Reviews mention

  • Tasty low‑sugar candies
  • Nostalgic flavor recreations
  • Bright, fruity flavor profiles
  • Convenient portioned packaging
  • Extremely sticky texture
  • Inconsistent chewiness firmness
  • Sweetener aftertaste lingering
  • Potential gastrointestinal discomfort

SmartSweets earns positive reviews for genuinely tasty, low‑sugar takes on nostalgic gummies like Sweet Fish, Peach Rings, Sourmelon Bites, and Red Twists; it satisfies cravings and often avoids “fake” sweetener aftertaste. Reviews also flag real drawbacks: many candies are extremely sticky or tough, flavors can be inconsistent with occasional stevia/allulose aftertaste and GI upset, and portions feel small. Overall, SmartSweets is good if cutting sugar, but texture quirks and formula variability make it a compromise for purists.

  • I've been watching that one glass blowing show on Netflix so I've been craving gummy candy and these did the trick. Ya know, when they are blowing glass and pulling cane and it looks like a gummy? The peach rings are my favorite. Great flavor.

    Feedback

The bag is so small, would love slightly larger portions.

  • These are good and way better than the old school sugar substitutes that would wreck your stomach.

    Feedback

    Bigger package options

  • These are not for me. I really wanted to like them, I love how innovative the flavors are and the variety of candies. I just can't get over the fake sweetener taste and the texture of some of them is off.

    Feedback

The texture of some of them are weird and the fake sweetener taste is very strong.

  • No, just no. I personally love healthy foods/snacks and am accustomed to the "healthy flavor" that turns some people away. That said, these are just not worth it. I tried out the peach rings and they just don't taste anywhere close enough to peach rings to hit your craving. I think I'd rather just eat one peach ring for the same amount of sugar and move on.

  • I love these but they are SO expensive. It was more reasonable It would be in my sweet tooth rotation but since it is not I just do not grab for it.

  • As a self-proclaimed candy addict, SmartSweets has been a great find. No, it doesn’t taste exactly like the real deal, but it’s close enough to satisfy a craving when I’m trying to be more mindful about what I’m eating. The portion size is definitely on the smaller side for the price, but I still think it’s worth it if you’re looking for a lower-sugar alternative that doesn’t feel like a total compromise.

  • I love these sweets!! Such a great alternative to high sugar candy. They have so many different variations of candy. I think they all taste amazing and not overly sweet. I like that you van get them almost everywhere.

  • I love candy in a way that may be concerning to some. so when I first heard of smart sweets I was excited thinking at least I’d have an option that would at least seem healthier. unfortunately it’s the consistency of smart sweets that’s just off putting. it’s as though they’re not a true gummy— they’re tackier and get stuck to your teeth in a different way (I mean not in the “oh i’m ripping out my teeth” way that some gummy candy does— which I honestly kind of like occasionally— much to the dismay of my dentist) but in a way where you bite in and your chewing is also an attempt to remove them from your teeth. I find them not candy enough, not fruit snack enough and not dried fruit enough to satisfy what i’m wanting. I wish they were—the peach rings are better than the swedish fish, but I think ultimately just make me crave real peach rings more.

  • I wish that I could like Smart Sweet more. I personally don't like having too much added sugar and wanted to try this out as a nice, "reduced sugar" solution but the texture is a tad too sticky for me! It's a bit hard to chew sometimes. I love the flavor though. If there was a jelly version of these flavors I'd buy it.

  • Taste great! I just got a bit of a stomach ache after - probably from one of the ingredients

  • Ok these were ok, the fish kind of taste like cough syrup, but some of the other ones were ok. I think it’s just a matter of what you like. The rings were good,

  • OH MY GOSH. i had a bag of the watermelon ones the other day and I honestly think it was the best thing I’ve ever tasted! I 100000% recommend them.

  • I believe smartsweets has definitely improved there formula but to me it still seems like the gummy’s are way to difficult to chew. But I will still get them because of the low sugar!

  • I love the texture of these gummy snacks. They satisfy my sweet tooth while not making me feel guilty. I love the variety in flavors!

  • I have tried numerous of these candies and I enjoy them all. The nutritional content is great for a candy. My favorite has been the watermelon sour candies.

  • I was skeptical on if these would taste good. Not bad at all. Of course you can tell it’s not as sweet. However the taste is good. I like that the ingredients are much better than most candies.
