I love the Buffer Jelly, even as someone with oily, acne-prone skin. Products like this normally give me small whiteheads, but not this one. After putting this on at night my acne scars look less irritated when I wake up. It definitely is a PM product, which the directions clearly state. The texture reminds me of Glossier Super Glow but Experiment's actually has skincare benefits.

I received the Buffer Jelly as part of a thingdrop. I am a skincare enthusiast and have used many facial oils before. I like that it comes out thick, not runny like most oils so it is much less messy. My dry skin loved the oil as the last step in my routine at night and it has not caused any breakouts. My typical go to oil is rosehip oil and the results I saw were pretty much the same, just nicely hydrated skin. I would be way more inclined to travel with this than other oils as there is a much lower risk of leakage than a dropper bottle, but I only travel to cold/dry climates a handful of times a year. The packaging was super cute. I am also interested in trying Super Saturated as I've heard amazing things and I hope they release more products in the future. Would I buy buffer jelly again? Maybe if I was placing an order from Experiment for other things. The bottle seems small for the price and it is nice but not game changing for someone who already likes facial oils.

This review is specifically for the jelly buffer, which is not so much jelly as it is oil. First off, the package is very small, but a tiny amount goes a long way. I was a big fan of the ingredients list for this product, and it didn't irritate my skin. I used it on some dry patches after going after acne with some harsh products, and this really got rid of the flakiness after just one use! I would like to try their other products.

Awesome packaging and overall, the product did its thing. It wasn't a mindblowing change but definitely added upped my moisture for a longer period of time. Found that it felt a little slimy when it JUST the Butter Jelly on my face, so I'll be using it as an occlusive enhancer from now on.

The brand aesthetic is super fun! Quality products -- I liked the glycerin serum (though it definitely is pretty sticky -- but it is to be expected! use at night/only when at home for this reason!) and the eco-friendly face mask

Absolutely incredible product. I have seriously dry skin in the winter (it's usually combo, but in the winter air/heater it's now super dry), I also have sensitive skin prone to eczema flair-ups so when I say something works, it works. My skin barrier got all messed up too because I started a new tretinoin prescription but their serum has saved my skin. I also really like using it, the texture is so satisfying and fun to use.

Love Experiment and love how cool yet effective their products are! I have their large face mask and use it religiously!!! Love to layer a bunch of hydrating mists and serums and pop the mask on top! Gives the best glow ever!

The idea is amazing!!

Bought the mask as part of my first thingdrop. I was excited by the concept, but was fairly underwhelmed by the reusable mask. The face mask is an asian skincare concept, and for a long time in asian skincare there have been silicone masks that are designed to go over paper face masks (to slow evaporation). This was the exact same product, but much more expensive without any product improvements or user experience improvements.

Love the concept but found it a little difficult to use. Not that relaxing and you need more product than you think.

Works exactly as advertised! (When you use it that is.) I am not a person that uses a lot of masks and the like and this did not make me become one of those people all of a sudden. But whenever I did use it the results were incredible! I like the versality in being able to choose what product to use as I find having to pick different masks and not knowing exactly how my skin will react a bit worrisome. And they’re great for the planet!

I received this product via Thingdrop. I was surprised by how much this product helped my standard moisturizer. My skin felt like it absorbed more of my daily product (Cerave) and left a nice feel and look. The green color of the product makes it a bit fun. I ordered the Large mask and it fits well.

On my third container of super saturated and have no complaints. I love this product. I would recommend applying to damp skin because the consistency is pretty taky.

I have been using both Super Saturated and Buffer Jelly and I love both! Just reordered Super Saturated. The texture of both products work well when you figure out the right amounts: a pump or two of the serum spreads nicely on damp skin, and the tiniest amount of the oil on dry sections of my skin is perfect on occasion. I’ve been more cautious about trying new products and waiting until I’m totally out of my current skincare before I buy anything new. I had just finished a bottle of a different hydrating serum from the drugstore - similarly simple, with glycerin as a main ingredient - and found that the Experiment serum was a huge change for the better. Both products are worth the price to me for how often I use them (the oil will definitely last a long time!).

Love this product, the only thing is that it is small for its price point and the squeeze bottle is sometimes hard to control how much comes out. I use a thin layer as the last step in the night time routine. My skin is combo sometimes more dry, but this feels like the closest thing to the ‘early 20’s collagen barrier’.

Such thoughtfully formulated products! Experiment has been on my radar for so long, and I finally got to try them through the Thingdrop. I've only just started using their Buffer Jelly but it's already such a staple in my routine. I always wake up with baby-soft skin and it's helped get rid of pesky dry patches!

I got the Buffer Jelly through a thingdrop. I recently got into slugging but, I can't get used to how sticky the Aquaphor can make my face feel while sleeping. I also have combination skin so, appreciate that this is micro-slugging. It's not sticky at all although it still gives you a nice layered sheen to your face albeit lighter - perfect for summer. The only thing to note is that this bottle was much smaller than expected for the price point.
