. I also get highlights often. Olaplex is the only shampoo and conditioner that actually makes my hair soft and somewhat manageable. I bought the liter size of both, which cost about $90 each. But the product is so rich and concentrated that I think these bottles will last me almost a year. I also love the leave-in conditioner and the oil. Plus, it smells great!

  • I have completely changed my tune when it comes to this line. Frustratingly I spent a few years investing in their products and not getting the results others with hair similar to mine swore by. I have type 3C / 4A curls and like to wear my hair curly volumized and on the longer side. I like a little bit of frizz but within reason. So when I first started using olaplex I only use the shampoo conditioner and the number eight mask and couldn't understand why when I would follow with my regular products my hair didn't look like my friend's hair did. Overtime I learned that it really does require the whole line if you're looking for damage reversal like me. I use number 013 now every two weeks I follow them with four and five in the shower. Afterward I actually leave my number eight mask overnight. I rinse it out the next day and use the 67 and 9:00 all together so the concoction that I used to style My curls is about 35% number 6 35% number 9 and about 30% number 7 the serum. I sometimes will go over a week without washing which is great for My curls and I'll freshen it up with Ouidad leave in conditioner and olaplex 7 bonding oil to reset and I'm good to go. My hair has gotten so much healthier, prettier, longer since I have been following the olaplex steps as listed on their website especially not overdoing it with zero and three and following instructions as to whether hair should be damp or dry and whatnot. It really works if you work it ;) P.s. they make it super easy to try their products before purchasing full size and offer trial/travel sizes for most of them as well as sets that tend to combine the perfect products together.

  • I got this as a free gift from Sephora, super tiny, but I have had it for months. I apply it regularly but yet I still have more than half which is amazing. One good note is that it does not have a bad smell.

  • The Olaplex Bonding oil worked so well in my hair. I have long, curly hair and it left it soft with no frizz. I used a straightener and it helped keep my hair from being frizzy or having fly aways. The scent was pleasant and minimal.

  • I used this bonding oil one time and it made my fine hair feel very brittle and it caused more hair fall out than with my normal shampoo. I returned the product to Nordstrom . I would not recommend. But maybe it just wasn’t for me.

  • ✨ Obsessed with my hair's new best friend: Olaplex No. 7 Bonding Oil! ✨ I can’t get over how shiny and soft it makes my locks feel without weighing them down. A few drops are all it takes to tame frizz, add incredible shine, and protect against heat styling. Plus, it's perfect for any hair type! Whether I'm wearing my hair natural or styling up a storm, this little bottle of magic has got me covered. It's like liquid gold for your strands—have you tried it yet? Let me know your thoughts below! 💛

  • This is a high-end luxury hair care looking feels great and it goes and applies. Well I appreciate it that combination for shampoo conditioner, and bonding oil. I think it makes for a really strong hair routine but of course for the price. I don’t use that every time.

  • Olaplex is definitely a well-known brand in the hair care world, and I can see why. The Bond Builder treatment (No. 3) has definitely helped with my hair’s overall strength and shine, and it’s been great for reducing some of the damage from coloring. I’ve noticed my hair feels smoother after each use, and it does a solid job of improving texture. That said, I wasn’t as blown away as I expected. While it does help, it’s not a miracle worker, especially when it comes to severe damage. The price point is also pretty steep for the size of the bottles, so it feels like more of a splurge than an everyday product. Plus, I wasn’t crazy about the scent — it’s a little too neutral for me. Overall, Olaplex is a good product and works well for maintenance, but I’m not sure it’s the holy grail for everyone. It’s worth trying if your hair is moderately damaged, but don’t expect instant, dramatic results.

  • This really brings out natural curls easily! My mom just found out her hair is actually naturally curly, and just putting a bit of this on her damp hair, scrunching it, and then diffusing/air drying gives her really lovely well-defined natural curls. Super easy to use, and the results lasted for a couple of days on her (basically until she washed her hair again). Definitely would recommend!

  • Olaplex seriously saved my hair! I have very fine hair prone to easily breaking. I could never find a product that made it stronger but was also light enough not to leave my hair looking weighed down. The combination of these products have made all the difference. My hair looks and feels healthier!

  • I tried the viral hair oil and I wasn’t super impressed. For one it’s very yellow so if you have platinum hair, do not use as it will taint it. it’s a little liquidy. I put it on my hair and it makes my hair feel fine but nothing out of the ordinary or results that could be obtained a cheaper brand. I like the innovative quality and packaging. You don’t have to use much either just a couple drops. it’s good for a deep nourishment as it is an oil. I use this as needed with my hair and tips feel dry

  • I’ve only tried Olaplex’s bonding oil, and I originally got a tiny bottle as a free sample with a Sephora purchase. Honestly? This little bottle has lasted forever—and it seriously works so well. I love using it when my hair feels dry or frizzy, and it always helps smooth everything out without weighing my hair down. It also doubles as a heat protectant, which is a huge plus. I use it sparingly, and even though the bottle is tiny, it’s lasted me months. Whenever I finally run out, I definitely plan on purchasing the full size. From my experience, it’s an amazing product that does exactly what it claims to do.
