Reviews mention

  • Durable, lightweight nylon construction
  • Playful, distinctive prints selection
  • Compact, fold-flat portability
  • Surprisingly spacious interiors
  • Awkward, slippery shoulder handles
  • Light-colored fabric stains easily
  • Occasional tearing or fraying reports
  • Detached storage pouch misplacement

BAGGU earns rave reviews for durable, lightweight bags that fold compactly, hold surprising weight, and come in playful prints and smart styles like the Medium Crescent, Duck Bag, Cloud carry-ons, and fanny packs. Reviews also flag drawbacks: classic tote handles slip off shoulders, lighter nylon can stain or show wear, some standard bags or masks have torn or frayed, and detached storage pouches are easy to lose; a few note in‑store rudeness and over-frequent drops undermining sustainability ethos.

  • I LOVE my Baggu reusable bags. I carry one daily in my purse around the city so it's always handy if I stop to pick up groceries or have stuff to take home from the office. I have one that I use multiple times a week that is about 12-13 years old at this point and it's as good as new. It's really cute and also gets compliments, which is fun for a reusable bag. When it gets a little dirty I throw it in the washing machine. I love that these bags are compact, hold a lot of weight, are comfortable to carry and are cute. I have lost the little holder bag before (which is super annoying!) and I found out you can email the company and they will mail you a new one! I love that kind of customer service. I highly recommend this brand's reusable bags in all the sizes, but standard is my go to. I have put them in Christmas stockings as gifts before and they've always been a hit.

  • I’m a big fan of BAGGU! One of the first things I noticed—and loved—is their eco-friendly packaging. Everything is designed with sustainability in mind, which I really appreciate. On top of that, the products themselves are super durable, washable, and built to last. I currently own three medium BAGGU Crescent Bags and a BAGGU Blanket, and they’ve held up perfectly through multiple washes and lots of use. They’re surprisingly spacious and very fashionable—I always get compliments when I use them. I’ve recommended them to so many friends, and a few have even gone out and bought their own because of how much I rave about them! The only con I’ve experienced is with the BAGGU tents. Unfortunately, they’re not worth it in my opinion. Mine broke after just one use—even though I folded it back properly, the material gave out. BAGGU did refund me (which was great customer service), but it was still disappointing because the concept had so much potential. All in all, I highly recommend their bags and blankets—they’re practical, stylish, and built to last!

  • I'm a big fan of Baggu — both the products and the shopping experience. I have a few items and have great things to say about all: Recycle tote: Looks cute, sturdy enough for groceries, compact, I bring it everywhere. Picnic blanket: This was a purchase for a last minute picnic — texted the SoHo store staff to confirm the patterns available in store, they checked the inventory for me right away and sent me a picture. Comfortable and machine wash safe — 10/10. Laptop case: I don't think they're offering anything groundbreaking here, so it's a bit overpriced imo. Very cute and does the job well. Socks: Arguably the most comfortable socks I have, they last a very decent amount of time considering how much walking I do in the city, and they never slip.

  • I recently purchased the Bag Nylon Crescent Mini Bag in black, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice! This bag is not only stylish and chic, but it also fits everything I need for a day out. The compact design is incredibly deceiving; I can easily fit my phone, wallet, keys, and even a small water bottle without feeling cramped. The material is durable yet lightweight, making it perfect for everyday use. I love the sleek black color—it goes with everything and adds a touch of sophistication to any outfit. The adjustable strap is a nice touch, allowing for versatile styling. Overall, this bag has exceeded my expectations in both form and function. If you’re looking for a mini bag that combines style with practicality, the Nylon Crescent Mini Bag is a must-have! Five stars all the way!

  • I love, love, love my Baggu bags. I have three: one in all black, one in green and purple stripe and one that was gifted in a strawberry print. The striped one comes with me every time I have errands to run, therefore it is now called the 'errand bag'.

  • I have a canvas tote from this brand and I like it. I don’t really get the hype with their other purses though. I feel bad for saying this but a lot of them aren’t cute and the material doesn’t feel very nice

  • I’m a BAGGU girly FOR LIFE. I have many BAGGU bags for every area of my life. I take them grocery shopping and never leave home without at least one in my purse. Living in Philadelphia where there’s a plastic bag ban, it’s essential to have a portable bag on you at all times, otherwise there’s going to be issues getting your items home. I use mine on big grocery hauls, I take them to record stores, and even just to transport things from room to room in my apartment. The investment is worth it too. Not a bad cost for something that really holds up for years. Truly a great gift too. I even bought my mom and best friends BAGGU bags for Christmas!

  • As a longtime fan of Baggu's reusable bags, I've found them to be versatile companions in various aspects of life – from grocery shopping to casual gatherings and even as a practical crossbody bag. Their commitment to sustainability initially drew me to the brand, and the durability of their products has kept me loyal over the years. However, I've noticed a shift in their approach. Despite their stated brand values, Baggu seems to be releasing more collections, and this influx of new products raises concerns about overconsumption. While I still love their classic designs and utility, this trend has left me slightly conflicted. I hope Baggu remains true to their sustainability goals, ensuring that their expansion doesn't compromise the essence that drew many of us to their brand in the first place.

  • I think i have 10 or 11 Baggu's. In differrent sizes and colorways. I love the design. Easy to pack into a tiny cube and bring shopping - and still looks stylish when used. Is very durable and can hold heavy groceries without feeling like it's gonna break. Love their dead-stock concept of using leftover fabric in new styles.

A bit faster shipping would be nice.

  • Baggus make the best gifts! I've bought baby Baggus for every friend and family member over the years. My favorite thing to do is to buy a mix of ~10 prints at the beginning of the year to have on hand for last-minute gifts or surprises.

  • I bought the Mini Crescent Nylon Shoulder Bag and I ADORE it. I love that, like most of their bags, the strap is adjustable so I can wear it as a shoulder bag or cross-body bag. It's just big enough to fit all my essentials -wallet, phone, keys, mask. I also love that it's water resistant, bc let's be honest, spills happen. Highly recommend!

There are so many products I want to buy, but they sell out so fast and restocks take a while. So if you see something you like, don't wait on it!

  • i cannot go on the baggu website without buying something. it is a problem!!! the funky patterns and design of the bags make them irresistible. such a simple way to elevate from your classic canvas tote bag. honestly i would like to challenge others to go on their website and try to have self restraint!

  • sooo…i own 4 baggu bags and 2 of the grocery shopping bags (and hope to add to my collection soon). my boyfriend has the canvas tote. i can confirm i’m a true blue baggu addict, as so many of us are. the simplicity of their designs, variety of sizes you can select from, beautiful curated colors that are updated with each new season, sturdy fabric, and reasonable price point keep me coming back for more. every closet should have at least one baggu, if not five.

  • I. LOVE. THIS. BRAND. They were there for us shoppers long before we all needed to bring our own bags. Now I have 2 Baggus: a plastic foldable one that stashes easily in my tiny cross body (and great for anything that might spill), and a cotton canvas cross body with a classic check print that I literally take everywhere and wash over and over. It's become my weekend default bag, carry on (see trip to LA) and computer bag (The inner zip pocket is great). Their prints are lovely, the bags are of quality and last a long time. I've had my bags for at least 5+ years and still super cute and usable.

  • This brand has been on my radar for a while, I just have never pulled the trigger. I found a pack of three bags in store and thought I’d keep one and gift the other two to my mom and MIL. Great idea! I love them to stuff all the extra baby/toddler things we need for road trips and my mom uses hers for the things she needs to haul to and from her boutique store.

  • I looovvvee my Baggu cross body sling! It's my go-to bag. I specifically bought it to use while leisurely biking and it works great for that! It seems pretty indestructible and fits SO many items inside. My friend loved mine so much she bought it in a different color :)

  • I have the BAGGU fanny pack in purple. I use it everyday as a cross-body bag and constantly get compliments and asked about the brand. I also love my pillowcases from Baggu! Their patterns are so fun and add vibrancy to my space.

  • I love Baggu! They have a wide range of colors so finding something that doesn't clash with your aesthetic isn't an issue and they fold into tiny little pouches which is helpful for keeping your reusable bag storage area nice and neat or letting you carry it around with you in your purse or car. I got my first one as swag from my old company YEARS ago and it still looks great after many washes. I take it on trips with me more than grocery shopping and it always comes in handy, especially at the airport

  • Absolutely love my Baggu mini crescent bag. Super durable and can hold way more than I expected. I still have this bag years later and use it constantly. Great for travel since its so packable. I would like to get another!

  • Love my reusable shoppers for farmers market runs and how compact they are to stash everywhere. The handbags and totes are hit-or-miss IMO. The Duck Bag for ex is super cute in design, but is a little too deep for practical everyday use.
