  • Aromatic botanical profile
  • Elegant, display-worthy packaging
  • Versatile mixing flexibility
  • Sugar-free, clean formulation
  • Thin, watery mouthfeel
  • Flavor fades too quickly
  • Soapy, vegetal undertones
  • Notas de agave tastes flat

Seedlip earns mixed reviews: the brand delivers aromatic, gin-adjacent botanicals that mix beautifully into tonic- or soda-based mocktails, yet often lacks the bite, body, and lasting flavor many expect from alcohol alternatives. Reviews praise Garden 108 and Spice in cocktails and the elegant packaging, while calling out flat or soapy notes (especially Notas de Agave), faint taste unless heavily mixed, and a fleeting finish that can make drinks feel like herb water.

  • Great option to mix with sparkling water if you are avoiding alcohol. It truly feels like a slow-sip cocktail. Like that it's sugar free.

  • I have had several seedlip proudcts. I like that these have more complex flavors than other non-alcoholic spirits. These are best when in mocktails - if you can find some good recipes then Seedlip is a great substitute for true alcohol products. As someone who doesn't drink anymore, this is a good alternative.

  • This is going to be a slightly different kind of review because I tried Seedlip at a restaurant that uses it for its mocktails. The drinks were fine. And that’s about it. Seedlip tastes how it looks/how it sounds. It’s not going to give you the “buzz” of other alcohol alternatives because there aren’t any nootropics or adaptogens. It’s not going to give you the strong flavoring of a juice blend or concentrate. It just is what it is. Some botanicals in a bottle. You taste it, it’s pleasant, and then the flavor floats away.

  • Every winter we try to do Ban-uary and not drink for January and sometimes into February. We got the herbal Seedlip since we like adding herbs to our cocktails and thought it would have a different - maybe more sophisticated- taste profile. This has now sat in our cabinet for the better part of the year but I feel bad pouring it down the drain because of how much it costs. Neither of us enjoyed the taste at all, even when we tried mixing it with various other things... I've made better things myself by using cucumber, lemon and herbs... this was a total miss for me.

  • The taste is wonderful and it kind of hits like alcohol would! It doesn’t taste like it though, which is important to me as that would be a big trigger. With the variety of flavors, I’ve been able to make an array of mocktails.

Since it’s not alcohol after all, it shouldn’t be priced the same as alcohol.

  • Makes trying to mimic real spirits seem like a fools errand. Tastes like un-carbonated Fresca. Artificial and boring. If you’re looking for NA spirits, go a different direction.

    Feedback

Try something else if you’re looking to do something fun with NA spirits!

  • Not a huge fan of their non-alc spirits in terms of flavour. However, they were trailblazers and have opened the entire category up for others. Their process is also legitimate so you're not getting a water hiding behind marketing.

The recipes and flavour profiles could use improvement.

  • I was hesitant after tasting each of the three on their own, but after trying a few of the recipes on their site, I was completely won over. Since they aren't a direct substitution for a specific liquor, I had to reset that expectation in my mind. The pineapple, jalapeno margarita with Seedlip Garden is one of my favorite drinks now.

  • I've only tried the cans not the actual bottle, but they were delicious! I've been looking everywhere for them ever since!

I feel like the bottle is super pricey.

  • Going sober can be difficult when cocktails were a big part of your social activities. Seedlip was the first alcohol alternative I tried. Honestly there aren't really any great alcohol alternatives. None of them have that bite that you get with a good cocktail. But you can come close and at least get to feel like you're drinking a fancy drink if you can be creative. Seedlip does make some tasty alternative mocktails. There are other alcohol replacements that have hit the market since I first tried Seedlip that work better to create a good alternative mixed drink. I think it's just a matter of finding the brand that hits just right for you, and I personally have found others that work better for me.

  • Obsessed. A great alternative for those of us that live low/no alcohol lives. Recommend getting their recipe book as well. Personal favorite is the Garden.

  • Absolutely delicious, a high quality, alcohol free spirit that is perfect for mixing. A gin-esque vibe with botanicals pairs well with tonic or soda or in cocktails where a white spirit is appropriate.

It's expensive. Would love more flavours.

  • The only non alcoholic drink really worth trying. basically a G&T without alcohol!

  • I love my Seedlip cocktails! They are a great way to indulge in the creativity of mixology without getting necessarily having to have alcohol. Also a nice treat when I'm spending time with those who don't drink for whatever reasons!

    Feedback

More flavors would be great, but the three that are in place now are super flexible to work with.

  • I love seedlip products! Tastes great and can mix as you would any gin cocktail, plus the packaging is super fun.

  • Have some sober friends and these are always in their fridge. Not a replacement for a stiff drink by any means but great for something light to sip on if you're trying to avoid a hangover from a casual cocktail evening. Ends up tasting like a fun soda but sometimes that's what we're after!

  • I make fake gin and tonics with this and it works really well. Smells good and you can taste it, the only issue is I find it really expensive but the bottle is beautiful! great alternative to spirits.

  • Good for change of taste/pace. Got it mainly for my wife who is pregnant. She says it’s good. So I’m sold

  • When my wife was pregnant we were looking for beverage alternatives and came across Seedlip. Really tasty beverage that we often save for occasions versus having it with our meals. We often drink it by itself.

We had to go to a specialty beverage store to find it so hopefully they start to get distribution to major supermarkets to make it more accessible.
