Banza earns strong reviews as a high‑protein, gluten‑free swap that often tastes and chews close to traditional pasta and even delivers standout frozen pizzas, while many note it can overcook quickly, turn mushy or sticky, and some cuts feel fragile. Reviews of Banza praise the satisfying, protein‑dense pasta, kid‑friendly appeal, and tasty mac & cheese (notably White Cheddar), but flag inconsistent texture across shapes, occasional bitter/chickpea aftertaste, and spaghetti/linguine that clump or stay too firm.

Well, Banza is just OK. I tried the pasta and while that's wonderful it's made from chick peas, it just doesn't give you that great pasta feeling or taste. Expensive as well. It's hard to find good alternatives to traditional wheat pasta, so I'll keep looking. You should, too.
This is my favorite gluten-free pasta! It is great as a stand alone pasta and holds up well in casseroles. The high protein content is a bonus, too!
We absolutely love these! My son is celiac and these taste just as amazing if not better than gluten counterparts. Highly recommend for anyone especially those with celiac!
I'm a repeat Banza buyer because I'm gluten free and it's hard to find good gf pasta. I like the packaging and the ingredients - high protein because of the chickpeas. I'm not such a fan of their mac and cheese - it contains a weird white powder in order to cook the noodles, which turns into a weird jelly substance when you add water, which was a little unappetizing.
I like banza I think it’s a quality gluten free option. I like that it’s high in protein and it has a better texture than other chickpea pastas. You can still slightly tell that it’s made of chickpeas and that it’s gluten free. I appreciate that it is a convenient option

The pasta was good but I have a hard time justifying the price. There are products with very similar nutrients at lower prices.
The vegan banza was a shockingly good vegan and gluten free option. I tried it for the first time and didn’t have high hopes based on other brands I tried but it exceeded my expectations

I received these in one of my hungry roots boxes and it was just not at all a good. Maybe my expectations were too high but I would never repeat this purchase.
Definitely a healthy alternative but it tasted like plastic and playdoh. Weird smell after I boiled the pasta. I'd just stick to wheat pastas for healthy version
The pizzas are so good! They are gluten free, but they have a fluffy crust (as opposed to typical thin crust GF pizzas). I really like the pasta too. It’s high in protein but still tastes good!

Banza pasta is a game-changer! It tastes just as good as regular pasta but with the added bonus of more protein and fiber. Perfect for a quick, healthy meal that still feels indulgent. Definitely recommend giving it a try!
Love Banza as a brand! I’m gluten intolerant and have been on a food journey for the last two years- Banza is not only tasty but also very easy to make & comes at a great price point!
Loved the Mac and cheese till the viral videos about the banza products being carcinogenic came out…

It is kind of mind boggling how good the macros are on this for how close it is to regular pasta. If you're a pasta connoisseur and you're normally making fresh pasta you might notice a difference but if you're purchasing dried store-bought pasta at a pretty low price this is going to be virtually identical and pack way better nutrition.
I really enjoy the chickpea pasta. When eating Banza, I know I am not getting authentic Italian pasta, but I love that it is higher in protein and has clean ingredients that make me feel great.
Love getting more protein than regular pasta! I’d a bit hard to cook to ensure you get to al debate because not as straightforward as regular pasta. There are concerns of harmful ingredients in these

Banza is pretty decent. I most like the nutrition profile and that it has higher protein, more fiber and less net carbs. I like the Mac and cheese.

I wanted to love this but it consistently gave me an upset stomach.

Made from chickpeas, so it's gluten-free and packs more protein than regular pasta. The texture is solid - it holds up well during cooking and doesn't turn to mush like some other GF options I've tried. Taste-wise, it's nothing special, but usually that's fine becuase it's the sauce I'm about. It's a bit pricier, but the extra nutrition makes it feel worth it. Definitely a game-changer for anyone avoiding gluten or looking to get more protein into their meals. This is a staple for me and my gluten free life for sure.
Banza is a great alternative to regular pasta. The downsides are the consistency is a bit funny, and the taste is not the best. But when covered with sauce you can’t tell the difference.
