Canopy earns mixed reviews: many say its humidifiers and filtered showerheads work—quietly hydrating dry rooms, softening hard water, and improving sinuses, skin, and hair—while others report modest humidity gains and scent diffusion, noisy operation, flimsy-feeling parts, and hard‑to‑use controls. Reviewers praise dishwasher‑safe cleaning, tap‑water compatibility, sleek design, and easy installations, but flag off-button glitches, frequent refills and filter changes, large showerhead size and adjustability issues, decreased water pressure, and weak aroma output.

I was so excited to have access to the canopy humidifier through a thingdrop! I have been wanting this product for quite a while and immediately set alarms to make sure I could score one at such a great price. I chose the lavender color which is beautiful. The packaging it comes in is minimal and was all paper or cardboard products. Set up is insanely east and filling the tank is a breeze. One feature that has always interested me was the fact that all removable parts are dish washer safe which is essential for me with any humidifier. You can also use any type of water (tap, filtered, whatever) because it has a technology that apparently destroys bacteria which is comforting! It's def bizarre to not see mist coming out of a humidifier but you can feel it blowing air out if you wave your hand across the top. Im not sure if I've noticed a huge difference in my skin but I have had a dry nose with the cold weather season and this seems to help. I mostly notice that the air feels "silky", which is the best way I can describe it. I also think it seems to have a cooling effect. The size that was available through the drop is a nice size for space and aesthetic purposes, though it will run out before the night is over if you have it running at full blast. It lasts much longer if you have it on the lowest setting which I think is fine. I am pleased with this purchase and am only taking away a star because I don't think/or have noticed any groundbreaking skin effects! However I am sure it's doing something nice for my skin and breathing. I think I still would have eventually purchased this for retail.

I have 2 of the filtered shower heads and have been using the shower head for about 3 months. It is very sleek and aesthetically pleasing . So far I am very happy with it. The install wasn’t too hard, and I had no issues after I installed it correctly. I did it by myself and at first I didn’t screw it on correctly and I got sprayed. Easy fix though! I love the water pressure and shower options it gives. My only downside is that when I went to change the filter on the one I’ve been using the longest the part that holds the filter is completely stuck! I cannot for the life of me unscrew it. I tried it on my other shower head to see if it was just user error, but my other one screws off just fine. So my original must be a dud. I will be reaching out to customer support for help with that one. All in all I recommend the filtered shower head to anyone who has water that they want filtered before hitting their hair/body!

Installed the Canopy shower filter about a week ago and am loving it ! I was worried the water pressure would be affected by the filtering but it hasn't and I'm impressed! Water actually feels softer, we have very hard water , so this has made such an improvement!

We received the filtered shower head and it’s been great so far. We have hard water, and I have noticed improvements in my hair when I wash it now. The install was easy and the matte black fit perfectly in my space.

OBSESSED with Canopy - I bought their collab with Laneige (including the Canopy X Laneige Aroma Kit) and it made me a forever fan. Their humidifiers are a must for the winter months when everything dries out and the aromatherapy is like having an in home spa.
I love my canopy. The fact that you can put it in the dishwasher is a game changer. I also am set up on auto orders for new filters which is helpful so that it never gets gross.
Love our Canopy humidifier in our small apartment. The cool air actually helps to cool our apartment on a hot day. The subscription for the filters is amazing, without it I honesty would never change the filter. Not a huge fan of their oil and scents, honesty not worth it

I love my little humidifier. It’s the perfect size for my bedroom. I basically ran this 24/7 during the winter and it saved my sinuses. It’s super cute and I love that the filter is on a subscription so I never have to think about replacing the filter. The oils also smell lovely!
I have been using a canopy humidifier for four months now and it’s impacted my hair, skin, and even sinuses! In NYC, it’s cold and dry in the winter, so I’m happy to have a product that I can rely on. The essential oil tiles are an awesome little bonus. In addition, the humidifier it self is cute!! Not like the others at the store.

A night light feature would be extra cozy.
We got one of these while living in MA to help with the super dry heat in the winter. I LOVE how quiet it is but I was a little confused how it just kind of runs until the water is gone as to avoid mold.

I wish there was a setting to turn the humidifier off completely.
This is a great, easy to use humidifier that doesn't look out of place in a room. The subscription component is nice, although there are probably cheaper filters you can buy. It runs at a comfortable noise level for sleeping.

ok so i really wanted to love this brand and I must say it does definitely delivers on a few dimensions (namely anti mold which is a concern for most parents of young kids like myself)... the replaceable paper filter is a nice feature but the water compartment attachment to the unit is a bit 'wobbly' and in the tray underneath it does turn yellow (presumably from the constant contact to the water)... overall, I still think this is a good humidifier option
Love this humidifier so much! I have *a lot* of tropical plants and keep a humidifier running 24/7 to keep them happy. I’ve tried at least 5 different humidifiers before canopy, and I have to admit, I was apprehensive about canopy due to the lower capacity (meaning I’ll have to refill it more often). But this thing is SO easy to refill, it just sits flat in your sink. The smart censor technology is awesome, adjusting intensity based on my apartments needs. The top diffuser pucks are super cute too.

Nothing I can think of!
I’m convinced this brand enchants their humidifiers with voodoo as mine NEVER fully shut off. It doesn’t matter what setting it would always turn itself back on. Constantly needed water added, the smell of the tablets was awful, and they make you sign up for a subscription that’s near impossible to cancel. I ended up returning it after arguing with them and placing a BBB claim on them. Please save your money find a Vicks one at Walgreens and don’t let the beautiful packaging and marketing fool you.
Love the humidifier! The essential oils are a bit hard to use.

The Canopy humidifier has claims to be revolutionary in the market for a few reasons: (1) Mist so fine that you don't see it physically (2) Dishwasher-safe and mold-free water vessel (3) Unique filter that catches bacteria, metals, and other particles in the water before it is evaporated into the air. The cons: The material and construction of it isn't as high quality as expected for the price. And it's pricy. One of the biggest benefits of the filter is the fact that it doesn't require distilled water, like most of the humidifiers in the market (e.g., Levoit). I have 2 Levoit humidifiers, and I am constantly refilling them with distilled water - so much that I bought a distiller. This is much needed if you live in dry areas. Overall, I like this for the bedroom. It's effective and helps with sinuses during bed time. Such a time saver and huge convenience without worrying about filling it with distilled water.

I love love love my canopy humidifier! I recently purchased the bedside humidifier in the new colorway, Moonstruck, and it's so sleek and beautiful!!! I suffer from extreme allergies and the dry air in winter makes my throat and sinuses BURN, but this humidifier has helped me so much. I get way better sleep!
The Canopy Bedside Humidifier is a VERY expensive humidifier. Canopy recommends you replace the filter every 5–7 weeks. The filter replacement subscription will send you one filter every 45 days. The filters cost $10. Tax and shipping brings the price to ~$14. This means the yearly cost to maintain this humidifier is $112. If you only use it in the winter, then it's closer to $42. You might think you could save money by only running the humidifier at night and thus replacing the filter every 12 weeks, but in order to do that, you would have to refill the tank halfway every night so that it will stop running when it runs out of water. If there is any water left in the tray, it will keep running because standing water could cause mold to build up. It's not clear in the instructions that this is the case, so I spent awhile wondering why the humidifier kept turning on after pressing the off button. The change in humidity in the room was at best 5%. Without a humidifier, my room remains around 36% humidity in the winter. For the initial cost, you would think a sensor would be included, so you could set a % humidity for the room. Given my experience, I would choose a Levoit humidifier over Canopy. Levoit always ranks in the top three on Good Housekeeping and Wirecutter. - Their filters are $10 for a pack of 10 - Their run time is often 60H instead of 36H depending upon the model. - They can be turned off with water still in them - Many come with an app to adjust and track the humidity level All of these features and the models come in at $50 - $100! The only real pluses with Canopy is the lack of mist (which I don't believe mist is inherently bad for a humidifier), and it's more aesthetically pleasing than most humidifiers.

Love this clean product, and they have a subscription for filters so you never forget to replace. I have one for all my kids' rooms and myself. Glad to find someone disrupt this industry
