Reviews mention

  • Minimalist aesthetic, modern silhouettes
  • Thick cotton, opaque t‑shirts
  • Durable leather, long‑lasting bag
  • Clean stitching, refined construction
  • Inconsistent sizing across collections
  • Occasionally thin coat insulation
  • Stiff or fragile fabrics appear
  • Men’s t‑shirts lack durability

COS earns largely positive reviews for refined, minimalist designs, substantial tees and knitwear, and thoughtful tailoring that often holds up over years, yet reviews also flag inconsistent sizing, occasional quality lapses (thin coats, fragile pieces, fast-fading or stiff fabrics), and polarizing fits. The brand is praised for elevated basics, durable bags, and clean construction, but criticized for men’s tees’ fragility, variable garment longevity, and ethical concerns tied to its H&M ownership.

  • COS menswear delivers when it comes to quality — the construction is consistently solid, with clean stitching, good fabrics, and a level of durability that feels intentional. The pieces are minimal but well-made, with thoughtful proportions and materials that actually hold up over time. That said, the men’s offering can feel a bit stagnant. Style rotations are slow, and if you’ve shopped COS before, you’ll likely see the same silhouettes pop up season after season. Great for building a timeless wardrobe, but less exciting if you’re looking for something new or directional. Plus, the quality is absolutely there, but it always feels like it costs a little more than you wanna pay for what you’re getting is mostly capsule wardrobe pieces.

  • Since when did Cos get so expensive?! I’d rather spend that money on a more high-end brand or find something vintage/secondhand. Their prices are crazy, especially considering the quality. I’ve had a few pieces from Cos that either didn’t last or shrank in the wash. No, thanks.

  • I love COS: their minimalist aesthetic, unique cuts, quality fabric, but some of the fits can be very, very funky so it takes trying on to know for sure how the piece is going to look. Inevitably 80% of my online orders are returned.

Some of the fits are... questionable...

  • Noooo because the way I am OBSESSED with COS. They truly can do no wrong in my eyes. If i'm ever in a fashion slump, COS pulls me right out. I have purchased soft t shirts (fitted and oversize), sumptuous sweaters, and swimwear from here. The latter is really surprising, I bought a bikini in 2016 and still have it because it's just that good! But the real treat is jewelry. I'm always finding a great earring here that feels super high quality. I also am a big fan of their merino wool turtlenecks- they have the perfect amount of sheer to them that's still work appropriate but fun at holiday parties too.

  • Cos is owned by H&M. For all their progressive and sustainable branding, the money goes straight back into fast fashion at the end of the day. It’s embarrassing because this brand proves that H&M understands sustainability principles but just doesn’t care enough to implement them across the board. Their designs and fabrics are nice, but I will only ever buy them secondhand because of the ethical issues surrounding fast fashion.

  • I have purchased and worn quite a few items from COS. I have a few bucket hats, shirts and hiking clothes. I’ve never had to return anything over the years.

    Sizing is not uniform

  • I have purchased the clean cut t shirt and clean cut long sleeve . I found serious inconsistency in how the material felt . Keep in mind the t shirt is flexible and soft. The long sleeve feels stiff.

  • Simple and sleek designs that are everlasting. Can always count on COS clothing for simple elegant outfits that are good quality

  • First of all — COS provides a really nice quality. They're expensive but offer sales in January and in June-July. Design is often interesting but sometimes too much oversized.

Useful for not boring office outfits.

  • Really cute designs, nice materials and silhouettes

Pricey, but if you catch a sale and use your items faithfully the cost-per-wear becomes reasonable

  • I bought their T-Shirt and dress pants and being someone with a larger bust and hips, I was thoroughly impressed with the fit. The quality is really lovely and despite the higher prices, it's totally worth it.

The pants I bought are dry clean only, which is something I didn't think about during purchase. I also wish they had the same pants style, in different colours - or at least a system that shows you which pant fit is similar across other styles. Their t-shirt is also buttery soft and I thought it was going to have to be ironed after each wash, but it also sorts it creases out which is perfect for someone who doesn't own an iron.

  • Perfect for finding just the right dress. I wish there were more locations close to me.

  • I purchased a coat online. I received the wrong coat. I promptly contacted COS via online chat and used the return label to ship the wrong coat back. The return was rejected because the “warehouse” manager determined the price had been switched. I was not contacted about the issue, nor did I switch the price tag. But COS had the nerve to send the crap back to me. Accusing a paying customer of lying in order to save $234 is ridiculous. COS does not respect their customers, does not honor their return policy, their customers services supervisors are rude and indifferent to the client ( only one supervisor was responsive but was not authorized to issue a refund). I am escalating my issue to HM corporate to get my money. Do not shop with COS! They are not a reputable company!

  • I bought some clothes on December 6th and today is Dec 23, I still haven’t received my order! The tracking number they provided shows that the order is still in warehouse and hasn’t been dispatched! I wrote to customer service who lied to me that the order has been dispatched, even though I showed her the screenshot saying it has not. She asked me to wait until 23rd, which everyone has left for holidays!!! Don’t order anything from COS Sweden! They never had customer service and will not have!

  • I sent the whole order back, the return was processed correctly and a few days later the information - the return was processed again. to pay 334e. I paid with klarna so I have invoice updates. So what do you call such a company? Obviously they are fraudsters, It is already known that I will avoid them. I went to the trustpilot website and realized my mistake buying in this store.

  • Terrible service. I have returned my item because it didn't fit, was to small + the quality for 270eu shoes was really poor. It's now over a month since my return and I still haven't received the refund. The costumer service doesn't want to help and tells me to contact Klarna the service provider they use. Klarna is completely ignoring the case and constant telling me they tried to contact me when I haven't received anything and asks to wait for the other team member to contact me. So its just complete waist of time and energy on some not doing there job and for not following there terms and conditions!

  • I find most of my shirts and dresses was really good with cutting and fabric even if it went for almost 3 years with several times without torn apart and still always look classic which worth the money in my opinion. Loves how they try to limit the number of product for each season and material that they're explore with recycle material. Especially their jewelry and accessories which quiet durable. But still not so sure if it can call this a truly sustainable brand?

  • Worst customer service. I will not be shopping COS ever again and will be warning other buyers away. Bought two full price dresses in the DC location while on vacation. Both have dye issues that were not apparent until after laundering. "Alex" from the "highest level" of customer service informed me that the only way to get any help was to go back to the store. Despite the fact that I live over 300 miles from the nearest one. I am now out $135 per dress, ($270), and have unwearable garments. Shame on COS!!!
