  • On November 29, I placed an order using the East Fork promotional offer on the company's website. The order was canceled without explaining the reasons, the offer was changed by increasing the amount of the order. The company refuses to send the order and does not respond to emails at all. But it actively sends its advertising. My impression of the company is spoiled ! Not recommended

  • I went down the East Fork rabbit hole a few years ago and my biggest regret is that I didn’t know about them earlier. I get so much joy out of eating on such beautiful dishes. Although the price can look daunting at first, I can tell that I’m paying for quality. Everything is so durable and dishwasher safe, and I expect to have my dishes for life. Beyond the product itself, I appreciate the company’s values and transparency. They partner with local charities each quarter, and donating gets you access to their Seconds page, where you can get nearly perfect pots at a discount.

  • I have purchased several pots from Eastfork since 2018. Very high quality, professionally packaged pottery. Experiences with Eastfork customer service are always delightful. They go above and beyond to assist their customers.

    Feedback

They have seconds pottery which can be a more affordable option. I purchased all of my first pieces of pottery as seconds and most looked close to firsts to me.

  • We own two of the Everyday bowels (love them and their warm clay and warm panna cotta glaze!!!) and decided to invest in 12 “You’re All Set” sets. I called and discussed my concerns that East Fork is switching over their materials with a rep and requested that my sets be cohesive- not void of character- but cohesive. My sets just arrived and half of them are the old glaze and pottery and half are the new. They don’t even look like the same color and everything from the clay color to the texture of the glaze to the tone (old is warm and earthy and new is dark and silver? Metallic???!) is different. We’re not talking about bespoke- but just plain mismatched. Disorganized. It looks like I bought two sets of pottery in two colors possibly from two places. I’m heartbroken. Literally cried. I’m a nurse so I have perspective that there are worse things in life, but I was so excited and so let down. So disappointed that a small company wouldn’t take care of a customer. Where did all the good people go, Jack?

In their own words

East Fork is a certified B Corporation in Asheville, North Carolina, committed to bringing you the most beautiful, functional and long-lasting pottery out there while treating each other and our community with kindness and respect. East Fork began as one potter, then two, then a few more, throwing clay and filling a wood-fired kiln on an old tobacco farm in Madison County, North Carolina. Before there were stores and a website, we had pottery sales on the farm. Much has changed in the last decade, but our early days laid the foundation for the company we are today. We're proud to be a Certified B Corporation, a distinction that speaks to our accomplishments in making business decisions that speak to our values, but more importantly, holds us accountable to the work that lies ahead in terms of working for the betterment of our employees, customers, suppliers, our communities and the environment. East Fork is Climate Neutral Certified, the standard earned by companies that offset and reduce all of their greenhouse gas emissions. From our factory and headquarters to our warehouse and retail stores in Asheville and Atlanta, the East Fork workforce is made up of 100+ hourly and salaried employees. When it comes to wages, everyone here makes at least $22 an hour and we have plans to raise this minimum wage again to what MIT has calculated as a family living wage here in Buncombe County, North Carolina. We partner with local non-profit, grassroots organizations and individuals working toward racial equity, community reconciliation, and supporting the liberation of folks who’ve been systematically oppressed by white supremacy, patriarchy, and heteronormativity.
