I've been a chronic nail biter / skin picker for most of my life, and before my wedding I was committed to kicking the habit and invested in 2 things: 1) Russian manicures, and 2) this hand cream. I really did see a difference, both in the moisture levels of my hands and the health of my cuticles from using this hand cream. I originally kept it by my bedside but now have it on my desk for easy access throughout the day. Deducted 1 star because as luxurious as the packaging is, it is still pretty expensive, and I don't know if I would buy again for myself (though refills help that equation!). It would, however, make a delightful special gift for a friend.
So I’ll be honest the first time I bought this hand cream was purely for the packaging (the fact that the lid is magnetic is a really nice touch). I am just a sucker for beautiful packaging especially when it sits on my night stand. Secondly I’m in my 40s and I’ve noticed my hands aging. I had never regularly used hand cream before and the fact that this has retinol seemed like a good option.
My initial reaction after using the product for the first time was “this is really nice but can I really justify the price?!” Well this is my third refill so clearly the answer is YES.
I absolutely adore the scent and it absorbs nicely. It’s the only hand cream I have ever consistently used in my life.
love the design of this hand cream - from the honeycomb shape, to the magnetic lid for rings, to the airless pump design feature. rubs in well without leaving a greasy feeling and smells nice too. one pod lasts me several months using it a few times a week.
I've been interested in the Soft Services buffing bar for a while and I really wish I'd tried it earlier — it's such a great product! I tend to get pretty bad ingrown hairs on my legs and my skin is easily irritated when shaving. This bar feels luxurious, and the banana leaf scent is really nice without being overpowering. I love that it foams up and feels like using a fancy bar soap, unlike many other exfoliators I've tried. It leaves my skin extra soft and helps me get a cleaner shave with less irritation. One tip: if you're getting the buffing bar, I'd invest in the dish as well. It's really well designed and seems to extend the life of the bar.
I also tried the scented Theraplush hand treatment and it's the perfect remedy for dry hands. I've tried tons of different hand creams (Caudalie, Gold Bond, Neutrogena, etc.) and this one takes the cake! The dispenser is easy to use and I love how it looks on my nightstand. I'm getting one as a gift for my mom, it's the perfect way to elevate a daily routine!
Soft Services has quickly become one of those brands I just trust (and I think this is why you should too).
I started with the Theraplush Overnight Repair Treatment and have gone through both the original formula and the new Hold version. I love everything about it. It goes on thick but somehow never feels heavy, just really hydrating and comforting. My hands feels softer after using. The packaging is *chefs kiss*. It literally doesn’t even look like it holds medicated hand lotion! I keep one at my desk and another at my bedside because it has basically become a staple in my routine.
Then there are the buffing bars, which honestly blew me away. I picked up Green Banana first and still can’t believe how spot on the scent is. It smells exactly like a green banana in the best way. The newest one, Affogato L’Orange, I think, is even better. It’s this wild mix of chocolate orange and espresso that makes me want to use it just for the scent alone (and I really hope others will give it a shot too). Beyond smelling amazing, the formula is wonderful. It exfoliates without ever leaving me scratched or irritated, just smooth skin that feels cared for. I have tried other buffing bars that literally hurt to use (like have left LITERAL scratches!! I want to name names but I’m being nice!), so this feels like a luxury.
Overall, I adore everything I’ve tried from Soft Services. The quality, the attention to detail, the packaging… it all feels luxe but not pretentious, and it actually works. I’ve already gifted products to friends because it is the kind of brand you want to share with people. I am excited to see what else they release because so far it feels like they can’t miss.

Love theraplush! It has become a beloved step in my nighttime routine. I had issues with dry skin in the past and would often pick at my nails. This hand cream not only makes my skin feel smooth and hydrated, but it has completely eliminated the dry skin around my nails that used to cause me to pick at my skin. My hands look so healthy! I think for me, the best part about theraplush is that it's so easy and pleasant to use, I love keeping it on my nightstand, the outer packaging is beautiful! This is one of my go-to items for gifting, everyone who tries it gets hooked! I started with unscented but really love the "hold" scented version now, it's such a soothing, mild scent that's perfect for bedtime.
