Native earns praise for its clean ingredients, abundant scents like Coconut & Vanilla and Eucalyptus & Mint, and body wash that lathers without stripping; reviews also note the deodorant can work well for light, everyday use. However, many reviews report weak longevity, odor breakthrough on hot or active days, staining and residue, gritty or sticky texture, and occasional skin irritation or rashes—even with the sensitive line—so heavy sweaters may need to reapply or look elsewhere.

I have used their deodorant and it is pretty good for a natural deodorant. I switched to a natural deodorant a couple years ago and have tested many different formulas now. Native is one of the best of the formulas that I have tested. On a very hot day, it is not going to work as well as a deodorant with aluminum, but for the most part it does do the job.The cucumber mint is my favorite scent, but I like the coconut vanilla as well. The mini size is great to throw in a purse for reapplication, especially on a hot day when it is very much needed!

This is an aluminum and baking soda free deodorant. It's also a sensitive deodorant. The scent is piece of cake. I did not like this deodorant. I didn't like the smell. . It had a sweet scent and it was very strong and I smelled it everytime I raised my arms. It also made my armpits sticky.

I’m a huge fan of Native’s body washes, especially the Citrus and Herbal Musk and Ocean and Timber. It’s easiest a go-to body wash and has such a pleasant smell and doesn’t dry out my sensitive skin at all. I love that it’s available in multiple stores and is at a reasonable price. The only reason I gave an 8 instead of a 10 is that I did have a reaction to the Citrus and Herbal Musk deodorant I tried. I mentioned that my skin is sensitive and that could be the reason, however, I do use the same scent body wash and the question was about the brand, not the body wash. I would give the body wash a 10, and definitely recommend it!

I'm stunned by how much I ended up liking Native's aluminum-free deodorant because I honestly have never had much luck with aluminum free deoderants! This one doesn't leave my underarms feeling sticky or full of white residue AND it actually works. Most of the ones I've previously tried either just completely left me with gross and sticky underarms, or just straight up did not help with B.O :/ this one is sooo good and effective, and afforable!

My husband loves his Native deodorant. I’ve tried to get him to use aluminum and paraben free for years, but he didn’t like any of them, claiming they don’t work. He says this one controls both sweat and odor. Just wish they wouldn’t use “fragrance” and could switch to a natural alternative.

Their body wash is just like any other regular body wash. I'm not impressed with anything special, particularly for it being more expensive than others. Also, the smells have an odd base scent that I don't like.

I didn't find the deodorant sinks in very well and feels oily. No irritation from usage. Smells are nice but I personally find they get tiring over time. I would recommend to try and see if it is for you, however I've decided I won't repurchase from this brand.

I love Native! One of the only 2 natural deodorant brands I’ve found that really works. The formula is super smooth and the sticks last a long time. And the packaging actually looks a bit chic. It’s a bit expensive for deodorant, but it’s effective enough to be worth it in my opinion. Also I was never a big fan of any scents in deodorants until I found this brand. I love almost every smell they make! My favourites are the cucumber, peach, blackberry or pine versions.

The deodorant is creamy and feels like any other but in multiple occasions it stained my clothes white, and the yucky smell peeked through sometimes after sweating a lot- obviously due to aluminium detox (which happens when switching deodorants) but the quality is good enough.

I love the scent and natural ingredients of the body wash. I've tried the deodorant and they seem to work well for natural deodorant. I love the scents of the body washes and they suds and clean well.

I think this is great in terms of smell/ options/ accessibility/branding, but as most natural deos go, not actually sure if it works. It also has stained my white tees pretty badly! As a qualm w/ most natural deodorants, efficacy seems to go down the more regularly you use it? I am not sure, I am not a scientist only a girl. The lilac and white tea is the best though!

I have been using these deodorants on and off for a little while. I am using the Lavender and Rose one currently. I think the scent is great, and I love that it is all natural. However, it leaves a lot of white residue.

Native has become a household staple for my family. It's convenient to find their products both in-store and online. Right now, we're using the "Eucalyptus & Mint" shampoo, "Cashmere & Rain" body wash, and my partner is trying out the "Sea Salt & Cedar" deodorant. The shampoo and body wash are solid, everyday options. They're colorless, have a good lather, and do a decent job of cleaning. While they’re not the most moisturizing or the best for deep cleansing, they get the job done. I'm sensitive to added fragrances, and appreciate that the scents are light and fade quickly after use. Cons: - While the shampoo is labled as "volumizing," I didn’t see a difference in hair volume. - The deodorant leaves white marks on clothing. Overall, reliable basics with light scents. While nothing about it stands out as exceptional, maybe being a standard everyday product is exactly what makes it a good product.

Hard to find a great natural deodorant, but this comes really close. Not for super stressful days, but great otherwise. Love their clean branding and range of subtle scents. I've also tried their body wash. Would recommend!

I tried Native and wanted to like it! However, the texture was a little odd to me and I ended up going back to normal deodorant. Occasionally I will still wear it if I am wearing a tank top, but don’t like the feeling of the product against fabric!

I like to use native. And the smells are great. But I wish they would have a deodorant that could be long lasting. I don’t really like the white residue that is left on my skin. I also wish that they had more of a variety for the mini travel size deodorants. But I do like the fact that they are aluminum free.

I upgraded from regular drugstore deodorants to Native and I'm so glad I did! The Grapefruit & Bergamot scent smells amazing and does its job all day, which isn't the case for all the "cleaner" deodorants I've tried.

This last week I tried the new body wash from Native's, the Coconut & Vanilla. The first thing I noticed is the big bottle, which I love because it gives me that peace of mind that it will last for long and for all family. The pump is good, works good and doesn’t create the cakey part. It makes a rich foam and the scent is the sweetest ever. Seems like I’m showering in a tropical island. The skin after feels soft, and hydrated for long time. It feels so good on my skin. Much better than the shower gels. The formula is made free from sulfates, parabens, dyes, and petrolatum. They are written on the package, and explaining their reason to be in the formula.

I initially purchased Native Deodorant because I struggle with heavy sweating and was actively seeking a "clean," aluminum-free alternative. Given the brand's strong marketing claims regarding natural ingredients, I was willing to pay the premium price, hoping for a product that was both effective and gentle. While the deodorant did provide some odor protection, its performance was only moderate—it worked, but certainly wasn't great. The biggest issue, however, was the severe reaction it caused on my skin. After using multiple different scents, I consistently experienced significant irritation and burning. A deodorant is supposed to offer comfort and protection, and the continuous discomfort made continued use unbearable. I eventually switched to Lume, and the difference was immediate and dramatic. The replacement product worked better without any of the painful side effects. For me, this comparison clearly shows that effective, gentle, aluminum-free options do exist, and Native simply didn't measure up. I will not be purchasing Native products again. What truly solidified my decision was investigating the ingredients further. Upon scanning the item with Yuka, the results indicated the presence of chemicals categorized as potentially harmful. This was the biggest letdown, as the supposed safety and natural composition were the primary reasons I chose this product and paid a higher price point. Being led to believe I was purchasing a superior, clean product only to find contradictory information is incredibly frustrating.

Not to be TMI, but I have recently been using "natural" deodorants with AHA as the active ingredient, and it has given me the worst itchy rash under my arms. I've switched over to Native, particularly the Coconut/Vanilla and Cucumber Mint scents and they have helped calm down my issue so much. I'm so relieved to be getting back to normal. Native is the way.
