The Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm formula is one of the best I’ve tried. It’s rich, hydrating, and leaves my lips feeling soft without being sticky. The Iced Coffee flavor is subtle with a cozy coffee scent that’s perfect for everyday use. It gives a beautiful glossy finish, too.

I really do like this butter balm and it’s the first butter balm I’ve ever tried before. I have the brown sugar. And despite it being like a gloss, it still has that color change to my lips, which looked very nice for my skin tone. The overall field to the butter balm was that it felt like a regular lip gloss. It smelled pretty good as well. Would I say if it’s worth $24? I feel like we could probably find another product that’s a lot more similar or if they could just lower their prices but overall, I think it’s pretty good use for a lip product.

Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm melts in smoothly and does deliver real, lasting hydration — lips stay soft for hours rather than needing constant reapplication, and the tinted shades give a nice your-lips-but-better flush without looking glossy or sticky. The tradeoffs: it’s genuinely expensive for what’s essentially a tinted balm, the squeeze tube format makes it easy to overdispense and waste product, and the scent (vanilla-forward) can be a bit much if you’re sensitive to fragranced lip products or reapplying often throughout the day. It’s a nice-to-have rather than a must-have — good if the price doesn’t bother you, but there are cheaper balms that hydrate just as well without the tint.

I love this lip balm. It's kind of like a lip balm and lip gloss combined. I have the pink one and it smells just like cotton candy. This product lasts a long time so I would say its worth the upfront cost.

I did get this product for free as a Sephora birthday gift and I have actually used it a lot, which I don't often do with the Sephora birthday gifts. Great formula. It does make me feel a little bit "hello my fellow kids" but I think I would actually buy one when I run out.

I got the regular vanilla scent and it was very good quality. I can see why it is hyped. The texture is glossy and smooth, not greasy. The smell is really nice too. I wish the packaging was a little cuter but I still like it!

The colors and flavors are great - consistency is just right. Not too sticky, but high on the shine/gloss. The only thing is that the tube is low quality plastic and the applicator breaks off or cracks which leaves my bag a mess.

I used to consider the Jet Lag mask a standout, but there are so many comparable products from other brands now that it does not justify its price tag. And I really do not like the lip butter that I purchased - too thick but still not particularly moisturizing.

Yummy and long lasting. The lip glosses are higher quality than others and have creative flavors. I want to collect them all!! You can get them in Sephora, on their site or other places. I love buying the gift boxes.

I've only ever tried their lip butter balm, I have quite a few "flavors"/scents, and they are good I would say more moisturizing than the Rhode ones and sticky but not my favorite out of all my lip balms. In a pinch its great. My favorites are the Sweet Mint and then a tie between Pink Sugar, and Vanilla Beige. They do have good color too.

Two of my favorite products on the market-- The Lip Butter Balm and the Jet Lag Mask!! The balm is just the perfect thickness and really lasts for so long. The colors are all perfectly pigmented and actually stay. The jet lag mask is SO hydrating and thick. I use it as my normal night cream in the cooler months.

I own several Summer Friday lip balms and in all honesty, they’re okay. Nothing life changing and probably wouldn’t repurchase. It has a smooth consistency but I don’t find them long lasting and it tends to leave these sticky residues on the corner of my lips.

I begrudgingly admit that these are worth the money. The Jet Lag Mask is a lovely, soft, creamy texture and super hydrating. I got a minis set of the lip balms last year and I think they're the only balms I've actually used all the way to the end - I would say they're medium quality, but I love the flavors/scents. I'm not in love with the price, but I do enjoy the products when purchased in a value set.

Am I the only one who thinks this lip balm is incredibly overrated? I found it to be completely unspecial and overpriced. The color is nice but the texture is not worth paying $20 for. I found myself reaching more for my $7 aquaphor.

I received both the jet lag mask and the lip butter balm in brown sugar for my birthday, and I LOVE them both! The lip balm is so hydrating, and I love that the shade is buildable since it's such a flattering color. The jet lag mask really quenches my skin which is great in both the summer and cold windy days!

I really like the lip butter balm from Summer Fridays, but I do think there are equivalent products out there for less! The shades of the balms are very flattering, and it feels moisturizing without being sticky.

my all time favorite lip product I own in every single shade! I keep it with me wherever I go, and it is perfect for both hydration or the perfect lip combo. My favorite is pairing the clear shades like pink sugar or vanilla with a neutral lip liner for the best lip combo, or shade poppy is amazing on its own

This butter balm is sooooo nice and it does not make my lips feel sticky. I also like that the color on the balm isn't so bright. I like a muted glossy look and this butter balm delivers just that. I recommend

Let’s talk about the Jet Lag Mask first — it’s solid. Definitely hydrating and I love the packaging. It’s slim, travel-friendly, and fits perfectly in a purse or cosmetic bag for quick use on the go. That said, I’ve used more moisturizing formulas that give me that “deep hydration” feeling. This one’s great for a quick refresh, but not what I reach for daily when my skin needs serious moisture. As for the Lip Butter Balm, it’s… fine. It’s cute, smells nice, and looks sleek, but for me, it just doesn’t deliver enough hydration. I’m more of a Topicals kind of girl — I like that slick, hydrated, glossy-but-not-sticky look, and Summer Fridays doesn’t quite hit that mark for me. Verdict: Both products are nice and definitely aesthetic, but they don’t earn a permanent spot in my daily lineup. More “good to have” than “can’t live without.”

This brand lives somewhere between fun & convenient beauty and mild skin care. Expect pleasantly hydrating lips, a bit of glow, and easy-to-use masks/tints that make you feel a little fresher. It’s more “self-care vibe + aesthetic + light hydration” than clinical-grade results.
