Reviews mention

  • Compliment-magnet signature fragrance
  • Seamless, buildable cream blush
  • Natural, defining brow gel
  • Gentle, lightweight cleanser
  • Inconsistent shade inclusivity
  • Sheer, short-lasting formulas
  • Fragile, leaky packaging
  • Variable scent longevity

Glossier earns praise in reviews for effortless, no‑makeup makeup staples like Boy Brow, Cloud Paint, Lash Slick, and the universally complimented Glossier You fragrance, which many call a signature scent. However, reviewers flag inconsistent makeup payoff and longevity, polarizing skincare efficacy, packaging flaws (leaking body oil, cracking lipstick caps, messy Cloud Paint tubes), reformulation disappointments (Balm Dotcom, You perfume), limited shade range, and some products feeling sheer, basic, or short‑lasting.

  • Love love love this brand. I am a big Glossier girl. I've been very satisfied with pretty much every single one of their products I've tried, which is saying something. Particular highlights include their highlighter products and the Cloud Paint.

The skin tint can be irritating to my skin

  • If you have the chance to go to a glossier store take it! So innovative on their design and product displays. I bought the balm dot com and it's great, no complaints. Super clean packaging, cool marketing, and great displays.

More stores throughout the states to not send an elitist mentality

  • The skincare in general has an odd smell / it's ok - HOWEVER, the boy brow pencil is the specific product that I would order repeatedly. Super compact, impactful and easy to use for brow popping, and comes in a variety of colors.

  • Skincare is for people who already have great, clear skin and don’t need much. Always wear primer with the makeup. Slips off easily.

Makeup that lasts and skincare that drive for results when you are prone to acne skin.

  • I have tried many Glossier products and have nothing but good things to say. My favorite products are the balm dot com, Glossier You Eau de Parfum, cloud paint, and lidstar.

  • Only have tried the boy brow and perfume but love both. Great smell for the perfume and absolutely loved how easy the boy brow is to use and just makes my brows look done up but in a natural way!

  • Some individual products are great but it's not consistent throughout the brand

Shade range is absolute trash, skincare way overpriced for what it is

  • Reasonably priced cosmetic products that are reliable. Went through a phase where my skincare and makeup routine were predominantly from Glossier but now feel that there are better options on the market. Now feel like the hype is dying down but still love the branding and think they were pioneers within their space.

  • I’m a fan of the boy brow, but the liquid shadow tubes seem to really irritate my eyelids. Also, the skincare is fine, but I’ve liked k-beauty skin care products more that cost less and are more effective on my 35 year old skin.

I don’t know what it is about those shadow tubes but my eyelids hate them.

  • Really like this brand and my favorite product is the perfume. The foundation and concealer makeup is better for those that just want really light coverage.

  • love their makeup! If you like the makeup / no makeup look glossier Is great for that! Used their skincare also but I favor their makeup a little more.

    keep doing what you're doing!

  • I've tried a good amount of Glossier products and loved all of them. The You perfume is one of my favorite scents of all times and it is great if you love a distinct scent that isn't too sweet or overpowering. I also love the Body Hero line and both the Oil Wash and Mist are part of my go-to shower routine. Cloud Paint in Dawn is also a fantastic, light, and buildable liquid blush that can be used for a day or nighttime look. I really love the No. 1 Pencil in Fresco, as well. It glides on easily, even if you're not a makeup professional, blends well if you mess up, and is pigmented.

  • Everything I've tried from Glossier has been amazing. The standouts have been the mascara, the cloud paint (the coral color specifically!), and tinted lip balms. Recently, they were having their 20% off sale and I totally forgot to add in the coupon code during check out. I immediately emailed support and they took care of it right away and gave me a refund on the 20%!

  • Cute packaging but not much going on for the brand.

Mostly product targeted at teenagers and young people. Would be nice to see them venture into products that the older demographic can use in a similarly fun and innovative way

  • Tried a variety of their products over the years but keep coming back for their mascara. Love the applicator wand, it's never clumpy and doesn't run all over when I'm taking it off. A little pricey but I haven't been able to find a better one for cheaper.

  • Have been using Glossier products for about 8 years ago. I love that they somehow feel elevated and simple at the same time.

  • Great products, of which I have used a small selection. The stuff I have used has been great though, and definitely a brand that I would look towards in the future when I want to shake things up from my current rotations.

  • Used their milk cleanser and it was a great starting point for my skincare journey.

  • The branding and marketing of this company are on point but the performance of the products are hit or miss. Highly recommend Boy Brow, the highlight sticks, and the perfume.

  • I think this brand just gets it. It isn't frilly and gets right to the point. I have tried a lot of mascaras but this mascara is my favorite. Their skin care is also a1 and helps me feel better in my skin. Their concealer is magical.

I'd love a concealer that was also a foundation.
