Sundays Reviews

3.7

Sundays reviews show the brand works for many picky or sensitive dogs—owners repeatedly praise ingredient quality, digestibility, and that dogs ‘love’ the food—but the brand struggles with unreliable fulfillment and inconsistent customer service. Strengths include palatable, human‑grade recipes that improve coats and digestion; weaknesses center on frequent shipping delays, website/account glitches, and occasional stale or spoiled bags.

  • I like the thoughtful packaging seal. Easy to open and seal to keep food fresh unlike other brands. Not the cheapest and after months, my dogs’ allergies show no improvement. Customer service was practically non responsive, never bothered to return my email. Most scary of all, food has inedible stuff in it. Make sure that you check the food before giving it to your beloved fur kids.

  • My dog goes crazy over Sundays and I feel confident that I am feeding her the best food she can eat. The ingredients and human grade, not heat extruded, not full of additional supplements, and makes feeding simple. Instead of buying toppers, supplements, and other potions to give to my dog, I just give her Sundays every day and know all her bases are covered.

It's expensive, but the price reflects the quality. Compare to Honest Kitchen for example - they make a human grade dehydrated dog food that is expensive and is a great product. However, they have to add a lot of vitamins and minerals to the dogs food as supplementary nutrition vs getting those vitamins and minerals from natural bioavailable sources like Sunday does with organs, vegetables, grains, fruits, etc.

  • My dog ended up in the ER due to switching foods, I would be careful of these fancy brands it’s just false advertisement, my dog was fine but thought we can do better on a diet was severely dehydrated, vomiting, gastro issues, costing over $600 in emergency fees and medication

  • I'm very dissatisfied with the final customer service. I was seeking a return/refund after being charged a ridiculous amount for a small yellow 12 oz bag of air dried beef (trial) and a 36 oz blue bag of chicken recipe. My Bank was charged around $75 when I received the 36 oz bag.....my mouth dropped. Who can afford to pay that for that amount for 36 ounces!!!! I'm a Senior and made the mistake of online ordering.....it simply out of my $$ range. I got a small $15.79 refund for the 12 oz trial but would not be given a refund for the 32 oz. "However" if I can get the bag to a shelter and get a receipt & get it sent to Sunday's THEN they say they will give me a 50% refund of the $75. Now I don't have s car and its hard to get around for a Senior. Not to mention the single and double digit cold weather we are having. I still cannot wrap my head around the fact that 48 oz of dry dog food is being sold for almost $90. That's with free shipping....but still is outrageous! It would be so much easier to just setup a post office pickup....why can't companies see where they can do better for seniors or anybody for that matter. BUYER BEWARE unless you have a fat checkbook.

In their own words

Sundays for Dogs is on a mission to make life with a dog easier and more awesome. Co-founder and Chief Veterinary Officer Dr. Tory Waxman created this 100% human-grade, synthetic-free, air-dried dog food because she didn't want dog parents to compromise on quality or convenience. Sundays for Dogs is crafted in USDA-monitored kitchens in the USA and is naturally complete and balanced, meaning nutritional standards are reached solely through a short list of all-natural, high-quality ingredients.
