Is Athletic Brewing good? Many reviews highlight Athletic Brewing as a top choice for non-alcoholic beer, praised for its authentic beer taste and impressive variety. However, some users mention the higher cost and a preference for hoppier flavors as potential downsides. The brand is widely available, making it a convenient option for those looking to enjoy a beer-like experience without alcohol. Overall, Athletic Brewing reviews suggest it is a strong contender in the NA beer market but might not be the best choice for everyone.

If you want an NA beer, this is the best I’ve found! There is no taste difference so it feels like you are drinking an actual beer. The price is more expensive than a light beer but about average for a craft or specialty beer. We drink these when we want to take a break from drinking but enjoy the taste during a football game. Highly recommend!
Decent … like the cerveza !
When I was pregnant this was a great option to feel a little more included when u went out with friends and my husband.
I'm not a beer drinker as-is, but I would pick this up over regular beer. With that said, I likely wouldn't purchase it again. It wasn't bad, it just didn't wow me as someone who is already a bit averse to beer.
N/A Beer IPA tastes nothing like an IPA
This is the best non-alcoholic beer that I've tried! All of the flavors are good. Even my friends who drink beer say they like this and enjoy to drink it.
I bought these as a gift for my BIL, a non-drinker. We were both pleasantly surprised by the robust ale styles and flavors. It is now my go-to beer purchase when I am looking for something 0% (well .5%) ABV. I'm thrilled to see it readily available in the DC area, but also find the shipping to be easy and cost effective.

Honestly, I have no qualms about it -- wish I could find it even more places!
Two words: "UPSIDE DAWN"!!! That is the jawn! Athletic brewing beer is a staple in my house! In fact, my wife, who hates beer, loves Upside Dawn I can finally have a beer with my father-in-law, because it's non-alcoholic! ALL the benefits of beer, WITHOUT the harms of alcohol! Low calories! Tastes better than the crappy Michelob Ultra or Miller Lite. Very refreshing no matter when you drink it!
Feedback
My only negative is stock-outs at my local stores! I'm not a big fan of "Run Wild", and I have yet to try their others because I keep coming back to Upside Dawn!
As far a NA beers go, this company is making the best tasting brews that are the most similar to a micro-brew.
Feedback
They tend to be foamy and the experience of drinking a full one makes me feel full and a bit bloaty. I would have more than one if they were more drinkable.

Still my favorite non-alc beer for the depth of its flavor. Compares favorably to regular IPAs in a way that doesn't feel like you're giving anything up. I'd drink these on a weekday or mixed with alcoholic beers to pace.
Really love the Upside Dawn golden ale and the lite "beer"! Great flavor and perfectly carbonated, they have really nailed the beer taste better than most other NA beers I have tried. Wish they stayed carbonated for a little longer, but that is my only complaint.

One of the best NA beers out there and widely available. Always a good go to at any bar. Their hazy IPA is so good, and their app is great for ordering and has a lot of exclusive flavors.

Great options that have all the flavor of "real beer". This is a great alternative for people who don't want to consume alcohol and I'm glad it's becoming available even in restaurants!

SO GOOD! My husband and I both love these products! The variety is awesome! The calorie count/nutritional content is also incredible - especially if you're working out and counting calories/carbs/macros/etc.
One of the better NA beers out there. If a restaurant today has a NA beer on their menu- more than likely it's Athletic Brewing. They are about as close as you can get to tasting like the real deal. Their flavors are pretty spot on to what they are supposed to taste like as well.
I'm usually not a big Beer drinker but I'm super interested in finding nonalcoholic options that aren't just sparking juice. When I did drink beer, I preferred dark beers like Guinness. This did taste like beer - just like a light beer. The one I had was very hoppy and light. There were also bubbles that made it fun. It's just not for me - only because of preference.
Feedback
I would love to try a dark beer version to see if I like it better. This was too light and too hoppy for me. However, if you like the PBR and other light beers, it might be a good substitute.
I first drank this at one of my favorite bars in Philly, Johnny Brendas. Did not expect it to be so good. Though I was wondering why I still had the Asian Flush? It’s because there are traces of alcohol! If you aren’t trying to drink any alcohol this is not for you.
Feedback
After that experience, would not drink again if I’m trying to cut out all alcohol out of my body. Great if you’re trying to take a break. Also N/A would still get you thick.

I had a can from my friend and was so surprised with their IPA! I hate IPA, I hate beer, but this stuff is so good WHAT IN THE BLACK MAGIC?!? Would definitely buy mors
LOVE that there is now a great tasting non-alcoholic beer option. And the fact that I can both order these (with instant shipping) to my home or grab one at a bar if I'm not feeling like drinking alcohol is amazing.

It's one of the first to market non-alc beers so it's usually found in most bars and restaurants. However, I'd say, as a previous regular alc beer drinker, Athletic Brewing lacks the deep flavors of a regular beer. It's fine but it's not the best. Heineken 0.0 tastes great and is actually 0.0 alc, not 0.5 like Athletic Brewing. Overall, I think Athletic Brewing is fine but there are better alternatives on the market and at your local brewery.
