Tony's Chocolonely

Tony’s Chocolonely earns strong reviews for rich, creamy chocolate, inventive flavors like Milk Caramel Sea Salt, Dark Almond Sea Salt, and Dark Milk Pretzel Toffee, plus mission-driven, fair-trade sourcing. Reviews also flag drawbacks: some bars taste overly sweet or bland to dark‑chocolate loyalists, the thick, uneven pieces are hard to break and share, and concerns appear about heavy metals in certain dark varieties and salt intensity in caramel bars.

Heerlijke chocolade, ook vooral vanwege de belofte van bijna 100% slavenvrij. Dit maakt dat ik schuldvrij kan genieten van chocolade. Ik houd niet van elke smaak, maar de melkvariant is superlekker. Delicious chocolat, especially the promise of almost 100 % slave free. This allows me to enjoy chocolat guilt-free. I don't like every flavour, but the milk variant tastes wonderwel!

Graag een vegan melkvariant. Ik houd niet van pure chocolade. Please a vegan milk variant. I don't like dark chocolat.

I love this candy bar. I am totally hooked on it and its texture. Absolutely delicious.

Lovely brand with a great message. Worth the extra cost to support ethical suppliers. Great taste!

Love Tony’s chocolate. Creative and great tasting flavors and an amazing mission.

The absolute best chocolate! There is just nothing better taste-wise, and I love how the pieces break apart . Also great to know they are some of the only chocolate-makers out there producing responsibly.

Good chocolate! Just wish more companies would ditch the lecithens and emulsifiers. But I do appreciate the emphasis on ethical chocolate through the slavery-free farms. I like the size and shape of these bars as well.
These chocolate bars are very thick and very tasty. They have both classic favorites and some interesting combinations, especially in white chocolate if you like that sort of thing. I've also tried their advent calendar, which was huge and really fun. I don't know that I would just buy a chocolate bar regularly, but it's fun for a movie night and I would certainly get the advent calendar again.

I really love this chocolate bar! You can tell the chocolate is high quality by the taste and texture of it. The packaging design is also very fun! It is on the pricier side for chocolate but I think quality is worth it here and so is their mission behind the brand. I know I've seen sales on it at stores as well!

A good friend came back from a trip to Europe and brought this for me as a gift. She pointed out that the are available in the US but the one she brought was from Switzerland. It was amazing, if chocolate didn’t make my teeth hurt, I would have gone out and purchased more of these. My new life goal is to get my sensitive teeth fixed so that I can eat more of these and other amazing sweets. Highly recommend

Two stars for zaniness and company mission, but I found this to be terribly grainy, and couldn't bring myself to finish the (70%) bar. Also not a fan of the thickness of these bars – if you want a big, almost cubic chunk of chocolate in your mouth, then you'll be in your glory. Personally, I tend to like thinner pieces that melt evenly, and that let me snap just a little off when I need a tiny treat. Worth a try to see if it's your thing, but I think there are much better options out there. Which is a shame, because I'd love to buy regularly from a company that sticks to a noble (and important) mission.

Tony's chocolonely might be my new favorite chocolate. So rich and smooth tastes like happiness in a bar.

This is yummy! I feel good about the ingredients and the flavor is on point. It is easy to find and I have even purchased it in Europe. Highly recommend for a basic chocolate flavor profile. It satisfies the craving

I truly love every bar this company makes. Their chocolate actually tastes like chocolate: not too bitter, not too sweet. This flavor specifically is a good balance of salty and sweet. I love that the pieces are so thick. A luxurious experience!

Tony’s Chocolonely definitely stands out on the shelf—with its bold, colorful wrappers and strong ethical mission. You can’t help but root for a brand that’s trying to make chocolate 100% slave-free. That part? Totally admirable. As for the chocolate itself… it’s nice. Not mind-blowing, but nice. The texture can be a bit dense, and some flavors feel more experimental than delicious. If you’re into chunky, unevenly divided bars (which is part of their message), you’ll find it charming. If you like a smooth, melt-in-your-mouth experience, it might not be your go-to.

It's good chocolate for a good price. I'm more of a fan of dark healthier chocolate so I don't immediately reach for this, but when I have, I've enjoyed it. My son was a fan for sure. There are a few different flavors which is nice.
Bought several for family members as stocking stuffers. The chocolate bars were a big hit. I loved the one I had. Definitely high quality and great mix in options.
I have purchased these from whole foods and they are really yummy! A coworker also once brought in a variety pack and got to try a bunch of flavors! Great taste but can be a bit pricey for chocolate!
This is a nice, thick, creamy chocolate bar (I tried the milk chocolate one). It's really tasty and worth the price. The only downside is that it's a little thick for small mouths so I had to break it a little smaller for a child to eat but the consensus was this is a very good chocolate. I'm looking for the caramel sea salt one because I really want to try that next.
Super tasty chocolate & the packaging & colorways are so eyecatching & fun. These make for a really great gift.
Actually amazing and delicious chocolate, so worth it - my favorite is the milk caramel sea salt flavor!
