Moku Mushroom Jerky
Experience
My husband and I got to try a variety of flavors of this mushroom jerky. All the flavors we tried were good. We had never tried mushroom jerky before, so we didn't know what to expect. Definitely a good snack to have on hand. It would travel well and be good for taking on outdoor activities, too.
Feedback
The texture is really good. A little more soft/chewy than meat jerky, but satisfies the same craving.
Pur Gum
Experience
Good gum. Good flavors. I've liked all the flavors I've tried.
Feedback
The flavor lasts an average amount of time. A good aspartame free option for gum chewers to freshen breath and just have something nice to chew on.
AWAKE Chocolate
Experience
These are tasty little chocolates that are infused with caffeine. The flavor is great, and they have a good selection of flavors. Nice treat for a chocolate lover.
Feedback
I couldn't really feel the caffeine energy boost. Maybe it's just super smooth and subtle. I tried these at work to see if they would give me an extra boost of energy or pep me up when the day started feeling really long...they were yummy, and MAYBE did something...but nothing super noticeable.
Health-ade
Experience
These are delicious, come in recyclable glass bottles, and are offered in many great flavors. My husband and I get these and drink about one a day when we have them at the house. They taste like a treat, but are healthy.
Feedback
I don't really know exactly what health benefit I get from them. It's nothing that you can immediately feel or anything (at least not for me), but I don't feel bad at all after drinking them and they taste really good. They almost have a little bit of an alcoholish taste to them, which makes it fun like you're ALMOST having a drink drink, but you know you're really not.
Spindrift
Experience
These are very tasty sparkling waters with actual juice for the flavoring and sweetener. Very good.
Feedback
They are not calorie free, so for me, I'll usually drink a flavored sparkling water instead, but these are really tasty and excellent for people who want the sweetness and taste of real juice.
Impossible Foods
Experience
I've had many an Impossible burger. They 100% could easily fill the role of conventional meat for me and I could eat these and never miss regular meat burgers at all. They cook just like regular burgers and taste great in any dish where you would normally use beef.
Feedback
They are definitely VERY close to a real meat burger, but that was almost a negative because I actually don't really like meat that much, so it was almost so close that I didn't like it. If I'm going to eat meat at all, I like it really well done, so when the Impossible burgers are really well done, like extra cooked, they are great.
SmartSweets
Experience
Really good gummy candies with no or low sugar. You really wouldn't know that they are even healthy when you taste them.
Feedback
Some have artificial sweeteners, which I'm not a fan of, but they still taste great and that's how they make them low sugar, so it's a worthwhile trade off.
OLIPOP
Experience
I've tried Strawberry Vanilla, Cherry Vanilla, Ginger Lemon, and Orange Squeeze. All of the flavors were really good. For flavor, I'd give them a 5 out of 5. The only reason I gave them a four instead of a five is because they are kind of high calorie compared to other flavored drinks that you can get for zero calories.
Feedback
These are really good. The only drawback is that they aren't calorie free.
Babybel
Experience
Babybel makes delicious little cheeses packaged in a little round wax wrapper that is fun to open by peeling it open. The cheese inside is soft and the perfect size for a snack. I love that you know exactly how many calories you're getting with each little cheese, and that they are consistently soft, tasty, creamy, and delicious.
Feedback
They also have little triangles of their cheese in different flavors. Everyone I've tried has been of consistently good quality, and they keep in the fridge for a pretty long time.
Something Sweet Dough
Experience
These are the biggest pre-made, frozen cookie dough cookies I've ever tried. They're ultra easy to make, and a lot of fun to do with the kids. You literally just have to place them on the cookie sheet and bake them and that's pretty much it. You can smoosh them down about 8 minutes into cooking if you like (because they fluff up in the midle), but they are going to turn out delicious whether you do or not. I made these with my teenager, my sister, and my nephews and everyone loved them. And actually, it was the kids that made them. Us moms just supervised, so basically, our kids made us cookies. :-)
Feedback
There are only about ten cookies in the package, which at first had me a little concerned that there wasn't going to be enough, but once you see how big they cook up, you realize that there will be plenty!
