COCOLAB earns polarized reviews: many report its textured, expanding Cocofloss cleans noticeably better and even wins dentist praise, while others find the thick strand shreds or gets stuck in tight contacts and around crowns. Reviews also celebrate playful flavors, cute refillable packaging, and sustainability-minded touches, but note inconsistent flavor strength and frequent fraying, plus mixed experiences with toothpaste texture and freshness.

I recently tried a few products from COCOLAB: the Cocofloss Happiness Set in the Legends Mix and the Whitening Toothpaste in Mint. First, the floss: I’m officially a fan! The texture feels effective at cleaning between my teeth but still gentle on my gums, which I really appreciate. The different flavors are a fun touch and are all enjoyable. As for the toothpaste, I was less impressed. I was intrigued by their unique flavors but ultimately opted for the mint because I wanted that classic fresh-mouth feel. Unfortunately, even the mint didn’t leave my mouth feeling as refreshed as I had hoped. Overall, I’ll definitely keep coming back for the floss—it’s a standout product that I now prefer over any other brand. But for toothpaste, I’ll likely stick with other options.

This is my favorite floss and I've tried many. I used to use a popular waxed floss brand, but the unusual texture of this is simply better. It gets the most gunk out between the teeth and does it in style. I love the packaging and it's satisfying to floss at each night. And look at the packaging - it's so cute. I got the Everything Set to last my family a while. Everybody gets to pick a flavor.

I am a total cocofloss evangelist. Like many people, I found brushing my teeth to be a tedious chore. I found that the fun flavors of cocofloss really added a little something to the experience. There are a few misses in the flavor lineup (the lychee one was particularly rough) but overall excellent. Flavor aside, it is extraordinary how effective it is as a floss. The sort of grippy texture really feels like it cleans your teeth better than any other floss I've used. It's undoubtedly pricey for what it is, but it was totally worth it at my last dental check up. I'm such a fan I gifted it to friends and family as a stocking stuffer over the holidays.

I really love this floss. Which is something I never thought I would say about floss. The benefit to this floss is that it is thick and really cleans your teeth and gums. You can really scrap well with this unlike the thin, nothing there floss I’ve tried before. I love that it is eco friendly and comes in many fun flavors and colors.

If you want clean teeth get this floss. It’s thicker than most and doesn’t feel waxy like others. I use this nightly and my dentist has actually noted that my gums seem healthier. The satisfaction of getting EVERY LAST BIT out of my teeth is motivational to use this every night

Cocolab has truly been a hero in my oral care routine. I’ve been using their floss for years and always come back with a clean bill from the dentist. Although their floss costs more than drugstore brands, the luxury feel and scents encourage me to floss, and what could be more valuable than that?

Look, there is no other floss that compares. You will extract plaque from crevices of your teeth that you never thought possible. It will disgust you how much plaque these sturdy little strings grab hold of, but you will be happier for it. I will never use another type of floss.

I’m not sure if I have just been living under a rock but the refillable flossed is the coolest idea ever! I don’t know why they are only marketing it as a kids item. Im contemplating buying two more for my husband and I. I also ordered the toothpaste and again it could be a me thing since I’ve never used nHA toothpaste buttttt I’m not a fan. Ultimately, I don’t finish brushing my teeth with that feeling fresh and clean taste. I need a little bit of foamy toothpaste while brushing - this is too much like I’m washing just water around when brushing.

I floss every day so I have tried many brands. While I used to use spearmint J&J when I found a small brand Dr Scholls (not the shoe insert) I switched and stayed. Then Covid hit and they stopped making floss. So I was hit up by Cocofloss online and gave them a try. 5 years later, I’m a loyal, daily user. My favorite flavor is Strawberry! Sticking with them b/c it easily slides between teeth, doesn’t shred which is key, not so stiff as to cut gums, and wraps on fingers gripping.

I’ve only used the floss (have tried soo many flavors), and it’s really good floss! If I’m going to use a plastic floss, I will shell out the money for this (and I continue to do so) because it doesn’t slip around like the floss I grew up with and the expanding quality of it does make a difference imo. I have a subscription, and it’s super easy to change your shipping date or swap out the product (but I also know you can get it from Target and Credo Beauty now). I love the different flavors they release, but that’s just a fun bonus. Love the refill options, and it’s easy to replace in the container. The refills are also great to travel with because it’s just the spool in its packaging.

I really like the coco floss because it expands so it really feels like it is exfoliating within the gums. It has also made me feel more clean. I wanted a toothpaste that was whitening and this seems to really do the job with the nano hydroxyapatite to restore mineralization.

I don't usually splurge on dental stuff but I'm so delighted by this brand! I got the Young Coconut Floss - it comes in a cute plastic dispenser thats clear with a top lid (writing is colored so a little hard to see) with a swirl on the back showing how long it'll last. The floss is blue and has a really nice scent. But what really sold me is the feel of the floss!!! It's *luxury*, very soft but firm and has a really nice feel when you use it. This would be such a cute add-on gift for students going away for college or camp.

I was recommended coco lab by my distance. 3 stars because it does the job but in my opinion it doesn’t make a significant difference. The packaging is cute so that’s a plus. I got the orange flavor and it doesn’t taste like anything.

I like the new formula! It doesn’t stick to your teeth as much when you floss and it’s so good with removing plaque. I’ve used glide for years and yes theirs is more waxy and comfortable but the side to side comparison coco removes more plaque and gunk.

I’ve been using Cocofloss since 2021, and it genuinely got me back into flossing regularly. It feels like it really gets into your teeth, even my dentist has commented on how good my hygiene has been!!! The flavors make it fun—coconut was the first one I purchased, but I just started trying banana and it's also fab. Only thing I wish is that the flavor was a bit more potent. It gets lost after a few teeth (but the starting flavor motivates me nonetheless).

Cocofloss is the only floss I actually enjoy using. I usually purchase in store, but generally would rather support brands directly by purchasing from the website. Shipping took 8 days, not terrible but not great. Packaging could be much smaller, shipping is $7. Tried out the coconut today, it smells amazing. I love that I can buy refills for the plastic shell, less waste that way. Overall, love love Cocofloss, but don’t know if I’d order directly from them again.

This floss makes me floss! Either I found this brand years ago or a dental hygienist told me about it, but either way, it is hands down the best floss. It's fluffy and strong, but still easy to get between my teeth. Definitely gets way more gunk out than regular floss. I've really only tried the mint flavor; anything else feels weird to me, I guess I'm traditional in that sense lol. I have also been using their electric toothbrush heads and they seem to last longer than the sonicare ones. This past order, I tried the mint toothpaste too -- I like it! I have really only been using it once a day, the other times I'll use a fluoride toothpaste (bc I feel like I still need fluoride?) TLDR love this brand, better dental hygiene because of it!

I like cocofloss! I think the product is very effective- no cavities or gum disease here!- and I enjoy the fun flavors, but I sometimes wish they were a little stronger. I like the smaller packaging that some flavors some in so I can easily throw it in a small purse without taking up too much room. It is a bit pricey so I do supplement with the free floss from my dentist but it is a good product overall!

I love Cocofloss, both the floss and the reusable flosser. Being honest, I can't taste a difference between any of the flavors, so I tend to just go for mint. The standout product is the kids reusable flosser. They don't advise adults to use it, but after reading why I decided to keep using it and replace the piece of floss after each quadrant. I used to use disposable floss picks but thought there had to be something more sustainable out there. Cocofloss was that sustainable option! There are rumblings online of them offering an adult version, but for now I'll stick with my mint floss and kids flosser.

This is my favorite floss that I’ve tried. I’ve been making more sustainable switches over the years. I always hated the idea of throwing away an entire plastic box each time I finished a spool of floss. I don’t love that the floss is made of plastic, but at least it’s recycled. It expands and gets a ton of stuff out of my teeth. I always get the mint flavor (I’m a subscriber). I’ve tried other ones, but I really can’t tell the difference. The flavor variety isn’t a selling point for me, but may be for others.
