TLDR: Would recommend for casual speaker use. Well-made, durable, good sound projection, good battery life, and affordably priced. I've really become a pretty big JBL fan in the past few years. When they first launched, I found their speakers to be so-so - but there's been massive improvement in their products in the past 3-5 years. I currently own the JBL Charge, and it's a pretty awesome speaker. Pros & cons below: Pros: - Good battery life - Durable, doesn't seem to get banged up/damaged from people moving it around - Light and easy to carry with you if you're going somewhere - Pretty good sound quality & decent sound projection - Bluetooth is easy to connect & stays connected well Cons: - Not as high/crisp sound quality as something like a Bose speaker, for example, but it's still pretty good. - Definitely a better speaker for a casual listener who is having a party, doing something outside, etc - not really designed to appreciate the intricacies of the music you're listening too. I wouldn't listen to jazz on it for example - we more of a pop sort of speaker.

I've owned my JBL speaker for over 5 years and truly have no complaints. It holds a charge for several uses, has really good volume control, and is overall very minimalistic in style.

I really like this speaker. As a musician I use it all the time to practice, and it's great for listening to music around the house, too. I have family and friends that use the speakers as well, and they love them. My only issue is the price. I really wish these were more affordable.

I love my JBL charge 5 speaker. it is a college staple. all of my roommates have JBLs including the massive 2 foot boom box lookin speaker ... volume is never a problem with these speakers -- and you can connect them :)

Good entry level speaker, good quality for the price. There are better speakers out there, but reliable and does the job for price.

These speakers are awesome, great quality of sound and length of battery. Kinda expensive, but worth the investment. They also come in fun colors which I love and there are size and style options for everyone!

I have a speaker that was about $49 and it honestly does the job. I can hang it anywhere and the sound quality is great! I love it

I purchased a JBL mini bluetooth player after trying/using/loving 2 of them on a photo shoot set I worked on once. It’s small but mighty, the sound quality is incredible considering its size. Super portable, great battery life, and a must have in all of my travels and all of my photo shoots. The price point is amazing / super worth it

This is a super brand for speakers they’re cheaper than the Bose ones and are also super… It may not last as long as the Bose one….

I use a little JBL round portable speaker. I often use it in my greenhouse or clip it onto a tree while washing vegetables. I love that you can just clip it somewhere and get lots of sound. It's a great little speaker. It's affordable, cute, and so easy to use. I like that it's a brand that's been around a while and keeps making a great reliable product. Years ago, all my kids got JBL speakers and they still use the and they still work great.

If they weren't so expensive, this would be my go-to brand for portable speakers, over-the-ear headphones/noise-cancelling headphones, and sound systems. Excellent Quality. Never had a product that let me down, other than financially!

I love my JBL speakers! I have the charge 4, the boombox, and the mini clip! I love that I can use then all together when having a party. The range of sizes is also very helpful so that I can use them for an occasion! Definitely worth the price tag!

I have the JBL Boombox 2 and the sound is AMAZING. I've never had a bad experience with JBL speakers, my brother had the JBL Clip 3 and loves how portable it is. These speakers are bass friendly and perfect for filling a room with surround sound. JBL is always the first speaker brand that comes to mind when I'm looking or giving a recommendation.
