  • Quality candles with incredible, unique, and lingering scents. Not too overpowering and perfect for those who prefer a slightly more masculine scent. They last for a reasonable amount of burn time too ie not too quickly. I’m on my sixth Slow Burn candle ❤️‍🔥

  • I own "Italian Kush", and love the smell, but it is so overpowering. It gives off a strong smell even when not lit.

Make a more subtle version of the scents.

  • I used to like Boy Smells candles when they first started. They're really chic and used to smell great but in recent years the fragrances have started to smell more synthetic than they used to.

  • Delicious smell and perfect branding for a diptyque-lover-alternative

i wish they made a giant candle with multi wick

  • Obsessed with their branding and naming. The Kacey Musgraves "Slow Burn" Boy Smells candle is arguably the best candle of all time and you cannot change my mind.

  • I first received Boy Smells as a gift from a friend who is a scent connoisseur. As not quite a girly girly but still not a tom boy, the gender neutrality of the scents and their out-of-the-box complexity. They just feel emotionally layered (I know I'm talking about a candle). I've since moved on to other candles, but always am delighted when I receive these as a gift. I also send them out to others quite frequently for housewarmings.

    Love the marketing imagery always!

  • One of the few newer brands in the candle space that actually stands out. The packaging is perfect and they're consistently coming up with innovative scents. They're at the sweet spot for price point, and complement most any aesthetic as a home object.

  • I like Boy Smells, especially their new perfume line (it's delicious smelling, and mostly veers citrus-y and fruity), and I do love their candles. However, for sensitive noses, this isn't the best brand. My partner tends to sneeze whenever I light one of their candles. For those who want a scent to envelop their place, Boy Smells makes wonderful candles.

  • Top-tier candle for vibes. They aren't overpowering, too feminine, or too perfumey. Super smooth, sophisticated, and well-made.

  • great smell (was super skeptical at first due to the branding but ultimately not overpowering at all!) love the branding and uniqueness.

fabulous branding and great candle overall! keep innovating candle types & sizes for more diversity of options!

  • Love love love Boy Smells! Been using their candles religiously over the past 2 years, and have gotten endless compliments on my Cowboy Kush candle. Lasts over 3 weeks with daily use for about 2 hours per day, so pretty good value for the price as well.

  • Great smelling, long lasting candles for half the price of diptique, Aesop and others.

    No complains

  • Lovely. The fragrances were excellent and the design is so sleek! Great as gifts for friends of any genders.

  • Got a trio set. Super cute and small but smell amazing!! I love the branding and minimal design. Goes great on display and can be used as a small planter when finished.

  • The Slow Burn candle is a candle I ALWAYS have one of in the house. Nothing smells as good as that candle smells to me. (Sometimes I take a little bit of the wax and rub it on my wrists lol) I buy a magnum size of this candle and it lasts 6 to 10 months with proper use. If you're not a candle dork, like me, then I think getting one of the smaller sizes as a special treat that you light for certain moods would be a really great way to dip your toe into this brand.

Desperate for a Slow Burn perfume!!!!

  • My girlfriend gets these from time to time. They smell good, with Hinoki Fantome and Cashmere Kush being our go-tos. At $36 dollars minimum, they are entirely too pricey for my taste. Only get them on sale, or maybe as a special gift.

  • I love how unique and luxurious these smell

    Feedback

They tend to get black soot around the edges even when I trim the wick

  • The candles do not burn well (coming from a self proclaimed candle connoisseur) and the scents are overhyped and underwhelming. Branding and distribution are on point though.

  • Great smells, great burn time. Love that it's LGBTQ owned.

Expensive, but I'm sure that's part of the reason they are great candles.

  • range of great candle scents, esp for 420 friendly folks. i feel like there’s something for everyone. i also have their intimates and samples of their fragrances.
