Reviews mention

  • Buttery-soft fabric comfort
  • Inclusive shade range
  • Flattering sculpt bodysuits
  • Versatile lounge essentials
  • Inconsistent sizing fit
  • Thin, snag-prone materials
  • Rolling-waist shapewear
  • Seam durability issues

SKIMS delivers exceptionally soft, flattering basics and shapewear according to many reviews, but the brand is inconsistent: SKIMS wins praise for buttery “Fits Everybody” intimates, supportive sculpt bodysuits, inclusive shades/sizes, and ultra‑comfortable loungewear, while numerous reviews report unreliable sizing, rolling shapewear, thin or snag‑prone fabrics, seam failures, and poor customer support. Overall, SKIMS is good when you find the right fabric and fit, but buyers should expect trial‑and‑error and variable durability.

  • I have several Skims products and really love their swimwear. I revisit this brand due to the nude color range. I wear my fits everybody high neck bodysuit in the shade cocoa at least once a week, and always on flights because it is so comfortable and easy to wear. Then for swimwear I started with two basic triangle top and bottom sets in cocoa and neon green, absolutely love the colors but they ran small (ordered a medium like the rest of my swimwear) so I learned for the next order and sized up. Overall, just learn your sizing for this brand and you’re golden!

  • I purchased Skims shapewear but honestly don’t feel like it is a game changer or is anything special. It is overpriced for what it is although the quality is decent.

  • Their bras are super comfortable and seamless. However, after washing it a few times it seems to have lost its color and some of the integrity of the lining.

  • I love the cotton underwear. Super lightweight, comfy & great fit. The bralettes can run a size small. For someone who is always a small, I need to size up in some bralettes because my boobs will pop out.

  • I love my skins! I currently have bralettes, a t shirt bra, and two Demi bras (my fav), plunge bra, and cotton rib underwear. I have not tried their shape wear but definitely will!

  • I'm disappointed to report that these are the best underwear I've bought in my life! The price is absolutely outrageous, but I think it's worth it. I have two sets of panties and bralettes and I don't think anything has fit me so well. I have a small chest but a good bubble but and thighs and it's sometimes difficult to find a comfortable fabric that doesn't bulge at the bottom, while offering pleasant support for the top. The softness of the fabrics is second to none and I'm also tempted by their bodysuit, but that will be for another moment!

I bought their products in Holt Renfrew in Montreal and the selection was horrible. I finally bought a flashy pink kit because I had no other options in store in my size, but it was not my first pick at all. I don't know how they manage their stock but it would be nice to have options while spending our big money!

  • I ordered a bra and it was baggy. It didn’t have the best fit on my underarms. I liked the texture but the underwire was uncomfortable.

    Feedback

I think the bra could have been more comfortable. The underwire was very uncomfortable.

  • The comfiest undies and loungewear. The shipping was fast

The stock goes out so fast, and the shapewear definitely runs smaller. I ordered according to size guide and i couldn't even get into the shapewear.

  • Sizing can be all over the place but some of their lounge pieces are my go-to work remote staples. Their bodysuits and tees are great layer basics as well. Pricey, but if you make sure to get things you'll wear often it's totally worth it.

  • I was "skim-fluenced" by a friend who swears by their shapewear. I have 2 full length bodysuit/gussets and I have to say its the real deal. The compression and support is unreal -- and I now favor my Skims over my spanx. I have tried the lounge dress on in Nordstroms and it really is amazing. I will likely splurge on it in the future. The material is amazing and a Skims pajama set I have is made of the same material. So comfortable, but they are pretty expensive so they will have to be my only pair.

If you have a booty or thicker thighs -- the shapewear can pinch and show lines under your clothing. For the thong body suit, I don't know if there is a fix for the appearance of panty lines on the hips and above the cheeks. But for the shorts -- I would love if they considered a softer more forgiving material for the hem at the thighs, so the garment lays smoother underneath clothes.

  • I have multiple bras and t shirts. I’ve given some as gifts.

I wanted to hate it but I can’t! It’s so comfortable. Expensive but absolutely worth it.

  • I really like the shapewear I have from Skims - I find it pretty comfortable and don't think that it shifts around too much, which is nice. Probably my only issue is the way that it cuts into me a bit at it's edges and sometimes creates new emphasis on my hips that I don't love... but I'm not entirely sure if there is a way that wouldn't happen with the products I've used. I found the product to be high quality for sure and generally would recommend!

  • I got some new basics this holiday season and was surprisingly happy with the texture, quality and all around fit of the undies. There is a ton of different styles and colors, and I truly believe everyone could find something they like and that flatters them.

  • Since I wear skims I feel myself more comfortable and sexy .

    Feedback

The quality is really good . Just a bit expensive because of that a lot of girls buy the same as cheap from SHEIN, but skims is more better !

  • Bought undies and shapewear from here and so far have been really high quality!

    Feedback

This product has been so popular/ viral that there has been a lot of sold out items for a long time!

  • I loveee my skims. I basically live in their tops. They’re undeniably comfortable and they have great pieces for everyday. While they are expensive. I personally feel that it’s worth the investment because the quality is great and I get a ton of wear. So the cost per wear for me is low!

I personally don’t like how often they drop new collections vs. restocking. To me it feels unsustainable and doesn’t focus on consumer needs. Additionally, their size range is screwed up. I am 3 sizes larger in skims as a plus size woman than I am at other stores which makes me sad for people larger than me who probably wouldn’t have an option to shop there. I believe this isn’t as much of a problem for the straight sizes though.

  • They're super nice. The sizing is a bit confusing and there are definitely great cheaper alternatives that are exactly the same.

    Feedback

Their designs and color ways are great.

  • I bought half a dozen pairs of underwear in 3-4 styles. Some of their styles are okay, but the vast majority just don’t fit comfortably. They are very small, floss-like. I am perpetually pulling out front wedgies.

    Feedback

I don’t have this issue with other underwear so I am not sure why they do this, but maybe a wider carriage?

  • I am not a Kardashians girl. I get their names confused, I haven't seen more than 5 minutes of KUWTK. So when a friend told me that Skims was it, I was a little curious. So naturally I ordered (a bodysuit and a bunch of underwear). I was obsessed. Everything is both flattering and comfortable—and I love all the shades available. The bodysuit is part of my weekly wardrobe now and has held up through the washes. The underwear? Well, I can't say the same about holding up. They've gotten a little shapeless and frumpy after a few times through the wringer, but for 3 for $36, I'm okay with it.
