Ruggable earns strong reviews for doing what it promises: stylish, machine‑washable rugs that handle pets, spills, and high‑traffic wear, with colors and patterns that stay crisp after repeated washes. However, reviewers flag thin construction with minimal cushion, finicky alignment on the pad (corners/Velcro and tripping), shag and plush styles matting quickly, vacuuming challenges, and large sizes being hard to handle; some note size discrepancies and outdoor pads trapping water.

I like that you can detach the top. My only issue is that it still stains, so if you spill something that stains, you’ve wasted the money spent. If you only need regular dirt cleaning, it’s a great product.
Easy browsing, order, and shipment flow. The rug is super soft and easy to clean.

The unboxing and layout process is a little challenging. Recommend having two people to get the mat and the rug properly lined up and it took a day or two to "settle" into place

I love this product. I always used to remove my rugs and wash them by hand but it took forever! These ruggables are very stylish, and i love the fact that i can wash them in the washer machine. Very convenient.

I loved my experience with Ruggable! My rug was stylish and modern, and being able to wash and dry my rug in the washing machine is awesome.
I’m a big Ruggable fan, but this is a review about my recent purchase, Outdoor Absida Multicolor Rug. I paid extra for a pad also, and boy was I disappointed. The pad, as confirmed by customer service, is NOT meant to be water permeable….and it’s an OUTDOOR RUG. So now I’ve got a huge pad inside my garage forever. I wish that were the only issue. This rug shows every last bit of dirt and looks gross all the time. Is it washable? Yep, so I washed it. A week later…it was just as gross again and we hadn’t even used the back deck. I wish I could take back this purchase and the money spent. Never again with an outdoor Ruggable.
I purchased two rugs online from Ruggable. One for my foyer and one for my sunroom. They both arrived promptly and were just as beautiful as they looked online. The one for my sunroom was a bit bigger than the measurements said, so I had to fold a side of it to fit. I did follow up with them via IG and they emailed me back shortly after to help resolve the issue. Although I didn't follow up, they did seem anxious to make it right. They have sales often and it's definitely worth it.

NB. The padding shouldn't be used by a door as it may not clear the rug with the extra padding. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from them again. Actually, I'm sure I will.
These rugs are brilliant. They have tons of great patterns and designs that don’t stain and wash well. The washing instructions are simple, and it can be put in the dryer, too. I have a runner in my kitchen from the Jonathan Adler collaboration. It’s held up beautifully against the occasional spill and my dog. The price point is very reasonable for the longevity of the rug—I would never consider anything else!
We have a ruggable in our living space and nursery and we love it! Our pup likes to spend extra time in the living space, so it makes it so easy to be able to wash it at home!

Ruggable is a fantastic idea. We've only tried on rug so far and it was the shag carpet. I do like it, especially with having a dog that sheds a lot. It is soft and there's a peace of mind knowing it can be washed easily.

The shag rugs unfortunately become matted down and they look a little rough after a while!
Rug lays well. Is a bit finicky to vacuum but not a deal breaker. The customer service is great. My first rug came with a damaged edge and they quickly got back with me and replaced it.

The design is a print of a tapestry rug. Washable and perfect for my animals to visit as I work at the computer. Exactly what I needed.

I purchased a large 6x9 shag rug and a 6x9 plush rug about 6 months ago. After 3 months on the floor, the shag looked like a terribly matted dog which got worse after a cold water wash and hang dry. Nothing I did helped with the issue. That was a very expensive rug in the trash. I then put down the plush, and again after three months it has matted even after a cold water wash and low heat tumble dry. These were both very expensive rugs and I am sickened over the nearly $1400 I lost on them. I have the regular ruggable runners and a large regular rug and they have done well thus far but it does not make up for losing so much on the other rugs. I will look to another washable rug company next time.

I do NOT recommend the shag or plush rugs. Despite all recommendations from the manufacturer on how to care for them, these rugs look terrible after only a few months and a single wash. If you still insist on a Ruggable, stick with the regular ones.
