Banza earns strong reviews as a high‑protein, gluten‑free swap that often tastes and chews close to traditional pasta and even delivers standout frozen pizzas, while many note it can overcook quickly, turn mushy or sticky, and some cuts feel fragile. Reviews of Banza praise the satisfying, protein‑dense pasta, kid‑friendly appeal, and tasty mac & cheese (notably White Cheddar), but flag inconsistent texture across shapes, occasional bitter/chickpea aftertaste, and spaghetti/linguine that clump or stay too firm.

Love the sneaky protein so many of these products have! Lost a star because the pasta often boils over and leaves a weird residue
Such great products! There’s so many gluten-free products on the market that suck and Banza is NOT one of them. Everything I’ve tried from Banza has hit the mark and been so delicious.
I love this brand. Their foods taste great, are healthy, and don’t feel like a compromise.
Love the idea but the pasta made me gag. I hate the taste. Always looking for healthier alternatives but this isn’t it
I would love to try a couple more things before I make my final review. I had a box of Mac n cheese which I was excited for because cleaner ingredients. However, I was very disappointed in the taste. Since trying the Mac n cheese I have noticed more products they have and would like to try a couple more things before I forever stay away from this brand.
This brand has been a game changer as someone who is gluten/dairy-free. Love the pasta (although some shapes of the noodles get over cooked easily). They even have a Mac and Cheese that’s gluten-free and vegan; it’s good but it definitely has a fake-cheese taste.

For chickpea pasta, it’s great! Haven’t tried their other products but solid core product line. I think there’s definitely a difference between this and white pasta, but if you’re used to alternatives, this is a great option.

Every single thing I’ve had from them has been great. The pasta definitely has a rich, bean-like taste to it, but I personally love that flavor.
Great gluten free option! Tastes just like regular pasta.
My favorite alternative to ~real~ pasta. I have realized that the pasta works best for cold dishes (pasta salad) and stays firmer if you cook 1-2 minutes shy of the box directions and immediately rinse in cold water.
Look, this isn't one of those things where "it tastes the same as the real thing". It tastes like chickpeas. But honestly depending on the dish that can kind of work. I'm not using bana for something where pasta is the star of the show, but it's great for something in the "salady lunch pasta" genre
I was diagnosed with celiac 3 years ago and introduced to Banza shortly after. It was the first brand of gluten free pasta I had ever tried and gave me hope that I could enjoy modified versions of my favorite foods. The noodles don’t always hold up as well as other gluten free brands but they are still good!
Great way to get more protein in pasta or mac and cheese, and the flavors are great.

Big Banza fan. I've only had their pastas and rices and like those a lot. I've heard good things about some of their other products and have not reached out yet. Would definitely recommend giving them a try!

The texture of the pasta is pretty good. I've tried a few other pasta "alternatives" and this one is one of the closer ones to actual pasta. It's definitely not the exact same as regular pasta though and my boyfriend still makes his own wheat pasta when we make pasta dishes together. Overall, I think it's worth the slight textural sacrifice for the nutritional benefits but if I'm trying to make a super dank pasta I'll still opt for wheat over Banza.
Taste like Pizza Feels like no Pizza at all Amazing product

Im obsessed with all their products They all taste deli and healthy fun options for the ones that can't eat gluten or just want to balance diet
Definitely tasted like it was made from chickpeas. Wouldn’t eat if you’re trying to pretend or trick someone that you’re eating gluten.

Overall average product. The pasta maintains shape, doesnt get mushy, and cooks pretty fast. Overall though it has a pretty hard texture and bit of a lingering aftertaste. Does not hold up well for leftovers as once it's refrigerated it becomes very tough.

I havent tried the pizza, only the pasta. Packaging is great and easy to spot. If you have stomach issues with legumes, do not recommend.
Love having a high protein carb alternative that is also gluten free!

I feel like the pasta should be cooked for less time than directed but could just be personal preference
Very good alternative considering a gluten-free product. I love the chickpeas pasta and they work well with pesto or pasta sauce. I have tried the pizza too but not a fan of it. Overall my favorite brand for pasta currently.

Can be made better if avoided xantham gum.
