  • Weak cleaning vibration

quip earns mixed reviews: it looks refined and travels well, but its brushing performance trails true electric rivals. Reviews praise quip’s sleek, lightweight design, mirror-mounted travel cover, timed 30‑second pulses, and hassle-free refill heads (often with batteries). Many criticize weak vibrations that act more as a timer than a cleaner, bristles that feel too stiff or wear quickly, fragile heads and motors, hard-to-remove parts, and occasional mold or gunk buildup—some dentists urge switching to oscillating or higher-powered brushes.

  • long time subscriber. nice that you get a new brush head every three months but don't love that shipping is no longer free, especially when you have a subscription.

  • The handle of the brush vibrates but the head really doesnt, so it's basically a mega expensive regular toothbrush. Then bc you think the vibration is helping clean (it's not, again the head doesnt vibrate only the handle does) you dont brush with the same manual power so you actually end up getting a worse clean.

  • I feel quipt was the toothbrush that was a smaller and sleaker electric toothbrush. Overtime it gets very difficult to remove the heads to replace and put in new batteries. You also can only stick the case onto one surface and doesn’t allow you to take on and off easily to travel with.

  • I love how sleek these tooth brushes are . They feel high quality for the price and do a great job of cleaning

  • Great toothbrush! I love this for traveling. Great size and quality

  • This is a great brush. Timer for sections of your teeth. Vibration and bristles get your teeth very clean. I floss and use this and the folks who clean my teeth always say my teeth are always VERY clean. Only trouble is the replaceable head fails after a year or so. The bottom part gets worn out so the new fresh top keeps flopping off.

  • I’ve been using a quip toothbrush for about 4 years now. I love how I don’t have to worry about needing to replace the head. Worth the investment in my books!

  • The concept and design of Quip is awesome however the toothbrushes do tend to break very easily. That being said, their costumer service is great but I find the toothbrushes have very VERY short life span.

  • I used this toothbrush when it first hit the market and really loved the sleek design. After a few years of using it though, my dentist recommended I switch to a Sonicare bc it wasn't breaking cleaning as well as it should have been. (My dentist loves to give unfiltered honesty lol). It's gorgeous but I wouldn't write home about it. Also, you have to change the battery out a little more often than I'd like. If they come out with a rechargeable option and more brush options (soft, medium hard), I'd be open to trying them again.

  • Nice and so easy to use. I love the sleek design.

  • I use one of their toothbrushes and their floss pick, I love it! It’s convenient because they send you everything you need as often as you want it. Including replacement batteries!! They use sustainable packaging too.

  • I was decently happy with quip until the battery wouldn’t hold a charge and then the brush head wouldn’t stay attached. It’s not in a great spot because when you push it around, the head unclips backwards. I switched to burst.

  • Convenient toothbrush and floss, great for travel, comfortable in mouth and for brushing, good reach, leaves great cleanly feeling, floss glides well.

  • I liked my quip for a bit but I didn’t feel like it really gave my teeth the attention they needed. It’s not a full force electric tooth brush, and I think that’s where it’s lacking.

  • Using quip has truly improved my teeth-brushing habits and I'm really grateful for its existence! I tried the bluetooth/smart brush head once (before losing it..) and while I think it was cool, definitely not worth the money to gamify brushing unless it's for a kid or someone actively trying to be better at brushing. This is a little silly, but I wish there was a countertop stand or something - I've left the toothbrush on many hotel mirrors and the bad habit becomes expensive over time...

  • Love how minimalistic the design is making it the perfect vacation toothbrush!

  • 5 stars for aesthetics, 1 star for functionality, so an average of 3 stars. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️ quip advertised so heavily during the early days of podcasts that I finally gave in and tried their toothbrush, flosser pick, mouthwash dispenser, and gum dispenser. Ultimately I was disappointed with all of the items. They are really attractive and look great on your countertop, but none of them really made sense functionally. The toothbrush head kept popping off the handle after a while. The mouthwash dispenser dripped mouthwash on itself when you tipped it back into place. The flosser pick could not hold the floss in place and it would always come out while flossing. The gum dispenser was OK actually, just way over-engineered for just gum, and I wasn’t crazy about the gum texture. Plus buying gum from quip to refill the dispenser got pricey. Such a good idea but just not executed well at all.
