Every time I have the opportunity to buy a Jellycat stuffed toy for a friend’s little one, I always do it. Jellycat’s toys are so incredibly soft and so incredibly cute! My husband always thought I was insane for spending a lot of money on a stuffed toy, (they are a bit pricey… some might say “over priced” for what they are) but when we found out that we were having a baby, he asked if we should buy them a Jellycat stuffed toy. Obviously, I jumped at this opportunity and showed him the wide variety of stuff toys Jellycat offers. Everything from bunnies to farm animals to under the sea creatures to stuffed toys in the shape of veggies and potted plants! They’re so freakin cute! We somehow opted for a mythical creature called a “Jub Jub” and he’s really strange but absolutely adorable! We hope when our little guy is big enough he’ll love to snuggle his Jellycat stuffed animal!

For years, I would see the babyshusher on my friend’s baby registries and couldn’t understand why anybody would need a little contraption that just makes a shushing noise. But when the time came, and I got to create my very own baby registry, I followed suit and added the babyshusher. Best decision I ever made! New babies cry… a lot… and the babyshusher has been a life saver. When we put our baby in his crib, we crank up the babyshusher for just 15 minutes and after only 30 seconds of “shush, shush, shush…” our baby is fast asleep. Miracle product! 10/10

    Simply Gum

Ah this wasn’t for me. I really wanted to like this but the gum had flavor for all of 30 seconds and then it was gone. I also didn’t like the consistency. They do give you wrappers to dispose of the gum. Really wasn’t into it. The gum also is an odd texture as well and doesn’t look totally like a standard piece of gum.

Product development should get back to the drawing board on this one.

P.M. Here we are again buying things solely based on their packaging! I mean look at this little compact of pimple star patches!? How freaking adorable! I’m going to try these out tonight and will give an update in the morning. A.M. Here’s the thing, I woke up looking like I have a very cool constellation of stars on my face. Taking them off, I’m not sure they actually did much of anything.

I love that Truff is a smooth and sophisticated kind of heat. It’s not one of those hot sauces that is just painfully hot with no flavor. I received a baby bottle of Truff at an event recently and now pour it on everything! Definitely going to pick myself up a big bottle. Speaking of the bottle, how cool looking! I love using Truff because it instantly makes me feel fancy! Pinkies up!

And the skincare saga continues… I have seen cocokind EVERYWHERE! My friends talk about it, my boss talks about it, even my mom talks about it! So when my go-to moisturize was sold out I decided to bop over to Target and try out cocokind’s texture smoothing cream and matcha stick! I love the smoothing cream, it’s light and so gentle with a barely their scent. I’ve continued to buy it and incorporate the cream into my skincare regimen. As for the matcha stick, I use it as a chapstick and it feels nice. Not sure if it was totally worth it, but no regrets there. Team cocokind!

People let me tell you about my best friend, Hero Mighty pimple patches! These are a godsend and help to literally dissolve stubborn surface level breakouts overnight! Seriously magical! I was pretty loyal to Korean skincare pimple patch brand, but these 1000% make the cut! This version doesn’t work on cystic acne spots but are still great for every other type of breakout. I know they sell other types and sizes of patches too which I need to get my hands on! Take all my money Hero!

I totally drank the Outdoor Voices kool-aid. OV is fun, color-blocky, high end and just all around cool. Definitely pricey, I invested in a whole OV set. There’s not a whole lot of stretch in there, the leggings sometimes slip down a little lower than I’d like them to and to be very honest I ALWAYS, without fail, put the leggings on backwards. They have the logo printed on the front and back of the inside waistband. I think the whole look is very chic and very matchy matchy. I would like to try their jackets and some not-so-form fitting pieces.

Huge fan of peanut butter cups so to find a low sugar alternative is always a good thing. Some of the "healthy candy" brands tend to taste like crayons, where Unreal does a pretty solid job of not tasting... crayon-y! I bought a bag of the Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups and ate them a little too quickly. I did manage to save 2 to photograph for Thingtesting!
