GOODLES reviews and discussion

Reviews mention

  • Creamy, satisfying cheese sauce
  • Al dente, springy noodles
  • High‑protein, fiber‑rich formulation
  • Playful, distinctive flavor variety
  • Inconsistent, muted flavor execution
  • Salty, high‑sodium sauce
  • Small, unsatisfying portions
  • Occasional digestive discomfort reports

GOODLES earns strong reviews as a tastier, higher‑protein, high‑fiber upgrade to classic boxed mac and cheese, with many praising creamy, cheesy flavors (Shella Good, Cheddy Mac, Twist My Parm, Down The Hatch) and al dente noodles. However, reviews flag inconsistent flavor execution (especially Cacio e Pepe and some vegan options), occasional watery or bland sauces, high sodium, small portions, and reports of stomach discomfort; shoppers who prioritize nutrition over pure nostalgia find it a compelling pantry staple, while purists may prefer Annie’s or Kraft.

  • Loved Goodles! The pasta was super tasty and had great flavor. It’s a fun twist on a comfort food, and I definitely enjoyed it. Will definitely be grabbing more in the future for sure! The flavor availability is great too.

  • These are pretty good. I'm not a huge fan of boxed mac and cheese but it's good for a lazy dinner at the end of a long day, and this is a much healthier option than conventional boxed mac and cheese. We all need to be eating more fiber.

  • I really like the variety of flavors that you can't get in typical mac and cheese brands. The parmesan one is my favorite. I also really appreciate that there's more protein than regular mac and cheese too. However, I do feel the price is a little too high.

  • I absolutely love this Mac and cheese it's so good and way healthier than other options my kids love it it's a staple in our house

  • These pastas have such good flavor and has clean ingredients. I like to have this for a quick and easy meal.

  • The Vegan White Cheddar flavor is a solid addition to the growing lineup of vegan and gluten free mac n' cheese brands. I appreciated the tanginess of the "white cheddar" flavor. It tastes like the powdered mac n' cheese you remember from childhood, which can be a good thing.

  • Goodles is such a game-changer when it comes to pasta! I love how they’ve combined delicious flavors with nutritious ingredients like chickpeas and lentils, making it a healthier option without sacrificing taste. The pasta cooks up perfectly, and the sauces are so rich and flavorful. It’s the perfect go-to for a quick, satisfying meal that I can feel good about eating. Goodles has become a staple in my kitchen for when I want something comforting and nourishing!

  • Goodles is my go-to when I want comfort food that doesn’t feel like junk. The flavors are sooo good (seriously, it’s hard to pick a fave), and I love that it’s packed with protein and nutrients without tasting 'healthy.' High fiber is key all 2025 (and beyond!!) I do wish for a few more dairy free flavors though; I used to be vegan and think that vegans would love more options :)

  • I like that Goodles has options for all diets, the packaging is fun, and, yes, it tastes good. The plant-based seasoning in my opinion is pretty great and I would be interested in buying that seperately :) Oh and I LOVE the fun shapes

  • I've solely switched to using Goodles as my mac 'n cheese brand. It's delicious, i love the added protein and fiber and the flavors are so good.

  • My favorite pantry staple! This is always my go to when I am exhausted after work and dont feel like cooking.

  • This macaroni and cheese tastes amazing - I love all the different flavors. The nutrition content is fantastic, too!! It's quick and easy to make, it's a great "go-to" dish for busy days. It's a staple in our pantry!

  • Love the elevated boxed mac n cheese option! Price is a little high but I think it is worth it for the added protein and fun flavors!

  • Some of the flavors are definitely not my cup of macaroni so-to-speak lol but I am *loving* the gluten free and vegan box of Goodles! As someone having tummy issues related to wheat right now, it's been a godsend. Definitely try that if you're celiac or low-FODMAP!

  • This has got to be my favorite mac and cheese of all time it has a great flavor and a nice amount of cheese it also has a lot of protein and is decently healthy for you

  • GOODLES are the best. So easy. Takes me literally 10 minutes to make. And such a huge flavor range. Easy to please anyone. Lots of protein too!

  • I've tried several varieties of Goodles Pasta: Twist My Parm, Cheddy Mac, and regular penne noodles. Twist My Parm (Asiago and Parmesan Cheese): The taste was a bit light and fleeting. It wasn't as flavorful as I would've liked.   Cheddy Mac (Cheddar Mac & Cheese): I very much enjoyed the taste of it. It holds up to the Kraft, and I felt good knowing that it had additional nutrients that the dark blue box can’t match! Goodles Pasta Noodles: I purchased the penne variety, and I used it to make a delicious tomato feta pasta. It's comforting to know that instead of being simply enhanced flour that the pasta itself had nutritional value. The only con was that the price point was a bit high compared to regular dry pasta.
