Reviews mention

  • High-protein, nutrient-dense pasta
  • Creamy, satisfying cheese sauces
  • Nostalgic, crowd-pleasing flavors
  • Chic, memorable packaging
  • Occasionally bland, uneven seasoning
  • Sometimes overly salty taste
  • Sauce thin or coagulates cooling
  • Small, less-filling portions

GOODLES earns strong reviews for tasting like nostalgic boxed mac and cheese while adding meaningful protein, fiber, and veggie-derived nutrients; many praise flavors like Shella Good, Cheddy Mac, Twist My Parm, and Mover & Shaker and note easy prep and appealing packaging. Reviews also flag downsides: inconsistent flavor punch, occasional salty or bland notes, stomach discomfort from fiber, small portions, and sauce texture issues (thin or coagulating), with some saying it’s not markedly better than Kraft or Annie’s.

  • Goodles surpassed my expectations! The flavors are top-notch, and the added protein is a big bonus. Super convenient to make!

  • A good, comfort, mac and cheese out of a box. Hits the spots when you’re craving it. I definitely want to try other flavors

I got it on a deal after watching good morning America. Without the deal I could see it being a bit pricey.

  • I REALLY wanted to love GOODLES’ Mover & Shaker flavor but — meh. It’s Cacio E Pepe inspired but it fell short for me. It was bland but, peppery. Granted it’s a dish that already doesn’t have a lot of ingredients but, it could have way more punch to it. I’ll have to try the others.

  • Not ashamed to say mac and cheese is still a comfort (and frequent) food in my mid 20’s.. so on my usual stroll down the aisle Goodles definitely caught my attention! The branding is what grabbed me, the amount of protein is what made me put it in my cart! So far I’ve tried Cheddy Mac and Shells Good, and both have been amazing. If you told me this was Kraft I would believe you, which is the highest praise you can give it in my book. Love that I’m getting the same taste while actually fueling my body (at least enough to get up and finish the box off). Couldn’t recommend it more and can’t wait to try the other flavors!

As a vegetarian, I’m always trying to add in more protein so that’s a big box checked! The price is obviously high for mac and cheese in a box, but I’m not taking it out of my diet any time soon so might as well get the one with some added benefits!

  • I tried the “Cheddy Mac” flavor and was pleasantly surprised to how good it is. It doesn’t taste any different from normal mac and cheese so it’s a win for me :)

  • Tasted just like Kraft but healthier! The only issue I have with it is that it has a slight cart board after taste, I think they should change the packaging but they’re still delicious

  • I have NEVER been a boxed mac & cheese person. Always just made it myself from scratch bc we are nerdy foodies and my son's palette doesn't fall far from the tree. But Goodles was a game changer. A bowl of Twist My Parm with some cracked pepper is our go-to after school got-an-A-on-my-math-test kind of celebratory snack and I am so there for it. The fact that it's got no chemically-weird ingredients and that they even snuck some good stuff into the pasta makes it taste even better. We buy the 24-pack size which brings the price down substantially.

Easier to get and would love to see at stores in the future.

  • Love! Love! Love! Easy to make. Tasty! Great packaging!!! Ps. We used Oatmilk and the product was still delish!

  • We love goodles. The flavors are great and the packaging is cool.

  • These tasted good. They tasted like a boxed Mac and cheese but with protein which is a plus!

  • I really liked goodles! I felt like they tasted good, they were perfectly cheesy, there is a wide variety of different kinds including gluten free as well. My only drawback is the price. They are more than twice the price of standard Mac and cheese boxes.

  • The perfect girl dinner. I prefer the Cheddy Mac flavor to the Twist my Parm. The texture and flavor is comparable to a classic mac and cheese. The noodles are a good consistency and do not fall apart the way some nutrient-focused pasta brands do.

  • Goodles is an absolute game-changer! Delicious, nutritious, and packed with bold flavors, it’s the perfect combination of comfort and healthy eating. The pasta texture is fantastic, and I love that it’s made with added goodness like veggies and protein. A must-try for anyone who loves pasta but wants something a little healthier!

  • I’ve liked every goodles flavor I’ve tried! I like this brand a lot. It’s very good and I like the flavors

  • Actually tastes like Mac!!! I’ve been looking for items with addd protein to add to my family’s diet and this has been a fan favorite in our house! So yummy

  • I'm a Goodler for Goodles. It helps satisfy my kid craving for Kraft mac n cheese but with a better nutrient list. I've only tried a few flavors and would say the Mover & Shaker is my favorite, otherwise, my next top pick is Cheddy Mac. Tist My Parm was okay and not something I would reach for in the future. Overall I really enjoy Goodles and on the box mac n cheese scale, they are a 5 out of 5. Also, I love that I can find them at popular retailers like Whole Foods and Target.

  • Bought the cacio e pepe mac and cheese on a whim at Target and was really pleasantly surprised. High quality but super simple-- will be repurchasing!!
