Nanit Reviews

4.4

Nanit reviews assert the brand works: users praise clear video, reliable live streaming, and thoughtful features but many object to gated subscription features after the first year and occasional connectivity or false-alarm issues. Buyers who prioritize image quality, travel convenience, and sleep tracking find it compelling; those who dislike recurring feature paywalls, app battery drain, and unreliable connections should weigh trade-offs before buying.

  • Again, another product I’ve used since the birth of my son two years ago. Love that I’m able to connect miles away, the quality is great, never had any issue using!

  • We really like the Nanit. Out of the box to installed in the nursery was a quick and painless process, and the app is easy to use and intuitive. We switched to Nanit for our second kiddo from one of the camera + monitor combos and it's been a major upgrade. The camera quality is good (much better than the previous setup), we can use our phones when we're outside the house with the other kiddo to keep an ear (and sometimes an eye) on the little one, and it looks nice. When we bought our Nanit it came with a 1 year subscription to the premium app, which was awesome. They offer a bunch of different add-on products, but we've only used the mobile mount (which has been fantastic when we travel. A few things to note; If you keep the app open, even in the background, it does drain your phone battery. Much faster if you have the app open (duh), but it's something to be aware of. The ONLY major drawback / issue I have with the Nanit is the inability to move the camera remotely. Every once in awhile we'll get a sound notification and we can see that they baby is asleep. There's a decent field of view with the camera as it is, but if I could move the camera, I'd be able to see if the noise was from the dog or our older kiddo checking in on her sister. Not a huge issue, since again, the field of view is good enough as it, but it could be awesome.

    Not really anything.

  • I’m obsessed with my Nanit and have been recommending this to all my new mom friends. I have 5 month old twins and from the beginning I made it a priority to implement healthy and independent sleep habits. I love that Nanit gives us daily detailed sleep analytics so we can know we’re on the right track regarding their ever changing wake windows. We get age appropriate tips to help improve their daily and nightly sleep. All this is included with the free version but I’m tempted daily to upgrade. The split screen option allows me to see both of them at the same time which is my favorite feature.

Amazing product. I have all the breathe-wear technology but the sleep sacks are not as comfortable and my twins often prefer different brands with softer fabrics. I assume it’s because the Velcro wrap around creates a lump they’re uncomfortable sleeping on.

  • We wanted to find a monitor that allowed us to take it on holidays and see our son’s room wherever we were. This was a game changer so much so that we purchased the wall mount and the travel kit. It’s simple to connect to new networks and also has a night light, sleeping noise and speaker function. The subscription is expensive but was worth it for the first year when we were very anxious. The speaker has come in clutch when we’ve caught our son trying to escape the crib to get him to stop!
