Reviews mention

  • Gentle, sensitive-skin formulas
  • Transparent, clean ingredient lists
  • Effective barrier-repair serums
  • Accessible, widely available assortment
  • Mineral spf white-cast residue
  • Grainy, hard-to-rinse masks
  • Occasional pilling, oily textures
  • Inconsistent, funky product scents

Cocokind earns mixed-to-positive reviews: the brand is good for gentle, clean formulas that soothe sensitive skin—standouts include the Oil to Milk Cleanser, Ceramide Barrier Serum, Chlorophyll Discoloration Serum, and Revitalizing Eye Cream—yet efficacy varies and some products underwhelm. Reviews also flag sensory and design drawbacks such as grainy or hard‑to‑rinse masks, funky or earthy scents, oily textures, pilling, white cast on mineral SPF, and fiddly or cracking packaging.

  • This worked well for my friend so I gave it a try, but it caused a reaction on my skin and was a bit too harsh. I like that it came in a glass bottle and that the company promotes use of more natural ingredients, but sadly this was a miss for me due to my skin sensitivities.

  • This ceramide oil stick is gentle enough for my child and me. I even use it on my face. It’s unscented and doesn’t break me out or irritate my skin. Great for dry skin or eczema. It helps protect the moisture barrier.

  • I got the Ceramide Lib Blur Balm in the shade Be Bold. I was worried at first that it would be dark but it looks perfect! I am very pale, and this colour looks great. I also love that there is a little gap in the tube so you can attach it to key chains, etc.

  • What I liked: ❤️ The ease of accessibility. You can find Cocokind at Target, Thrive, Grove, and Ulta. ❤️The prices. If you are on a tight budget, this is a good option. ❤️As a brand, they are doing a great job with Transparency and Testing. What made me MEH: 🌱 Their ingredient choices are such a mixed bag. Some are awesome, some I personally wouldn't use. You can't just trust them across their brand completely. 🌱Their Sustainability is in the early stages. Not bad, not great. 🌱The Rosewater Toner. I like that it leaves my skin feeling refreshed, but don't see any difference on days when I use it vs days that I don't. What made me BLECH: 😩 The Oil to Milk Cleanser. It left a weird, tacky film on my skin. OVERALL: 👉It's a MEH. I don't haaaaate Cocokind by any means. I'd be curious to try (at least) 2 other products before giving it my Official Opinion. But is it the **bestest** option out there? At this point, probably not.

  • Love cocokind! Innovative products with an excellent price point. My favorite is the retinol body cream. It’s lightweight and hydrating with the right percentage of retinol for skin on your body. It’s easy to find and I love their moisturizer.

  • I love Cocokind! None of their products have let me down but it's their barrier serum that I'm specifically drawn towards. Gives me a really nice glow and feels great on the skin, even while using Retinol. Great price point and easy to locate at Ulta.

  • The Revitalizing Eye Cream is the only Cocokind product I've tried, but it's enough to get me hooked on the brand. The formula is somehow light and rich, which is great for someone like me with dry skin. I thought the metal applicator wouldn't really matter, but it really does give a cooling sensation on my undereyes that makes my nightly skincare routine feel that much more luxurious.

  • I am obsessed with this product! It was one I repeatedly repurchase. It the first step in my double cleanse routine when taking off my make up and washing my face. Once you put it on your face it melts the make up off instantly

  • I have been using cocokind products for more than 5 years and I love how affordable and gentle they are. My go to is the texture smoothing cream that makes my face feel super fresh. It is not a miracle cream and I definitely still struggle with dry blotchy skin but I notice my skin get worse when I don't use it.

  • Cocokind gets points for their brand mission, packaging, and company values. However, I have not been loving the AHA Jelly Cleanser. It is a low-foaming gel, I usually prefer foaming, and products like this are exactly why. I find myself using double the product amount because it seems to disappear once I start washing with it. I was warned about the smell while reading reviews, still I was unprepared, and I am not normally bothered by strong or strange smells. It is a bit like rotten grapes mixed with hot asphalt. I don't find it to be more effective, or even as effective, as other AHA washes too. Overall, if you can handle the smell, it is an average product. Nothing I would recommend compared to others on the market. 10/09/2025: Ordered the electrolyte water cream, it was delivered in 3 days. The cream is lightweight and still is moisturizing. Im going to try this out as my daily moisturizer! 03/30/2025: I’ve been using the electrolyte water cream since October as my daily moisturizer and I do love it. In the winter I found I needed something extra, but in usual California weather it’s great. I use two pumps for my face typically, it works amazing to sandwich retin-a between. I don’t find it to be clogging.

  • I ordered the calming magnesium mist, daily spf, and the hydration skin barrier set. I really do like the calming magnesium mist for pre and post workout, or even just throughout the day. It does hydrate my skin and helps calm any redness. I’ve been using the spf every day and will continue to. It doesn’t leave a sticky residue or a white cast. It’s a little pricy for a small container, but it’s okay because a little goes a long way. As for the hydration set, the cleanser is not harsh at all so it’s good for sensitive skin. And I really love the cream, it’s thick but makes my skin feel great!

  • I love everything cocokind. Their products, their mission, how they interact with their customer base, it is amazing. They really put thought into all of their products and keep their customer informed and included in product creation and conversation.

  • I’ve been a long time user of Cocokind and they are one of the most transparent companies I am a consumer of. I love that about them. They deliver consistent products for a great price point as well. That said, their stock and supply does vary a bit if you get attached to a product, but they are so consistent I’ll order any new launch instantly!

  • I have tried many many cocokind products over the years and the only thing I’ve been super wowed by enough to repurchase is the one- for-all balm. It’s hydrating and really helps with any dry and scaly patches of skin. The cute tube makes it easy to use and keeps the product sanitary which is not always the case with salve packaging.

  • Rich and buttery without feeling sticky, and it actually stays on for a long time. I like that it’s fragrance-free and made with clean ingredients. My lips feel soft even after it wears off. I use it as a keychain to keep it with me.

  • I like everything I've used from cocokind. I appreciate being able to find well made, affordable, cruelty-free products. I will be trying more items from cocokind for my skincare needs. The highlighters are really nice.

  • I got the COCOKIND lip balm in a really pretty pink color. I love that this lip balm is fragrance and flavor free. I love that they use clean ingredients! I love that this lip balm is cruelty free and vegan!

  • I've been following cocokind for awhile, and was influenced to try their eye options. Generally I have found both eye creams to be fairly effective, and the Revitalizing Eye Cream has an applicator that is super refreshing when it's hot or if you're feeling a bit puffy. (They do a good job on social platforms explaining the efficacy and pricing structure of their products, which is what hooked me.) Overall, I particularly liked that they're well-priced clean beauty products.

  • My skin was raw, red, and angry after a horrible breakout. This recovery balm was amazing and helped my barrier heal. It’s gentle and feels like it’s coating my skin with a soothing layer that doesn’t feel heavy. It’s inexpensive and effective - a great value. The only con was that it crystallized before I even used it. I contacted the company, and they explained that it was common and happens because they don’t include harsh additives that normally prevent crystallization. They also offered me a solution to dissolve the product back into its optimum state, but it was bit of a hassle having to do it. Aside from this, it’s a great product!

  • My aunt showed me cocokind and I have been obsessed with it ever since! The ingredients and price point are perfect, it makes it so easy for me to buy the products without feeling guilty since I am more of a budgeter!
