  • We have two dogs (Luciano (Luca) and Theo) and we have been Sunday's customers for almost 4 years. Luca is a 50lb mixed breed rescue and Theo is a 9.5lb Pomeranian. They both love Sunday's, and we never have a problem with them consuming their evening meal. I should point out that their morning meal is Farmer's Dog which we feed because its wet form allows us to mix supplements and pre and probiotic powders to the food which the dogs would otherwise not eat. But back to Sunday's. - we've had the beef, chicken and turkey flavors and all have been well received. Our preference is turkey. 5 stars on the food. When I have had any issue with deliveries because you are backordered or similar, your customer service response has been wonderful. Emails are always quickly responded to - usually within 24 hours - sometimes less. So, 5 stars on customer service. My only comment is more akin to a question. The turkey flavor pieces are usually nice and soft, not mushy in any way, but soft and fresh. I consider this a good thing, because it is easier for the dogs to chew and consume. Theo has a tendency to eat very fast and because he has such a small mouth, I prefer the soft pieces of the turkey so that he will chew it without woofing it down too quickly. However, the pieces in the chicken I recently received were quite hard, almost snappy when you break larger pieces into smaller ones. The question is: Is that normal for chicken? If yes, then I will likely stick to Turkey as the consistency of the Turkey seems softer and more digestible. If not normal, then was it possible that the chicken was not packaged as recently? Again, not a complaint - more of a question because the consistency of the two flavors appeared noticeably different. Anyway, Sunday's is a great product, admittedly easier to feed then Farmer's dog which requires some preparation (but both human grade products and of high quality), and our dogs love Sunday's. Luca and Theo are very happy customers.

  • We started Basil on Sundays for a healthier cleaner food and to slim her down. She is an English Mastiff and was weighing 176lbs. I took the time did the math and now she is slimmed down to 152lbs she loves the food, has lots of energy and is always ready for breakfast and dinner when it’s time. If you love your best friend be good to them. I know it is more expensive than kibble so mix it if you want to save a little.

  • I’ve been with this company for a few years now and I currently have no complaints. The dog food is amazingly high quality and my dog loves it. I started purchasing from this brand when my dog was having skin and digestive issues, but since starting Sundays for Dogs, she never been better! There was a brief time when there were issues with delivery but I was contacted by the company about that and they sent a heart-felt apology. Luckily at this time I wasn’t a new customer so luckily my orders get sent out first with all the other long time customers. Very happy with this company will stay with them forever!

  • I like that Sunday 's has clean ingredients and is air dried, so I don't have to refrigerate it. I also like that it's less processed than kibble. My dogs absolutely love the taste. The only drawback is that it is quite expensive to feed exclusively.

  • I wanna start with this product is amazing and exactly what I've been looking for for my dog. He is so picky and we've gone through lots of different brands of food that he'll start off liking but by the second or third time buying it is disinterested but that has NEVER happened with Sundays. He gets excited with every feeding and I feel good feeding it to him with the quality ingredients. My complaints are how long it takes to receive each shipment (over a week for me) I just wish there was an option for quicker shipping if wanted. Also the price is a bit expensive, I understand the high quality ingredients, but over $100 for a months supply of food is kinda crazy. I'm gonna buy it either way because my dog absolutely loves it it's just a lot at times.

  • Rusticle loves his Sundya beef recipe! He does a dance every time before he devours his meal. He is super healthy and loves his Sunday's beef recipe.

  • Our dogs absolutely LOVE Sundays!! They prefer it over every other food we have tried. Super nutrient dense and easy to feed!

  • My dog loves the food! Her bathroom is textbook. She stays very fit. I am so glad i did my research and chose Sundays. A Big Thumbs Up!

  • This dog food is so perfect for my golden. She slimmed down a bit and has been more energetic than ever! My vet agrees that she is in the best shape ever since starting Sundays for Dogs!!! Seeing my girl in the best shape is worth it! 💛

  • Sunday’s For Dogs has the worst customer service. My pup likes the dog food but it has issues. 1: It breaks apart and you lose quite a bit to crumbs and dust. 2: I have had a problem with it being moldy.. 3. The website is difficult to work with. It’s so limited that you either join and pay or move on. There is no room for any logical discussion or question. They have a chat that has never worked for me. I’m always told by a recording that due to whatever reason this week their service is not in order at this time and email them. Once you email all you get is basic letters stating they don’t know your account or you ordered twice. When you did not. Creating double charging and extra bags generated for the month. I attempted to replace my expired credit card without success. The website became jiggy and wouldn’t finish. Unfortunately I tried several times… don’t do that. According to Sundays every time I entered my credit card to pay On My One Account I generated a new order and a new account (for the same dog). In turn they sent me several bags of food and charged my card several times at $116.00 a bag. I contacted them repeatedly. Chat did not work, the phone lines pick up and inform you they are not working at this time. Emails returned to me stating a generic reply. Later I would receive emails back stating they can’t find my account. Then they found the account after I continued to email them. That email stated I have three accounts. I went back online to see what was going on and of course I only had one account. Which is now canceled. BEWARE OF THIS BOUTIQUE SCAMMER CON COMPANY!

  • I am so upset with this brand right now. I ordered this food over a week ago they said it would arrive yesterday. Now they tell me it hasn’t shipped!? I order my dogs food and so planned on having this available. The Farmer’s Dog, Ollie, Spot and Tango have used them all for different dogs but never experienced this it is disgraceful! Not like you can buy it at the store. The best of all is I can’t even talk to a person all emails and texts only. Terrible way to start off a new customer, the only reason they get a 2 is because I haven’t tried the product!!!

  • Though my dog loved the food. I had an issue with shipping/timing. I sent multiple emails and texts to Sundays for Dogs- using the contact information that they provide and NEVER received a response. Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service I would NOT recommend this product for this reason. It doesn't matter if the product is great, if you don't have the staff to support your subscribers - and it is NOT inexpensive.

  • Good food. Horribly run company. Website and ordering system is terrible and skewed to confuse and place orders that you didn't even know were there or if you changed them they still charged and sent. There pretty much is no customer service. Impossible to get help. They have an email address and also a phone number but neither provide help. You're on your own and keeping your fingers crossed that things work out is not a good way to do business. I gave it a couple of tries, but my experiences only got worse with subsequent attempts to work with them, they get complaints and give apologies but never improve anything. Not worth the space in my brain to try to keep track of what is going on with my orders or try to change them, or get help from the company. Too bad, food good, everything else is very bad. They need new management.

Hi Vicki! Thank you for sharing your honest feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear about the frustrations you’ve faced while trying to manage your orders and get support from us. Your time and peace of mind are incredibly important, and it’s disheartening to know we’ve fallen short in providing the seamless experience you deserve. We’re glad to hear your pup enjoyed the food—that means a lot to us—but it’s clear that the issues with our ordering system and customer service have overshadowed that. We’ve rolled out upgrades to our web experience in the last month and will be releasing more updates to improve ordering and account management. This will also help free up our Customer Care team. We want to assure you that your concerns are being taken seriously, and should you be open to trying our food again, we’re committed to making meaningful changes to improve our systems and service.

  • My 4 year old mixed breed is the pickiest eater! I’ve tried at least 6 different types of very expensive dog food and he’d leave it all day and refuse to eat it. Sundays for Dogs is the first food he actually gobbles up as soon as it’s in his dish!

  • We absolutely love Sundays for Dogs! For the past year, it’s been the only food my dog will eat, and trust me, she’s a picky eater. Before we found Sundays, she often threw up after meals due to allergies, but since switching, she hasn’t thrown up once. She gets excited for every meal! I also love that it’s human-grade and easy to store—no freezing or refrigeration needed. The only downside? My dog is allergic to chicken and eggs, so we’re limited to the beef option. It would be amazing if there were more flavors, like fish, or turkey without egg. Overall, it’s a fantastic product that’s made a huge difference in my dog’s health and happiness! She’s always full of energy and her double coat is always soft and shiny.

  • Hi-I know a lot about Dog Food and have educated myself in detail, for many years. With that said I have made it my personal goal to never stop learning. New puppy and needed food I could also use for training, tricks, food games for meals and travel. Bottom line, AIR DRIED **Top six attributes for my decision 1. Superior ingredients 2. High-protein percentage 3. No useless (cheap )fillers 4. Vitamins and minerals from Whole Foods (no synthetics) 5. Easy delivery to pup (stated above) and soft without crumbling 6. Great Customer Service There you have it, final decision - Sundays Food for Dogs (Beef) This food has many more attributes but didn't wanna make post even longer. Food is expensive but well worth doing without a few luxuries so I can feed this to my Aussie Pup Taronga!! Seven months on Sundays and happy to report he is a healthy, thriving, happy, shiny coat, great poops and bright eyed no issue pup. Lucky him Lucky me. A Heartfelt Thanks to Everybody at Sundays * ** A problem with very late delivery (twice) but they worked it out and all good since then * ** one food delivery was not soft as usual and they solved the problem ***This tells me Sundays cares about their customers, and listens as well as taking care of the problems.

  • I now have TWO deeply disappointing experiences with Sunday's for Dogs, in the span of 6 days. On July 31st, I received a confirmation email that I had successfully skipped my upcoming order and wouldn't receive it until September. However, on August 6th, I was shocked to find out that my credit card had been charged $199, and my order had shipped. Despite my repeated attempts to reach customer service, I was only offered a measly 20% off my next three orders as a remedy. After escalating the issue to the BBB, I finally received a response from customer service offering me a store credit, which I reluctantly accepted, along with canceling all subscriptions. I have email confirmations of these cancellations. But the nightmare didn’t end there. On August 12th, I received an email stating that yet another order was on its way. They claimed it was a backordered item from June, but I had already received two orders since then with no communication about any backorders. Who charges a customer months before shipping an item, especially without any prior notice? To top it off, customer service is now only offering me a full refund to my credit card if I go out of my way to find an animal shelter and provide proof of donation. At no point during my cancellation was I informed of any ‘backordered’ shipment. This company is a complete scam. They make it impossible to remove your credit card from your account, and their customer service is atrocious. I’ve been charged $400 for unauthorized orders in just 6 days, despite multiple email confirmations of cancellations. And now, I’m being forced to jump through hoops just to get my money back. I strongly advise against ordering from Sunday's for Dogs. There are plenty of other 'clean' brands out there with better ingredients and far superior customer service. I plan to switch to Yumwoof. DO NOT order from this company! Don’t be fooled by their generic responses to negative reviews. They do not respond unless you contact the BBB.

Gabriella, I could have written the same exact review and occurrences about my experience with Sundays. their customer service is pretty much non existent, they never get my questions right, and never resolve issues. They gave me a phone number but when I call, the message says they're too overwhelmed with calls at this time and can't respond to any customers inquiries, but the were very clear that they are so so sorry about the inconvenience or some kind of crappola like that, and then disconnect the call. In other words, there is no help at all with Sundays. Their website is a disaster and does seem like a scam, it's impossible to work with, confusing, and, yes, they seem like they're set up to automatically keep charging you and sending you orders even after you try to change frequency of orders, or change them, or skip them. The dog food is good, but the company and their system are totally dysfunctional. I wouldn't be surprised if they fold in the not too distant future.

  • Our 2+ yo GoldenDoodle really likes Sunday’s Chicken. When we decided to try Sunday’s we followed the instructions on the transition, after the second meal he ate only the Sunday’s & left the former kibbles in his bowl. He is always excited when the new shipment arrives. Our Vet congratulates on his wellbeing and advises, “you are doing the right things, nutritionally.”

  • Sundays has completely changed my dog's life. He has a thyroid condition and he was 30 lbs overweight. I tried so many different food brands and landed on this one because of the ingredients, processes, and convenience. He's now 30 lbs lighter, his eyes are brighter, he's active and happy!! He's turning 12 next month and I am 100% certain that this food extended my dog's life. Thank you endlessly, Sundays! *Photo is June 2020 - May 2023 *He started eating Sundays June 2022 but I don't have any good photos of his entire body during that time. Y'all will have to trust me that he looked like the left photo when he started. ;) (He did, just more grey!) *All I changed was his food!
