Ruggable earns strong reviews for doing what it promises: stylish, machine‑washable rugs that handle pets, spills, and high‑traffic wear, with colors and patterns that stay crisp after repeated washes. However, reviewers flag thin construction with minimal cushion, finicky alignment on the pad (corners/Velcro and tripping), shag and plush styles matting quickly, vacuuming challenges, and large sizes being hard to handle; some note size discrepancies and outdoor pads trapping water.

I had a previous Ruggable that required a separate pad below and honestly we hated it because the sides often curled up. It was not a very cushy, cozy rug. However, they do have some great designs and collaborations so it's always on my radar. When I saw there was a Labor Day sale, I pulled the trigger on a hallway runner that we needed to replace. I saw that they have another option where it's got that layer attached so it's one piece which I ended up getting. I like the design and how it feels. The obvious pro is that it's washable which is necessary with small kids and a dog. I can't imagine a bigger rug being washable in a washing machine but with a runner, deifnitely doable.

I had never heard of Ruggable until my mother in law suggested that we get one of their rugs after we moved into our new house. She mentioned that she had some of their rugs and was very pleased with them. Now that ours has arrived, I can see why! Not only is the rug beautiful and comfortable to stand on, washing it is a breeze, as you can throw it in the washing machine and it won’t pull apart. Although shipping took a long time, it was worth the wait! I am very pleased with this product and will be purchasing more for around the house.

As someone who fosters dogs, the idea of a washable rug is pretty appealing to me, as I end up replacing my rugs often. I waited a long time to purchase, as the price point seemed pretty high to me, but I decided to try out ruggable when there was a sale. Overall a very good product, but... a) I'm not a meticulous or patient person, and I found getting the rug to lay perfectly flat and even on the velcro base maddening... definitely a job a leave for my type a partner b) the price point... within the past couple of years the market has flooded with other washable rug products for way less money. Ruggable is definitely at the higher end quality-wise, but for half the price I'm more likely to go with another brand

Looking forward to having this rug in my new home and seeing how the quality holds up. I love the beautiful prints, particularly from the Jungalow collection which I ordered from. I also purchased the padding mat to provide additional cushion support with my growing family.
