Reviews mention

  • Refined, natural-leaning fragrances
  • Gentle, sensitive-skin formulas
  • Smooth, comfortable application
  • Attractive, sustainable packaging
  • Inconsistent odor protection longevity
  • White residue and shirt staining
  • Occasional gritty, sticky texture
  • Body wash sometimes feels drying

Native earns praise for clean ingredients, standout scents (Coconut & Vanilla, Cucumber & Mint, Lilac & White Tea, Citrus & Herbal Musk) and comfortable, non-irritating wear for many, but reviews say performance is inconsistent: the deodorant often fades by midday, struggles in heat/workouts, can leave white residue or shirt stains, and some experience rashes or gritty texture. Reviews of body wash and hair care skew positive for gentle lather and pleasant aromas, though a few find body wash drying and shampoos underwhelming. Overall, Native is a good natural option if you don’t sweat heavily and will reapply; heavy sweaters may need stronger protection.

  • Well I truly appreciate the portable deodorant options they have, I've tried to different scents by native over the course of a few years and I won't be repurchasing. Although they use less toxic ingredients some of their components are not pure. I assume that's why it's a little bit more affordable than other natural deodorant lines. The fragrances are probably what my skin didn't like but I believe the main issue was that I was still sweating profusely and while the scent masked my natural body scent I developed the rash due to the moisture in my armpits. I had to use a steroid to get rid of it and since then I've been choosier with my deodorant.

  • For aluminum-free deodorant, Native is okay. The scents are nice, but the lasting power isn't as great as other brands I've tried. You will need to reapply throughout the day. However, the ingredients are minimal, so it hasn't irritated my skin.

  • When I am not working remote and I go into an office I do tend to get self conscious around people so just to be safe I use the orange label native deordant and it smells nice but not like a baby wipe which I don’t get why people still use baby wipe smelling stuff. Not this !

  • Smells great and doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin

  • I wanted this work so badly but unfortunately it doesn't and it's quite chalky too

  • I love the shampoo and conditioner! There are so many yummy scents to choose from and it’s not expensive at all. The ingredients used to be good but now they aren’t the best.

  • I recently tried Native's Lavender & Rose deodorant, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations! The natural lavender scent is soothing and refreshing, without being too overpowering. It's the perfect balance of floral and clean. One of the things I love most about this deodorant is that it's free of aluminum, parabens, and harsh chemicals, which makes it feel much gentler on my skin compared to other brands. In terms of effectiveness, Native has done a great job. It kept me feeling fresh throughout the day, even during some light exercise. While it might not hold up as well during intense workouts, for everyday use, it's reliable. The smooth, creamy texture glides on effortlessly and leaves no sticky residue. If you're looking for a clean, natural deodorant with a calming fragrance, Native’s Lavender & Rose is definitely worth trying!

  • Native body wash totally nails it with its sick lather and how fresh it makes you feel. The scents are decent, nothing super exciting, but it leaves your skin feeling minty fresh and hydrated. I'll totally grab it when it's on sale, but I won't go out of my way to grab it when I'm low on my favorite products.

  • I love Native's products, especially their deodorant. I really want to use Native's products because the ingredients are simple and good for you. The sensitive deodorant didn't bother my skin due to the lack of baking soda in the formula. However, I just cannot afford them...it's so sad because I love their products. If you can afford them, I'd say it's worth the money, but I just can't justify the price for something as simple as deodorant. :(

  • Great clean deodorant, perfect for everyday use.

  • The unscented deodorant gave my armpits a rash and made them so itchy. Bizarre.

  • This was my first experience with natural deodorant but I never liked the feeling. I thought it protected well but it was too creamy and left residue.

  • Native is my new fave deodorant and I love all the fun, limited scents that come out. I appreciate the plastic-free versions as well.

  • I love the Native scents. I have used Native deodorant for years, and it feels great on my skin. I love the mini options for travel, and I have never had any issues with it. I also love that I can get so many beauty options with the same scent!

  • I LOVE their bodywash. All the scents smell amazing and don't leave any sort of annoying residue. However sadly the natural deodorants didn't quite work for me. The original strains were too harsh, giving me painful rashes underneath my armpits (kept the smell away though). Then the "gentle" versions stopped the rashes, but then didn't help with the smell sadly.

  • I have sensitive skin and this brand helps my skin.

  • The packaging is simple but affective. I’d say I’m not a fan of the texture, it left white marks. Smelt delicious but didn’t keep my underarms free from perspiration.

  • Bought body wash twice now. Just feel good after shower, very refreshing!

  • Super cool products!
