This was an everyday staple for a newborn! Great for shorts naps, lounging, being hands free but once baby starts sitting up, we used less and less. Overall life is short for the product but worth it and looking forward to using it for baby #2.

I purchased a DockATot secondhand and it was so helpful for the newborn days, up until baby became mobile. I would definitely use again with another child.

What a genius invention. This was by far my favorite item that we have from our baby shower. We use this thing all day long & I even put it on our bed for her to take a little nap with me next to her. I recommend this product to everyone expecting a new baby.

I am a big fan of the mainstay product that is essentially a mini, cushioned stationary snug bed for babies. It helps parents have a place to put baby down while they are in other rooms than the nursery. Baby lays flat, but too flat, because there's no angle it does not benefit babies with reflux. The price point is quite high and the patterns are on trend. It's a favorite item I often see on baby registries. The expansion into other products is exciting and I would splurge on a number items that make baby comfortable, is convenient for parents, and is super stylish.

I would never pay over $200 for a glorified pillow- I was gifted one from a friend who had only used it once or twice with her child. We actually used it a lot! Here's the thing- we used it, we liked it. It definitely comes in handy when you have a newborn- but it's not something very necessary. You can use rolled up blankets, pillows, other things that create a similar thing. So I don't think I'd ever purchase one myself- there are cheaper and just as cute brands. But to each their own! Everybody has their own preferences when it comes to baby stuff- we tried to simplify as much as possible- and borrow as much as we could.

I used this a lot when my daughter was born. Great for placing her in different spots around the house. However don’t place them on the edge of a pool like in their cover photo 🤣

The traditional DockATots are aesthetically pleasing and are great spaces to safely put down a newborn. However, our kids outgrew baby loungers after just a few months.. far earlier than what is advertised in the age range.

On one hand, I would not have purchased this at full price, but on the other hand I would have absolutely loved to have received one as a registry gift in my own preferred colors and styles and such. I was given a hand-me-down one from a friend. They do come in different styles lengths for different size babies. I would suggest getting the largest size so it would stay with you the longest and to roll up some swaddles on either side to buffer while the baby is small and I'm not particularly worried about that stage because the baby can't roll over yet for one and two. I would never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever suggest leaving a child in this without you literally next to them. This was a great thing to put the baby down next to me as I folded the laundry or they were taking a little cat nap after feeding and I just wanted to watch some TV and just somewhere extra to have that was padded to put the baby down not to put the baby down and walk away, but this product is great if you just want to put them down next to you and need a soft little nest for them

Gave this as a baby gift and it was much loved by the mother and baby!

A portable little area for your little one. This is great to use to sit down baby as a changing table for sleeping when you’re on the go or headed out of the house. Unfortunately, we didn’t use it as much as we thought we would, and our little one grew out of it way quicker than we anticipated, however it’s still a great idea and functional to use. Albeit a bit costly.

We love our dockatot and recommend it to all our friends — it’s portable, lasts a long time, high quality and one of our trusted items for our baby newborn til 7/8 months. I’m contemplating the larger size for my toddler

So convenient and comfortable for newborns! It can be placed on the couch, floor, kitchen table and allow you to work, clean, watch tv while your newborn rests safely nearby.

I never ended up getting my money's worth from my DockATot. My baby did find the lounger super cozy and calming, but it ended up being a pretty unnecessary addition to my baby registry seeing as you have to move them when they fall asleep. Considering how steep the price tag is and how little I ended up using the product, I wouldn't recommend.
