Cards Against Humanity

4.5
91% of reviewers would recommend to a friend
Cards Against Humanity wins big in reviews for delivering uproarious, easy-to-learn party play that sparks belly laughs, quick bonding, and late-night chaos—especially with larger groups and expansion packs—so yes, it works. Reviews also flag clear drawbacks: humor can be crass/NSFW and alienating for sensitive or mixed-age crowds, cards lose shock value with repetition, and some prompts feel dated or hard to play with certain audiences.

Fun game overall but it’s a little bit aged. Some of them aren’t super funny but it still is a fun game to play
If it was 10 years ago I’d be saying great. It’s just tired now.
This game can be a bit over the top with vulgarity.
Such a great and fun game that stands the test of time. I'm not a huge game player but this is one always gets my vote because it's not all that strategy oriented and can transform a dull party. Not ideal for young kids but I know that tweens/teens always want to sneak it out of the cupboard...

Great game to get you to unplug from technology and interact with you friends and have a good laugh. I do like the more adult cards for maximum laughs but classic is always a winner
If you don't like laughing hysterically do not play this game! Honestly, have had some of the best laughs playing this. Pro-tip do not play this with your parents lol
It's very US centric and sometimes it's hard for a non-white person to relate. It's sold universally but the content is not designed for all. Guess I need more varieties of this but as a game this is not as interesting as Monikers.
This game is a classic - there are so many variations of this game out there but I feel like Cards Against Humanity is one that I always reach for with my friends.
Super fun game for adults, even my game-adverse hubs has fun with this. Great break from the real world and all of the depressing news these days!
i really enjoy cards against humanity (CAH) and how they just follow the intrusive thoughts and run with it. i have the classic cards as well as many expansion packs and seasonal offerings. it’s a great game to play and it’s similar to apples to apples in a severely distressed way. this is not a game to be played with just anyone, it requires a specific type of humor. but once you find those people, you got this.

Don’t be put off by my three-star rating; this product has earned its reputation for good reason. It’s been a Thanksgiving tradition in past for us, and it’s always entertaining to watch how the older generation, like my parents, responds to its boldness. While some cards might push the envelope a bit too far, they certainly capture the spirit of a different era.

Usually a fun game to play at game nights with friends, but not a game you'd play over and over again. The novelty tends to wear off
We use these in my NA groups, it's actually pretty fun.
Great game and always guaranteed to get some laughs with friends and family on a game night.
This was so fun to play and hilarious.

I enjoyed this game when it first came out but now find it rather repellant. Part of it is once you play it a couple of times the novelty is gone and it just gets repetitive. The other thing is that we have witnessed so much hardship and cruelty in the past 7 years that the answers don't strike me as funny anymore.
Hot take but I....do not like this game. The number of cards that are not just edgily funny but sincerely deeply offensive is just too high, and the ritualistic act of filtering out the "bad ones" before a game is often such a tense display of virtue signaling that it's almost better to just play around them. Frankly not that interested: would rather hear my friend's really funny jokes than try to laugh at jokes that the cards made for them. I know it's a party staple but I'd be fine never playing again!
Such a fun game to play with anyone! Perfect ice breaker for family functions that need a little sparkle of fun and parties!
One of my favorite cars games of all times. This game has me constantly laughing and all my friends/family want to play! It’s great for larger groups too!!!
Super fun, the more players the better. Great gift for Christmas
