SmartSweets earns positive reviews for genuinely tasty, low‑sugar takes on nostalgic gummies like Sweet Fish, Peach Rings, Sourmelon Bites, and Red Twists; it satisfies cravings and often avoids “fake” sweetener aftertaste. Reviews also flag real drawbacks: many candies are extremely sticky or tough, flavors can be inconsistent with occasional stevia/allulose aftertaste and GI upset, and portions feel small. Overall, SmartSweets is good if cutting sugar, but texture quirks and formula variability make it a compromise for purists.

Odd taste, they definitely taste healthier than traditional candy. Good alternative for gummy candy lovers.
One of the better vegan caramels that I've tried. They're a little hard/tough at first, but quickly hit that ideal soft, buttey caramel consistency. It's great that they're a lower sugar option for people like me with a major sweet tooth. Would love to see other flavors introduced!
I love that these candies taste great and are made with less sugar than other treats. These come in great flavors and are healthier for you than other brands. These taste sweet without the guilt and something I recommend.
I've enjoyed pretty much every product that I've tried from SmartSweets. The packaging is fun, you can buy in larger or smaller quantities. I do feel like my sweet tooth is satisfied when eating their candy. The one downfall is the price... they are NOT cheap.
Delicious!! Love the taste and love the feeling of eating better while satisfying my sweet tooth.
I am obsessed with SmartSweets! They are my go-to candy and definitely feel guilt free. The peach rings are my favorite.
These have a weird aftertaste to me. But great for someone who wants a healthier option.
Too sweet. Tasty tho.
Nice little snack that does a good job of satisfying chewy candy cravings. It's obviously not as good as the real thing, but is a really solid low-sugar alternative to the usual candies. I've tried a few different kinds and would repurchase more often if not for the price point.
Good alternative to sugary candy. I find the price a then off, so tend to only purchase during special promotions.
I have tried 4 flavors of these and they all beat my expectations completely! I have no issues with sugar especially in candy, so I was not even the normal "market" for this product and I would buy again. The fish and red twists were the best of the bunch, but the rings and bears were also good. They were the right amount of sweet with a pleasant texture and I would not know they were low sugar at all. A little pricy, but with better ingredients if I wanted candy I would buy these again.
Very good! Classic taste without the classic sugar. I am especially excited for SmartSweets to come out with lower acidity candy mimics too since the main reason why I care about added sugars anyway is my teeth, which acidity doesn't do any flavors. Anyway, fun packaging and good nostalgia without nonsense like artificial sweeteners :)
i’m so addicted to these. the watermelon ones and the peach rings have become my favorite. you can definitely tell it’s the healthier option but it really satisfies the sweet tooth without having to have a bunch of sugar. the texture is similar to dots candy with it being very chewy and gummy.
When I’m laying in bed on my phone like now haha candy is right next to me like always. I tried the gummy bears and peachy rings. Loved the peach rings. Gummy bears could be better.

Best peach rings alternative!
Always taste kind of old snd not the same chewiness as traditional gummies
SmartSweets are the bomb! I love the peach rings. I cut down on added sugar a while back and was missing a lot of the candy from my childhood, but these are an amazing substitute and don't make me miss the old stuff at all. I just wish they all were vegan!

I thought the peach rings tasted very similar to the "original" version, and the flavor was good! They are quite sticky though, and the price is a bit high to justify regular purchases.
love the concept... but I personally didn't like the chemical taste of these treats. And they ended up getting stuck in my teeth.
