I bought the Glow Dust Facial Mask from Yellow Beauty, and I love how clean and smooth my skin feels afterward! I use this once weekly and have noticed brighter skin and a more even complexion. I love that I can support a small brand with such a great mission and one that keeps me connected to my cultural roots as well.

The mask comes in powder form in a small bag, so mixing the powder into a paste and application can get messy. The powder contains turmeric, and while it's not strong enough to stain skin or surfaces, it can come off on fabric.

I bought the Oatmeal Toffee dough and they tasted delicious! They were flavorful, chewy, and I liked the concept of frozen cookie dough for ready-to-make cookies for a quick sugar craving. Watch out for how long you bake them for as the times can differ.

The packaging was excessive and kind of dampened the experience. There are too many boxes and pieces of plastic, and the bag that contains the dough itself is not resealable, so you have to figure out a way to close it yourself. The cost is also quite high for how much dough is provided (8 balls per bag) and I probably wouldn't purchase this again unless there was more dough per bag or if there were a better deal on variety packs.

I brought this along to holiday gatherings last year and it was super fun to play, especially with larger groups! It’s a great go-to party game and definitely helps break the ice between people. It’s even more fun if people in the group share a similar sense of humor.

I don’t bring this out too often because it can get a bit boring after a while. Would also be great if the game were an app or online instead to more easily update the bank of memes.

I’ve only tried the Hair Oil and was very pleased with the results. I usually use it as an overnight hair mask if my hair feels like it needs a dose of moisture and it leaves my hair smelling so nice and feeling soft and manageable.

The Matcha Hemp Hydrating cleanser has quickly become a favorite of mine! It does such a good job at breaking down residual makeup and oils and leaves my face feeling very clean, moisturized, and nourished. There have been plenty of other cleansers that have left my face feeling rather stripped of hydration so I’m glad I was able to find a product that works so well on my face.

Such a great-tasting cookie with amazing ingredients! The flavors are so rich and delicious and they taste just like fresh cookies. I got a set of two boxes of the Dark Chocolate Chip soft cookie and definitely want to try out the other three flavors.

I purchased Summer Fridays’ Jet Lag Mask and I adore it! It’s great as an overnight moisturizer or as a mask as part of a night routine and leaves my face hydrated and glowing. I’ve also heard great things about their lip balms and definitely want to check them out.

I heard so much about Brightland’s olive oils and vinegars and finally decided to bite! I definitely was not disappointed — the flavor, packaging, and overall quality of these products are pretty unmatched. They’re amazing in salads, on bread, look great in kitchen cabinets, and make for fantastic gifts!

I’m very picky about hair products because my very curly hair can be pretty finicky and unmanageable. I was mainly drawn to the concept of customizing one's own hair care with this line and decided to try it out. The experience is amazing — I loved taking the quiz and personalizing the products to my liking, and the packaging is very Instagrammable.

I do think that the products themselves didn’t do very much for my own hair and didn’t quite feel that they were worth it for the price point. Hopefully, they include more in their line to try out moving forward.
