Glossier impresses in reviews for delivering easy, natural-looking makeup—standouts include Boy Brow, Cloud Paint, Lash Slick, and the much‑praised Glossier You fragrance—while drawing criticism for ultra‑sheer coverage, inconsistent longevity, and packaging flaws. Reviews say the brand is good for “no‑makeup makeup” days and everyday scent, but skincare feels basic and shade range and recent reformulations (You, Balm Dotcom) disappoint some users.

I like the look of the makeup but it is very sheer a lot of the times. I do enjoy their lip products although the gloss is very sticky. Overall I'd consider buying them again but it depends on the product.

A little less sheer would be nice.
I’ve used glossier for years now, my favorite products are the boy brow (mostly bc of the small spookier), balms, cloud paint, mascara, and perfume. I think that the price for the products is a little high, and a lot of that cost goes into their marketing and packaging. All their products are so cute, and they’ve come out with some innovative products, but I won’t pretend that their products are better quality than something from the drugstore.

Cute packaging!
I think Glossier was overhyped at one point but I do like some of their products. I think they make TOO many different things now. Their perfume is amazing and has such a unique smell but I haven't been wowed by anything from them in awhile.

Have tried a variety of products. Really like the aesthetic and quality of most of their products. Favorites include boybrow, you (perfume), lidstar in the darker shades, and generation g lipstick.

The cloud paints are hard to blend at times.
Love the aesthetic of the brand. Some products are a hit and others are forgettable. Reasonable pricing and love the bundle options.

Boy brow is the best! The balms are fun but ordinary. The lip color is not my favorite.
I like the clean look and the quality of the products.

I don't wear makeup super frequently, but when I do, it's almost exclusively Glossier. I find the products simple to use and flattering.
I love glossier’s products. They are minimal and feel light on my skin. I hate wearing foundation. But I love the skin tint. It doesn’t offer much coverage, but it just evens everything out and gives a really nice glow. I also love how you get a pink bubble wrap bag which I then reuse for everything when traveling!
I have always wanted a minimal makeup collection. This is the blueprint of that. Some items are a bit too gimmicky to me though like the solid perfume.

Less wasteful packaging. Please use compostable packaging. Price points are not too great considering their carbon footprint.
I love the cloud paint blush!! I've even used it as lipstick when I forgot to bring lipstick. I tried the popular perfume "You" but honestly I thought it was awful and just smelled like alcohol. However, costumer service was amazing and sent me a refund, no questions asked. Overall, great costumer service and products!

Perfume. And cloud paint packaging makes you pour more than you need.

I love the Milk Jelly Cleanser and all of their non-tinted lip balm's aka bombdotcom products.

The tinted lip balms have a gritty texture that I don't like
Got my fiancée all new makeup for Christmas. Love how simple it is, pricing is reasonable. Very cute makeup case as well.
Their blush has been a staple for years! I’ll always have a soft spot for this brand
Longtime fan of Glossier -- here are my thoughts. - Cloud paint: My first purchase and introduction to the world of cream blush. Super cute packaging and beginner friendly because it blends easily and isn't crazy pigmented. I like a lot of blush, though, so I would only get it if you're wanting a more natural look. - Balm dot com: I'm fundamentally against petrolatum based lip balms, but unfortunately I love this :/ It feels great on the lips and the flavors are super fun! Lavender is my favorite - Haloscope: I know a lot of people hate it because it's super sheer/natural, but that's what I love about it! It's a great everyday highlight and wonderful if you're not wearing a lot of makeup (or even if you are). I've never swiped it directly on my cheek because I'm scared of it lifting up my base products. - Skin tint and Stretch concealer: Super flexible if you get the wrong shade like I did because they're so sheer, but you definitely need to know what to expect when you get this. The skin tint slightly evens out the skin, and that's about it. Not very much coverage (which I'm fine with). I love that I don't have to set the concealer, but it can sometimes look dry/emphasise texture under my eyes. Mine is really old, though, so take that with a grain of salt. - Glossier You: My first perfume, so it has a special place in my heart. I think the packaging is adorable, but I think mine has been smelling a bit more alcohol-ish and less like iris (which is the main note I was getting when I first bought it). My bottle is pre-reformulation. - Gen G: My FAVORITE! Love the blotted look, but they can feel a bit drying. - Boy Brow: I like the brush because I feel like compared to other brow gels and dupes, it gives a fluffier look. The hairs at my brow tail fall by late afternoon, but not much more than with brow soap. Still, I wouldn't recommend this if you're wanting a super laminated brow look. - The beauty bag: Super cute, but you can't really stuff it/overpack it like you might other makeup bags. I often travel with only a backpack, and that takes up a lot of space in my bag.

I feel like the formula for cloud paint has changed (my new ones seem less pigmented, but I'm not sure), and the lip balms often separate. The caps of my Gen G and Ultralip pop off as if I haven't closed them all the way, though they don't fall off. I haven't noticed any cracking of the lids yet, and I've had some of them since 2019. Considering recent changes to the company and their iffy behavior in the past, I'm not sure how invested I'll be in Glossier's future.

Please bring back the Cookie Butter Balm Dot Com!
I fell for the aesthetic makeup and skincare with the cute bubble wrap carrying bags. As someone who is not a huge make-up wearer, I loved how the make-up felt more "natural" and wasn't that overwhelming to use. I've enjoyed every make-up product that I've ordered so far (mascara, skin tint, concealer, and lidstar). However, I did not really like the face wash. I didn't really feel like it made my face that clean.

Price point is a little bit on the higher side. Also, I wish there were more in-person stores or offered in other beauty stores, so I could see the colors in person.
Cutest packaging + branding by faaaar. I've tried so many products I can't even remember which I've tried, but the highlights are the balm dot com and futuredew oil serum. The serum is definitely innovative, and it gives a nice glow. The balms are just all around solid in terms of packaging, scent and formulation. I am obsessed with the berry and mango ones, they're lightly tinted and smell AMAZING
I love their products. They are high in quality, reasonable price, and their products actually work well. Especially, I love the exfoliating skin perfector. It really does transform your skin. My skin surface got even and smoother. I keep ordering more of the perfector as I finish the whole bottle of it!

The brow gel is phenomenal, the freckle pen works pretty well, and the blush cloud is super natural looking and dewy!

Maybe improving the foundation
That dewy goodness is soooooo worth it. the boy brow is overhyped but I'm here for it at it's pricepoint!
